Chapter 21:

The Third Adoption

Bangles of power, Warriors of Fate

Three years later, in another universe,

Wahido (in the form of a butterfly) was meditating.

Hijoto was training his disciples. He completed the training session, went to the cupboard, grabbed the magical book, and put it on the table.

Ellita (Wahido) came inside and started fluttering over the pages.

“Today is the third death anniversary of Tsangero; we must go to the orphanage and adopt a girl as we did the last two years,” appeared on the pages.

Hijoto closed the book, and they both left for the orphanage.

The two girls they had adopted in the last two years were Anota and Dilaa.

Anota was five years old, had brown hair, and wore only pink-colored outfits.

Dilaa was seven years old, had grey hair, and was very food-loving.

Both girls were very mischievous.

A disciple of Hijoto, Nohari Onita, took care of them. Nohari is twenty years old and was a disciple of Wahido. After adopting Dilaa, Hijoto gave Nohari the responsibility to take care of every girl they adopted.

Only Hijoto and Nohari knew the truth about Ellita—the butterfly—and Wahido. All three of them lived in Wahido's house.

Hijoto and Wahido reached the orphanage, where they saw a shy, quiet girl named Mecho Chan. She was very humble, so Hijoto decided to adopt her.

While they were leaving for Wahido’s house, she saw a cute puppy.

“Aww, such a cute puppy… Chu chu chuu… Chi chi chi… come to me,” she said.

Hijoto whispered, “Such a sweet girl.”

The puppy refused to go to her.

She stopped, bowed her head, picked up a stone from the ground, and said, “You are gone now,” while chasing the puppy to throw the stone at him.

Hijoto and Wahido both got shocked. Hijoto went and picked her up, calming her down. “Calm down, Mecho; it's just a puppy.”

“I will kill him — how dare he refuse Mecho Chan!” she yelled in anger.

Hijoto and Wahido gave each other a weird look and brought Mecho home.
