“Welcome to Star Awesome!” 

Toby's voice echoed. 

Jacksaw sat in the verandah looking at Toby's bright smile, his hand held forward. Jacksaw blinked and slowly took his hand.

I am not sure…

But it was maybe……

“We have been awake the whole night!” Jacksaw rubbed his eyes, wandering around the kitchen.

“What do you want to eat?” Nami swung the fridge door open.

Sen lit the stove and pointed at the eggs. “Nami, hand over the eggs…”

She pulled out the box of eggs, almost bumping into Yao. “Sorry…”

Yao nodded silently, peering into the fridge, lost in a daze. Sen poured oil into a pan while Nami cracked some eggs. The oil sizzled as the eggs fried.

Jacksaw nudged Yao. “The bread…” He wordlessly handed the bread; Jacksaw tossed the loaves into the toaster. 

Sephora poured the juice. Her eyes occasionally drifted to Yao. “Are you okay, Yao?” She handed him the juice.

He jolted and looked at her, smiling. “Yeah, I am good…”

Jacksaw stood near the window, and the dark sky rumbled. He glanced at Sephora, who blushed when her eyes met Yao's.
She is blushing around Yao a lot. I never knew she liked him.

Nami arranged the plates on the counter. Sen divided eggs while Jacksaw placed bread loaves. Sephora passed out the juice.

“Hmm…we should cook often…” Jacksaw laughed.

“Yeah…it feels family-like…” Nami picked her bread and took a bite.

Sen ate a few bites and stood up. “I am going to find Yuzuru. He should eat too…”

“Yuzuru is so rude…” Sephora pouted and hugged Nami. “Don’t take his words to heart.”

“I won’t….. I know he didn’t mean it; he was just paranoid...” 

Yao took small bites, his eyes darting from Nami to Sephora. Yoa gestured for Jacksaw to come out. Both of them stood up and excused themselves.

As soon as they were out, Yao pulled him closer. “It’s just….what if she attracted Toby…?”

Jacksaw clapped his hand on Yao’s mouth. “Aren’t you Nami’s friend… don’t doubt her… That’s not a friend-like thing to do.”

Yao jerked his hand away. He opened his mouth to speak, but Nami's scream echoed from the kitchen. They rushed in. 

A guy wearing a cloak stood next to Nami. Sephora lay on the floor, lifeless, her face covered in scratches. 

Nami's trembling hands reached out to the man. But her hands passed right through him.

“I am 121 leader…” He chuckled. “It was 12:1; someone had to die!”

“Why did you kill Sephora?” Yao quickly reached out to Nami's wrist and pulled her away from the leader.

“Not only Sephora, Janka, Morrissey, Nike and Lunette…” The leader slowly tilted his head, narrowing his eyes. He pointed at Nami. “I wasn’t going to hurt her…”

“WHY DID THOSE INNOCENT ONES DIE?” Nami yelled.

“Oh, because I kill silent observers, while Toby kills the offenders.”

A sigil glowed in front of Jacksaw’s left hand. "I will try to keep him here!"
Yao grabbed Nami's hand and dragged her out of the kitchen. 

The windows rattled due to lightning. The fog slowly rolled around Jacksaw, swallowing him.

“I can’t see a thing...”

A pair of familiar hands covered his eyes. Jacksaw gasped. Slowly he grabbed the hands, freeing himself. "T-toby?"

Toby walked in front of him, with a smile. 

Jacksaw stared at him with wide eyes; he rubbed his forehead. “Don’t smile at me like that… that k-kind smile… it contradicts your actions.”

Toby sighed. “And your actions also contradict you….”

Toby grabbed his cheeks, pulling him down. 
Their lips touched.
Jacksaw tried to push him away, but his body weakened.
His knees hit the floor while Toby bent lower
Deepening the kiss. 

Jacksaw’s eyes became heavy; he tried to raise his arms, but his hands only twitched.

I-I can’t breathe….. How did he know I liked him?

I am not sure…

But it was maybe……love at first sight

Jacksaw walked down the hallway into the lounge; he saw Toby looking out at the glass door. He clasped his chest and walked next to Toby.

Toby looked at Jacksaw with a smile. Jacksaw turned completely red; he directed his gaze outside.

“What are you doing, Toby?”

“I am moon gazing; it’s pretty, isn’t it?” Toby blushed and looked at the moon.

Jacksaw looked at him, at the moon and back at him. 

“Nah, you are prettier.”

I wish I had said that…
I only stayed silent

I didn’t want to be labeled gay
So I never confessed

And when Yuzuru turned against him
I chose friendship over love.

I mean
It’s not like Toby and I were even a thing...

Nami walked into the kitchen; she rushed to Jacksaw's dead body.

His forehead read 'loser in love'.
