Chapter 34:
Accidentally Turning an Otome Game into a Yuri One!
Hello, dear readers, TheGrompFather here.
I may or may not have taken longer than I expected to finish Accidentally Turning an Otome Game into a Yuri One, but circumstances in real-life sadly played a rather large part in this.
For those of you who don’t know, I moved to Japan earlier this year and have been working there as a teacher. I’ve been ill a few times, had some technical and personal issues, and also I decided it’d be fun to write 2 stories for this contest.
Accidentally Turning an Otome Game into a Yuri One is one of two stories that I actually wrote mostly by hand with pen and paper (and then typed it up afterwards); the other story is Flowers Bloomed by a Poisonous Rose. It’s been so much fun writing the story of Raena and Yuri, so I hope you all enjoyed reading it. In fact, I feel that this writing method of doing it by hand and then typing it has gone so well I might even write more novels this way.
But not Eris.
Speaking of, once the contest entries are both finished, The Children of Eris and its new spin-off series In the Shadow of History will soon be uploaded to Honeyfeed. It’ll be the Reborn version of Eris for the time being, although I have started work on the Year 3 Arc of The Children of Eris.
Originally, I had lots of different ideas for how this story could progress, but I truly believe I picked the best option for it. Raena and Yuri both are dear to my heart, and I will really miss writing them. Maybe we’ll one day revisit their story.
For now, however, this is where their tale ends.
If you want another Yuri story to read, my contest entry from 2022, A Third and Final Time, is something I’d strongly recommend reading. A completely unbiased opinion.
Or if you want to read my other contest entry for this year, please check out Flowers Bloomed By a Poisonous Rose here - https://www.honeyfeed.fm/novels/21839.
Thank you again for all the love, support, comments and for reading until the end!
Or, you know, just checking out the author’s afterword and nothing else.
Bit weird, but thanks.
See you all again soon!
