BOOK ONE COMPLETE!

As you may have noticed, chapters have been a bit sparse lately. This month has been pretty hectic for me, and it doesn’t look like it’ll improve in the short term.

Since we’ve wrapped what would be the first book right at the point where the story truly begins, I want to take a short break and rest from writing to focus on real life.

Especially because this novel seems to be a slow grower and isn’t ready for a Patreon yet, so I can’t focus on it as much as I’d like, haha.

But I’ll be back as soon as the skies clear!

Rather than return with more frequent chapters, I’d like to come back with longer ones. I need to test what works best.

I might drop those longer chapters for the second book from time to time, or I might stockpile them for later (along with the spicy chapters I plan to post to a future Patreon, too).

In the meantime, take the chance to rest as well. The first book was pretty dense with lore and a bit slow on plot progression. The next books should be the other way around.

It didn’t end with a bang or anything like that, since it was basically just introducing the setting, but I think it met that goal.

(I mean, that usually takes a few pages; I used a whole book, so I hope the setting is at least established, haha).
