Chapter 44:
Waldina - Journey as a ninja in another world
Somewhere in Xunte Sintra, not that far away from Waldina, Kiandra nor Claudia, a certain knight was walking around. His short, golden-brown hair framed his slightly tanned face. Adding blue eyes and kind demeanor and the man was nearly the epitome of heroism.
This time he wasn’t carrying his shield nor sword with him. Xunte Sintra was a battle-free area after all. Yet his muscular and vigorous demeanor did little to hide his status.
The man himself didn’t quite feel at ease in his appearance. After all he wasn’t originally from this world, but somewhere outside Adventurous Online. Settling into a new world and body had taken its toll on him and he had been ready to give up.
It was then that he first heard of another person having been summoned to this world, the ninja-Waldina. He was overcome with a strong urge to meet up with the ninja and bond over their shared experiences. But most of all he wished… He wished that the ninja would be the same Waldina he knew. The girl whom he’d begun playing AO for.
And finally he saw her.
The ninja appeared near Xunte Sintra like a hurricane. At that moment he was walking across a square next to the city gates when a certain countryboy ran through the gates, accompanied by a small blue bubble which he couldn’t quite see. He was too far away at that point.
Then he saw the purple haired ninja, in her black clothes, fighting against a group of adventurers. Each one of the ninja’s movements were elegant, beautiful and deadly. Normally no one would have a chance against five stronger adventurers. But that ninja was anything but normal. She made the fullest of her capacity and skillsets. The man was sure of it.
Waldina was here.
However the knight knew he was the hero summoned here by Slehtkubi and they called Waldina a mere backup so he wasn’t completely ignorant of his standing. He clenched his hands into tight fists, fighting against the urge of helping the ninja out. Yet once he saw Waldina fall unconscious his body moved before his mind. Each one of his cells was screaming at him to help her out.
And then Waldina had been on his arms, small and light. Oziel managed to contain himself and carry the ninja to her friends and to a closeby inn. For a moment he entertained the thought of remaining at their side but decided otherwise at the end. If he were to believe Slehtkubi, it was highly likely Waldina wouldn’t be excited about meeting him specifically.
Oziel exited the place without a word, swearing he’d meet the ninja again in a better time and place.
