The School, The God and The Plan

Somewhere in Dimension 0 on the planet Dimensia is being destroyed. In the center courtyard of the city next to giant buildings is a kid crying huddled up wearing a green and black hoodie. He looks up and sees people being murdered by creatures with wings. People being dragged out in the street, lined up in a row, and executed. He hides under building debris hoping to not be seen by the creatures. As he sits there he hears noises that sound like gunshots after gunshot, till nothing. It's silent. The only sounds he can hear are the fires roaring from the building and cars. An eerie noise, like something coming loose, makes him look up. A giant metal “U.D.F.” building sign starts to fall towards him as he tries to get up and run away, but he’s too late.

Whack!! The kid opens his eyes to find he's in a desk with drool dripping from his mouth. He looks up to see a very angry person with a ruler in their hand.

“Glad you could join us Number 0. Now quit falling asleep and listen.”

Number 0 is that my name? But wasn't I just in a burning city?

He looked around at his surroundings. He was in a small room that looked like it was falling apart and smelt really bad. It was just him and two other kids in the class.

What happened? Why does everything seem so fuzzy and hard to remember?

As he thought he was hit on the head by the teacher with the ruler.

“Pay attention number 0 quit daydreaming.” The teacher had an aggravated expression and was slamming the ruler back forth on their hand.

The boy looked at the teacher worried he would get hit again.

“I'm sorry I'll pay attention now.” The boy bowed his head at the teacher.

“Good” the teacher walked to the front of the class to a blackboard and pointed at it.

Will continue then, the fall of Dimensia just happened so now i have to teach all of you the correct history and rules of our dimension because the ones in power lied and tried to corrupt you. Lucky for you, King Thanatos blessed us with his presence and eliminated the old king and stripped him of his right to live and restored order to our dimension. Now there are no dimensions outside of ours except for the celestials. They exist outside of our dimension, but no life and no other race exist except us humans.

Wait, what are they talking about? Who is king Thanatos and old king? Taught wrong? Why can't I remember anything?

The boy raised his hand.

“Yes number 0?”

“Um excuse me who is King Thanatos and what do you mean about dimensions and races?”

The teacher was infuriated and headed over to hit the boy, he grabbed his head and ready the hit. Till a girl with blue hair stopped the teacher.

“Wait please”

The teacher waitied with their hand just mere inches from hitting the boy’s head.

The girl turned around and smiled at Number 0.

“You know who I am, yes?” She looked at the boy with a smile and held her hands together.

The boy looked confused.

Who is she? Should I know? Why can't I remember?

“Thank you for stepping in, but I'm sorry I don't know who you are.” The boy said while faking a smile.

The girl hearing this lost her smile and dropped her arms and looked down at the ground. The teacher looked very sad and went back to the front.

“It happened again didn't it, that's ok. I promised you I would stick with you till the end. My name is Sierrna and I Am your future wife according to our systems.” She perked herself back up and grabbed the boy's arms and smiled. The boy's eyes opened wide at the pure happiness she gave off and good vibes.

Wait, she's my future wife? I'm super lucky. She's so beautiful. Wait, I feel so happy and at peace with her.

The girl grabbed him and brought him to the window and pointed outside.

“This is our dimension, Dimensia and a week ago the savior King Thanatos showed up and saved us all from a horrible future. Were at a recreation camp or school. We're here to learn the proper rules and history of our dimension since we were taught wrong.”

So we were taught wrong? I wish I remembered all of that.

The girl looked into his eyes and he felt his heart start to race. He then saw tears falling down the girl's face as she let go of his hand and ran out the room. He turned to look and she left and he felt a pain in his chest. The teacher approached and stood next to the boy.

“I'm sorry I shouldn't have hit you. I didn't know it happened again.”

Happened again? What happened again?

The boy looked at the teacher in confusion then quickly remembered the girl.

“Why was she crying? Did I do something wrong?”

The teacher looked out the window for a while with a sad expression till finally turning to the boy.

“It's nothing you did. Trust me on that. You and her are to be married as to combat the decrease in population. Our god had decided to pair people up that are the same age so they would get along and live the rest of their lives peacefully. I'm sorry to ask this but, do you remember anything?” The teacher looked at the boy.

The boy looked at the teacher and then shook their head in a sideways motion.

“I see. Then I guess I will have to start over. She was crying because this is the 34th time you've lost all your memories.”

The boy was shocked by the news.

I've lost all my memories not once or twice but 34 times.

The boy was lost for a while thinking about everything trying to process it. He then looked at the teacher.

“What's my name?”

The teacher just stared at the boy for a while and then a sadden expression filled the teacher's face.

“You don't have one, so everyone calls you Zero.”

“Do I have a family?”

The teacher paused and started to have tears fall down their face. The teacher quickly wiped the tears away and gained composure again.

“No you don't, I'm sorry Zero.”

I don't have anyone, I don't have a name, I don't even have memories.

The boy stopped thinking as tears fell from his face.

Why am I crying? Why am I sad?

The teacher dropped the ruler and hugged Zero pulling him close into their chest. The teacher couldn't hold them back anymore, the teacher started to cry with Zero.

“It’s ok, Zero were here. We won't leave you behind no matter how many times you lose your memories, We won't abandon you.”

The teacher after a while loosened their grip on Zero and then wiped their tears and Zero’s.

“Go play outside on the playground. I'll get lessons back to stage one again ok.”

Zero headed out the room and outside to see the girl on the swing still crying, he approached her. He grabbed her hand and held it and looked at her.

“I'm sorry I didn't remember you. I'm sorry I keep losing my memories.”

The girl looked up at Zero and started to wipe her tears with her hand while Zero was still holding on.

“Sierrna, Sierrna, Sierrna, Sierrna. Now I won't forget it.” Zero said with a smile. Sierrna smiled back.

Sierrna got off the swing.

“Let's go play Zero, let's make as many memories so that way you wont forget them.”

The two of them played for hours going up and down on the slide, swinging on the swing set, building sandcastles.

This is fun, I hope I don't forget this wonderful day.

Zero headed inside with Sierrna and back to the class, where the teacher showed them to their rooms. Zero is brought to a really small room with a single bed pushed up against a wall. Zero gets into the bed.

I hope I can keep these memories

As Zero lays in bed he thinks about the day and all the events that happened. He then looks over at a tiny desk with a writing utensil and notepad, he gets out of bed and heads to the desk and picks up the utensil and starts to write,

“Your name is Zero, you have a memory loss problem. It's ok you may not know what to do but it's ok just remember Sierrna, she's your future wife. It's ok you did like her and were ok with it. It may seem hard at first. It'll be ok, you'll be fine because she won't abandon you so remember her.”

I hope that will do. Although I hope I don't lose my memories again, this is just a precaution so I wont make her sad again.

Zero thinks of Sierrna and her smile. He ends the note and gets back into bed and falls asleep. The next morning Zero falls out of his bed. He gets off the floor and looks around confused.

Where am I? What happened?

Zero looks around in the unknown room and sees a note and sees writing on it. He picks it up and reads the note. He once again faces the harsh reality he lost his memories again. He hears a knock on the door and a girl's voice.

That must be this Sierrna I wrote about.

Zero fixed his messy bedhead and opened the door. Standing there was Sierrna with a happy expression. Zero stared at her for a while which made her blush a little.

“Um, is there something on my face Zero?”

“No, I'm sorry it's just your so captivating to look at Sierrna.”

Sierrna hearing that looked a Zero with widened eyes.

“You remembered my name. You remember Zero. You didn't lose your memories this time.”

“No, I did but I remembered you like I said I would.”

Sierrna fell on her knees and started to cry.

“Zero, Zero, Zero you remembered me!!”

Oh no, did I upset her? What did I do wrong? I read the note.

Just then the teacher came running because of the commotion.

“What's wrong? Are you ok?”

Sierrna quickly wiped her tears and gained her composure back and looked at the teacher.

“He remembered my name.”

The teacher, shocked at this news, looked at Zero and asked.

“Zero what's her name?”

“Its Sierrna”

The teacher couldn't believe it after all the wipes he finally remembered something even if just a name it was a huge step in the right direction. The teacher quickly pulled a notebook and jotted down the events that just happened and then helped Zero and Sierrna to class. Zero didn't know where to sit so Sierrna showed him where. The teacher then made a holo screen appear which showed text and images of things Zero had never seen before.

Ok, let's start over then hello class my name Ms.Xander and I'm here to teach you the new laws and customs are god Thanatos has now brought back. Will get started with the Repopulation operation, Ever since the battle of the order of knights and the celestials. We have called this event the fall, during the fall our foolish king challenged Thanatos to a war. Thanatos showed and eliminated every supporter of the king within mere hours he wiped four million of the king's followers. After he got rid of all the evil followers. His advisor and the second strongest being, notified him that he had eliminated sixty percent of the population. After he was told this he initiated the repopulation operation, as soon as someone is born they are assigned a partner for life and when the both reach the age of eighteen they will then have to have a minimum of three kids and less and you would be considered a traitor and put down by the UDF specialist. With this new operation it should only take twenty years to reach the population number it once was before the fall. The next part of this new plan is the housing situation and teaching responsibility to the children. Five people are selected to live in one home rundown or nice depending on the skills and dedication ones show. Once you are given a home, there are roles in the house: the commoner and the king and queen. The two who are to be married are the king and queen. It's a harsh but simple plan. The one rule that must never be broken is disobeying the person with the role of king. If one defies that person they are immediately executed on the spot as it shows that the person who defied the king is a traitor and must be dealt with. The final rule is if one breaks a rule or does something that deserves punishment then it is not only that person who is punished, but the whole house as one is punished including the king and queen. It shows that the person in the king role is not studied for the leadership role and is punished, stripped of their rank and removed and sent to a place called the eternal loop. We know nothing of what the place is but no one is ever seen again once they are sent there. Ms.Xander finished with her lesson and started to repeat it again.

King? Strict Rules? Queen? A place no one comes back from. This is so hard to understand, but someone how I feel like it’s better than what it was before. If what she says is true then I have been given the King role and I'm guessing Sierrna, my partner was given the Queen role. I guess this is my life now, but still something in my heart is telling me this isn't right. It feels like I'm forgetting someone special to me, but that can’t be I wrote about Sierrna. She must be that special person to me.

Zero sat and thought about everything, not realizing a terrifying presence behind him.

“Pay attention Zero!!!”

Smack!!!

Zero was hit on the head by a very angry Ms.Xander using a rolled up textbook, she knocked Zero out of his seat. Zero fell to the ground rubbing his head after being hit, dumbfounded by what hit . He looked up and saw a very scary face on his teacher. She looked like a demon to him. He quickly got up and apologized over and over. He got back in his seat with a shameful look on his face.

Great good job you went and pissed off our teacher. An unknown voice said in Zero’s mind.

Ok smart one you're talking to yourself in your head so who else could I be?

Before Zero could answer or think about it he’s interrupted.

“Zero! Stop communicating with the goddess.” Ms. Xander yelled at Zero.

“What?”

“You just had a conversation in your head, yes?”

“Um, yeah I'm sorry.”

“It's not your fault it's our goddess Demorshia.”

“Demor-whoa”

“Demorshia! Don't slander her name again.”

“I'm sorry, but could you explain.”

“Oh yes, certain people who attract our goddess attention can have what we call divine talks with her at any time she wishes to. Although do not tell anyone that you can talk to her or have heard her.” The teacher had a worried expression on her face as she quickly tried to seem happy and calm. She then pointed to the corner of the room which had writing on it that read the rules of the new world.

“I will not report you Zero but, please do not be seen doing that again.” Ms. Xander reassured Zero he was still safe.

Zero was revealed he wouldn't be executed for this. His new found safety was short lived as the student in the room who had not said anything finally stood up out of his seat.

“I'm going to tell them you can talk to the goddess.” A boy with orange fuzzy hair said as he sprinted out the door and down the hallway.

Zero’s heart sunk in his chest he started to panic and sweat profusely. Zero fell out of his seat and started to breathe very heavily and quickly. Ms. Xander immediately went to Zero side to try and calm him down. Zero couldn’t tell what was happening around him, his vision started to turn black.

What’s happening? Why is everything going black? I can’t hear anything.

Ms. Xander was over Zero yelling at someone in the doorway but, Zero couldn't make anything out all he saw was figures appear in the room and before they approached him his vision went completely dark and his hearing was silent. Zero opened his eyes to absolute darkness all around him.

Where am I?

Zero wondered as he tried to recall what happened. While Zero was trying, a figure started to form from a bright light that appeared out of nowhere. It was a woman of indescribable beauty. The woman fully materialized and smiled at Zero which made his heart beat a little faster.

“Hello Zero.” The woman said.

Zero, still shocked by the woman's beauty, stood there infatuated. After a while Zero came back to his senses.

“I'm sorry I didn't mean to stare.”

The woman just gave a little chuckle.

“It’s ok I’m glad we get to meet again.”

“Again?”

“Oh yes we have met many times but it seems your power was very weak the last couple days so i couldn't make a connection, but I did today so I took this opportunity to bring you to my domain. Although I'm very sad that you have forgotten me. I'm a merciful goddess so I'll forgive you since you're my betrothed, but that being said I wont be so forgiving the next time.” An immediate aura could be felt from her last words.

Zero took a minute to process and then thanked the goddess for being nice.

“Thank you for forgiving me… wait,”

“Betrothed!!! I'm engaged to you? How does that even happen? This has to be some joke right Sierrna is pulling one over on me right.”

As Zero uttered Sierrna’s name he was sent flying down and slammed against a newly formed floor. The woman had a terrifying expression on her face.

“Dear did I hear you say another woman’s name during our special alone time?” She looked at him with pure rage and jealousy.

Zero still on the floor with the Goddess standing over him with a crazy look.

Oh no what do i say what can i do?

Zero was thinking when he heard a woman’s voice in his head.

You can’t escape me in your head dear

Zero froze with pure fear.

“I'm sorry Goddess, she's just a friend who is helping me with my memory problems. I also forgot you too so I'm sorry.” Zero said, hoping this would calm down the newly enraged goddess.

The goddess’s look and attitude changed again to a worried spouse; she grabbed Zero and started to hug him tightly, pushing him into her chest, suffocating Zero.

“Why didn't you say so dear. I wouldn't have slammed you on the floor.”

Zero, still suffocating, was trying with all his strength to push out of the goddess’s hold. Finally Zero was able to break away. As soon as he did he quickly started breathing in the air. Zero panting, still catching his breath, looked over at the goddess.

“So may I ask why we are engaged?”

“Oh of course you reached out to me when you were just three, since then I decided you would be my betrothed.”

“I thought people couldn't reach out, only the gods could reach out to us.”

“Yes that’s true but you were special. You were the first to reach out to and you even knew my name, when you first contacted me you said I was the fourth god you contacted and said you were looking for Demorshia ever since then I had fallen head over heels for you.”

“Um, you know I'm nine years old.”

“And I'm six hundred and fifty million years old. What's your point?”

“Isn't it probably frowned upon by the other gods to be betrothed to such a young age?”

“Nonsense, the other goddesses are jealous that you chose me.”

“What do you mean I chose you?”

“You're the one who proposed the engagement, dear.”

Zero shocked by this revelation could only blame his past self.

“Demorshia, do you know why I keep losing my memories?”

“Of course.”

“Could you tell me?”

“No, it's strictly against the rules.”

“What rules?”

“Your rules.”

“My rules? Wait, I'm the reason why you're obsessed with me but then I made rules for you to follow. I'm my worst enemy. I already hate the past me.”

“You shouldn’t dear you were the strongest of all. You rivaled gods and legends alike.”

“Let me guess you can’t tell me who.”

“Nope actually I don't think I was supposed to say that.”

Demorshia, looking worried, summoned a black leather bound book. She quickly read through the pages, till finally giving a sigh of relief.

“Ok I was able to say that.”

Zero looked at the book. It was pure black with an hourglass shaped into a cross. Demorshia looked at Zero in confusion to quickly realize her mistake. She hurriedly made the book disappear. Zero with a horrible feeling.

“Was that the rule book I left you?”

Demorshia not knowing how to answer.

“If it was, it doesn't matter.”

Zero was utterly devastated. Suddenly Zero’s head started to ache and bang. Zero fell down to his knees in pain.

“Oh it would seem our time is up dear. I’ll leave you one final piece of advice: don't trust Ms. Xander.”

With Demorshia’s final warning Zero’s vision was full of nothing but a bright light as his eyes adjusted he was in the arms of Ms. Xander helping him stay up from where he collapsed. Seeing Zero’s eyes open Ms. Xander was revealed.

“Zero your back are you ok?”

Zero was relieved to see Ms. Xander was smiling and then he was hit with the last words of Demorshia: Don't trust Ms. Xander. Zero got himself up and quickly ran out of the room. Ms. Xander walked out to the hall and called after Zero. As Zero was running he was pulled to the side into an empty room by someone. Zero looked next to him and saw the kid that ran out that said he was gonna tell them about Zero’s divine talk. Zero was about to gasp when the kid covered his mouth.

“Heyo, don't say anything or make a noise.”

Zero was confused until he heard a terrifying noise, a scraping noise scratching against the ground, a horrible sound. A voice called out for Zero, it was Ms. Xander’s but, it sounded more aggressive and angry. Zero looked at the room he was in and noticed all the kids were hiding in the room with them. Sierrna came up to Zero and hugged him and then gave him a little device. She then had one herself and put it in her ear. She then motioned for Zero to do the same he did. After Zero put the device in his ear a video started to play in front of his eyes it was a video of Sierrna, Hello students my name is Sierrna, a couple days ago Ms. Xander went missing and she returned suddenly but something was different. She wasn't the same person we knew. I did some research on legends and discovered unfortunate information. A long time ago there was a creature that could take the form of the person it eats, the way to tell is hard as the person eating is completely absorbed there looks personality and even memories but, there's one thing that can make it be possible to figure it out the creature will be more hostile and only give attention to a single individual. Originally it was impossible to tell what kind of people, until recently during an investigation report from Leo Dynosian, the target of the creature are people who can have divine talks or are chosen by the gods. After confirming this I had enough evidence, everyday I slowly helped students transfer out of the class. The creature had no problem until I tried to move Zero. With that I knew I had to do something so with my brother and the help of the students we formed a plan we called the UDF and lured the creature to expose itself. This is where you come in Zero, you have to lure the creature outside the building. I gave you a device where we can talk through it. A robotic voice could be heard, Message over would you like to replay? After a while the voice continued, No response was received and the message will not play again thank you for using the D-Device. After the message played Zero took in all he heard and then realized what he had to do. I looked around the room terrified kids feared for their life and I braced myself to protect them.

Wait, why do I want to protect them?

No, I don't care about the others, just Sierrna.

I breathed in and out and prepared to burst out the door. As soon as the creature passes the door a couple of feet. I’ll blast out the door and head towards the exit.

The creature started to pass the door and Zero gripped the handle to the door trebleming. Zero slowly counted down and bursted through the door. The creature hearing this immediately turned around and started chasing Zero. Zero ran straight through the hall as he ran he heard a familiar voice in his ear.

“Zero, can you hear me?”

“Sierrna?”

“Yup, good to know that I fixed the radius of the D-Device. Anyway, let's skip the explanation your coming up on a split path, take the left way at the intersection, don't take any other way or you'll get trapped and cornered.”

Zero came to the spillway and turned left following Sierrna’s directions. He ended up seeing a wall in front of him ahead.

Um, Sierrna there's a wall ahead of me.

It’s not real, just keep running. Just trust me Zero

Zero believed Sierrna and ran full speed putting his arms up his heart beating faster as he approached the wall, He ran through the wall and on the other end the entire building changed it no longer looked like a school but more like a secret facility, cameras and what looked like gun turrets were all over. The walls looked like metal as Zero ran forward he could hear the creature scream his name and then he heard the sound of the turrets firing. Sierrna was tracking Zero’s movement with the building's layout.

“Zero you'll come across a chamber with a bunch of tubes and pipes with liquid coming through them. The center will have something that will shock you but I promise I'll explain later you need to break the center tube to escape.”

Zero trusting Sierrna believed in her words till the end. Zero reached a huge open room like she said a weird red liquid was flowing through all the tubes, hundreds of computers and holo screens could be seen the closer Zero got to the center. As Zero approached the center he couldn't believe his eyes, three giant tubes, no pod-like things could be seen, all the tubes and pipes counted to them. In the pod-like objects were three people, one in each of them.

What? Why are we in there?

Zero was looking directly at himself in a comatose state next to him was Sierrna and the other boy who grabbed him and pulled him into the door.

“Zero!! I tell you later you need to break the pods now! I promise you will be fine-blargh.”

Zero heard Sierrna almost throw up on the other end. Then Zero heard and saw a terrible sight. The creature behind him was nothing more than a horrible sight, a pure grey color with a huge tail in the shape of a spear with two sharp arms like swords and feet with nail-like features on the bottom. On the tail was a dreadful sight, Zero started to panic and breathe heavily. When finally comprehended what was there he started to feel nothing but rage and anger hanging there for the tip of the spearlike tail was Sierrna stabbed straight through the heart. The creature threw Sierrna’s lifeless body straight toward the wall. The creature then started to transform into a young girl. It was Sierrna.

“It’s ok Zero I got rid of the creature.”

Sierrna started to approach the shocked and traumatized Zero. Sierrna reached Zero and hugged him tightly.

“It’s ok, it'll be over quickly.”

As she said that her spearlike tail started to appear and went to stab them both straight through each other's body. Zero jumped back not by choice but instinct. The creature annoyed at this looked at Zero and started to insult him.

“Why can’t you just be good and die, quit moving around.”

The creature kept trying to attack Zero but. He kept dodging effortlessly.

“I killed those uselesses kids, especially the blue haired demon. She was so helpless it was too easy to kill her. She was worthless.” The creature still using Sierrna’s body smiled.

The last remarks were the final straw Zero snapped. Zero looked at the creature and declared an outrageous claim.

“This is the last time you will draw breath.” Zero started to run towards the creature. The creature started to run and transform into to its real form it went to slice at Zero but it was to slow Zero grabbed the top of the arm of the creature and with an outstanding feat of strength lifted the creature and threw the creature into the first podlike object spilling all the red fluid everywhere and the body inside came flowing out. The creature was stunned and realized it was no longer the predator as it looked at Zero. Zero had the look of a madman who would stop it with nothing to end it. The creature started to fight back and took a defence stance. Zero smiled at it. He then started to ascend into the sky and the area around him started to break into little spikes that were flashing all kinds of colors, he launched all the spikes into the creature. He pelted the creature over and over as the creature tried its best to avoid the barrage. There was a camera that watched this all unfold. On the other end of the camera was a man who was very upset and what he saw he stood up for his desk and tried to leave.

“We have to go save her now.”

“No”

A man blocked him with a stern expression and a stance.

“Why not? Stand down. That is an order.”

“No you wanted to see him with his true power you'll watch now, this is your doing.”

“I understand but-”

“No, you knew the risk and I tried to warn you. You didn't listen to me. Now you'll watch the consequences.”

The man watched in horror as Zero started to pin the creature down and headed towards it. Zero was standing over the creature and grabbed its tail and ripped it off.

“Viltro please let me save her.”

“No.”

“Viltro, please save her. I'll do anything.”

“Move on from the experiment and I'll save her.”

“Fine I agree, please save her.”

The man called Viltro left the room and appeared on the camera entering from walking through a wall. Zero saw the man enter and smiled.

“Viltro, it's been a while.”
“You're no longer Zero are you?”

“What gave it away?”

“I'm sorry but I'm here to put you down.”

“You can try old man.”

Zero and the man called Viltro started to fight. Zero started to launch his spike-like objects at Viltro. Viltro just walked slowly and calmly as he was pelted over and over by Zero’s onslaught. Viltro unfazed by his attacks, Zero changed his target and started to attack the creature again, Viltro moved quicker than he could see and he was standing in front of the creature defending the creature over and over. Viltro was now stuck in an endless defending stance. It lasted many minutes, anytime viltro tried to gain ground he was forced back to defend the creature. The creature finally realizes this, looks at viltro and speaks.

“You can’t defend me and stop him, we can’t let him fully remember if he does it’s over Viltro.”

“Forgive me, I know I won't.”

Viltro lowered his sword and left the creature defenseless, he then approached Zero and then he attacked. In a blink of an eye Viltro was standing behind Zero and punched Zero’s head clean off his Neck.

The whole world is upside down? Wait is that my body. He chopped my head off. I guess this is it then I'm dying. Why did it end this way? Why did she die? It was in an instant the darkness was overtaking my sense this must be it goodbye.

Viltro landed down and looked a little sad.

“This is Viltro Test, subject thirty three is down I repeat subject thirty three is deceased.”

A familiar female voice filled Zero’s head?

“Oh well, that was unfortunate.”

“Huh, Demorshia?”

“Yes dear?”

“What happened?”

“Viltro killed you.”

“Then how am I alive?”

“Oh that wasn't the real you.”

“What?”

“Oh it seems you're waking up again, you'll forget the event don’t worry.”

Zero’s vision began to be filled with light till finally it blinded him. He opened his eyes to be in the same classroom, with a familiar face staring at him.

“You ok Zero?” Sierrna asked.

“Heyo quit making my sis worry.” The boy said.

Zero saw in front of him Sierrna and the boy from before.

Zero grabbed and hugged Sierrna with tears in his eyes. Sierrna caught off guard was blushing not knowing what to do.

“Zero it's ok i'm still here you act like i died.”

“Heyo no love for me huh Zero?”

Zero looked at the kid puzzled.

“Oh no freaking way you forgot me but, not her. Oh well my name is Rykar and im Sierrna’s brother.”

Rykar smiled at Zero. Zero smiled back.

“Nice to meet you again Rykar.”

“Heyo no problem but, it better be the last time I introduce myself to you Zero.”

Zero, Sierrna and Rykar were talking and catching up when suddenly Zero heard a very disturbing voice. He looked towards the front of the classroom and saw Ms. Xander in a wheelchair.

“Hello Zero, please do not fear I will no longer try what I did. Only you and I can remember what happened so please don’t make the others confused.”

Sierrna and Rykar were puzzled. Zero made up something.

“She’s talking about something that happened on my school work. It's nothing to worry about.”

“Oh ok if you say so Zero” Sierrna said, still skeptical.

Ms. Xander rolled over to her desk and started the lesson, it was the same lesson about the order and new laws. Zero spaced out and didn't pay attention. Instead he looked around the room and noticed something strange: the poster with the rules from before was gone. That wasn’t the only difference the whole school seemed off. Zero then looked toward the window and saw something that caught his eye, a person hovering in the sky looking down at the school. Zero pointed it out to Ms. Xander.

“Um, Ms. Xander, there's someone flying over the school.”

“Yeah right Zero I know what just happened was strange but im not dumb.”

Zero looked back at the window and the person was gone. He heard a crashing sound, he looked at the front of the class and the person that was flying was now standing in front of him with the rubble from the wall. The person was clouded in complete darkness. Ms. Xander immediately threw something towards Zero and signaled everyone to run away. Zero got up and started to run, but he couldn't. He was impaled by the shadowed person.

Zero started to lose his senses and his eyes started to close, the darkness filled his vision. He heard a familiar voice.

“Wow, that was faster than any of the others.”

Zero opened his eyes and saw Demorshia sitting on the throne she made appear staring at Zero.

“What happened?” Zero asked.

“You were killed again.”

“How am i alive?”

“I told you that you didn't really die.”

“What do you mean by that none of this makes sense!”

“I understand your pain and frustration. It’s almost over.”

“How many times am I gonna keep dying?”

“In this world no one knows.”

“Who was that person?”

“I actually don’t know. That person shouldnt exist till later which is not good. I assume he will appear again so you need to have Ms. Xander give you the device before he appears or you’ll die again.”

“A device?”

Zero thinks back and remembers Ms. Xander tried to throw something at him.

“If I do get the device what then?”

“Use it. It looks like our time is up again. Good luck dear.”

Zero’s vision starts to get blinded by a bright light and he opens his eyes to being in the classroom again. Sierrna and Rykar are where they were last time. Zero wastes no time and runs up to Ms. Xander.

“Ms. Xander I need that device, you threw it to me last time before that shadowed person showed up.”

“What are you talking about Zero? Nevermind only you and me know what happened. I won't try to do that again so please don’t make them confused.”

Zero fell down to his knees and then got back up and grabbed Sierrna’s hand and ran out the class.

“Where are we going Zero?” Sierrna asked.

Zero didn't respond and kept running till Sierrna broke free.

“We need to go now before he shows u- blargh.” Zero coughed up blood.

Sierrna covered her mouth in horror. Zero was impaled again by the Shadowed person. Zero’s Vision started to go pitch black as he lost all his senses. He once again was woken up by a familiar goddess’s voice.

“That was even quicker dear. You know you're supposed to survive.”

Zero was still stunned and immediately had phantom pains of him being stabbed through the stomach. He grabbed his stomach with terrified eyes. Demorshia approached him and embraced him and rubbed his hair.

“It’s ok dear none of that is real.”

Zero finally calmed down.

“How do I get her to give me the device?”

Demorshia didn’t say anything.

Zero’s eyes were filled with a blinding light and he once again woke up in the classroom. Zero immediately headed towards Ms. Xander. He didn't ask for it this time he started to ransack her desk looking for the device. As he dug through the desk he finally found it. It was a D-Device he put in his ear. As soon as he did the entire world froze.

“Hello, can anyone hear me? Zero asked.

“Yes I can, who is this?

“My name is Zero and Ms. Xander told me to use this.

“What is happening inside there?”

Inside there? Why didn't they ask what's happening here?

“There's a shadowed person that keeps showing up and is kil- blargh.” Zero threw up blood he once again impaled. As he lost his senses he heard the person on the other side.

“What happened, are you ok? If you can hear me, tell ms. Xander…”

Zero’s eyes were filled with a blinding light and he awakens in the classroom again. He ran towards the desk and grabbed the D-Device again.

“Please help, he's killing me over and over!!!!”

Zero waited a few till he heard the same noise he heard before he died throwing up blood.

On the other side of the D-Device a person in a lab coat in a small run starts to get up and runs out towards a hallway and runs through it as fast as possible and arrives at a double door room and opens it. Standing in the room is the Viltro and the person who was watching on the cameras.

Sir we have an Emergency.

“What is it?”

“Subject Zero keeps trying to talk on the D-Device.”

“What did he say!”

“I sent you the voice recordings.”

Viltro and the other two listen to the recording.

“My name is Zero. A shadowed person keeps showing up and killing me. Please help, he's killing me!!!”

Viltro immediately looked at the other two.

“I told you to end the experiment. Viltro grabbed the man who was watching the cameras by his shirt and lifted him up.”

“We tried to but something won’t let us end it.”

“No it’s not something, it's someone and I know who.”

“What do you mean Viltro?”

“It’s the one you wanted to see.”

“You mean the reason the test isn't working.” The man said.

“Is because he was repairing himself and now he's gonna take over Zero’s body.”

The camera man still held up by Viltro was lost in thought and finally said something.

“Pull it, Kill subject Zero.”

Viltro was enraged by that and threw the man into a desk. Viltro walked over to the man he threw and picked him up by his leg and lifted him up.

“If you dare to kill Zero I won’t hesitate to destroy this entire facility, do i make myself clear Zales?”

“Yes yes I understand. But how do we deal with the urgent matter and would you please let me go.”

Viltro let Zales go. Zales fell on his face. Zales stood up and brushed himself off.

“Will use this.” Viltro said while pulling out a vial with a crimson color and labeled V-001.

Zales was shocked.

“You really are gonna risk it all. That's the last one in history.”

“Yes I know I've kept it all this time for this moment. Now please make the preparations.”

“Right away, you! Go quickly prepare the operations for transfusion.” Zales ordered the other scientist. The scientist quickly left and headed out the room.

Viltro and Zales followed shortly after and exited the room and entered a giant hallway which led to the same room Zero encountered. In the center were three giant pod-like structures. Viltro approached the center pod, he wiped away the condensation on the tank to reveal Zero floating in the center with a bunch of tubes connected to keep him alive. Viltro then headed to a computer next to the tank and clicked a button that opened up to reveal a place to put the vial. He put the vial in the compartment and hit the button again and looked towards the tank. One of the tubes connected to Zero started to glow a crimson color as the fluid was flowing into Zero. Viltro then walked to another computer which displayed the vitals of Zero.

Zales then sat down at a computer and typed into the system.

“With the help of what you did, Viltro, I've also ordered Agent Xander to immediately help Zero.”

“Good, make sure he can escape.”

Beep beep.

“What’s going on?”

“This isn't good. Oh no, divert all available fluids to Zero immediately.”

“Zales what's happening?”

“His body is rejecting the serum. No he’s not he is.”

Viltro looked towards the tank with hatred in his eyes. Viltro with as little strength as he could punched the ground made a decent sized hole.

“I'm sorry, I'll fix it right away.”

Viltro lifted his hand and repaired the hole.

“Zales, is there any way to get him out of there?”

“The only choice is to take the emergency built-in exit.”

“Where is it?”

“It’s located- oh no.”

“What?”

“It’s at the church of Demorshia.”

“Ok what’s so bad about that.”

“Since our goal was to keep him there we built a sort of guardian.”

“Ok, that shouldn't be a problem.”

“Yes normally you're right but, to make extra sure because of his power the guardian is far more fearsome than our usuals.”

“Zales don’t tell me.”

“That’s right, the guardian is Jeremiah.”

“Please tell me that you have another exit he can reach.”

“No, not in the amount of time we bought. His only hope is the church.”

“Then we have no choice. Unlock his memories of battling.” Viltro made it apparent it was their only choice.

“But, that will-”

“It doesn't matter Zales if he dies it won't matter.”

“Your right ok, all personally unlock all battle related memories to subject Zero immediately this is an emergency.”

Viltro looked at the tank one final time. Everyone in the room turned on the surveillance to watch Zero as the fight for his life began.

It’s up to you now Zero survive.

“Zero Zero Zero!!!!”

Zero was spacing out, being yelled at by Sierrna.

“Oh I'm sorry, what was it?”

“You were just screaming that we have to go then you just stopped.”

Zero was thinking and then suddenly was hit with unbearable pain. He fell out of his chair.

“Zero!”

“Heyo Zero!”

“It’s ok Sierrna, Rykar.” Ms.Xander reassured them and she approached Zero.

Zero still in pain looked up at them.

“What’s happening to me?”

“They are giving you back your memories. We don’t have much time we need to get to the church, it's not far. Sierrna stop acting like you're surprised.” Ms. Xander informed them.

Zero and Rykar were confused and looked at her.

“So when did you notice?” Sierrna asked.

“What, when you hacked us to change certain events and learn info?”

“So you knew all along then?”

“Yes, but you still were playing along so we didn't mind. We need your help to hack and get the church scenario to start.”

“Sure, I'll get on it right now.” Sierrna said, and then a holo screen appeared in front of her and she started to tinker and write code.

Suddenly the wall to the outside of the school was busted open, there hovering was the shadowed figure.

“I can’t have you take him away from me.” The figure spoke and then lunged towards Sierrna. Ms. Xander transformed and engaged the Shadowed figure.

“I'll hold him off Sierrna please get away and finish loading the scenario.”

Ms.Xander said. While using her bladed arms to counter the shadowed figure swords. Zero still in pain on the ground looked on helplessly as the battle unfolded. Sierrna started working faster and faster, digging through the code to try and find the startup code. Rykar was on the ground in fear. Zero then heard Demorshia’s voice.

Zero summon me. Use me, use our bond.

Zero’s stopped being inflicted in pain. As Ms.Xander was thrown into a wall and the shadowed figure lunged to finish her off, Zero got up and kicked the figure the opposite direction. He then used his arm and reached out and shouted.

“Come to me, Demorshia!!!”

Hundreds of bright lights started to form and surround Zero’s hand and Sword started to form from the light. A blade with a green hue colored hilt with the shiniest blade. Zero took a one handed sword stance and prepared to fight the figure. The figure quickly recovered from the kick and now rushed Zero. Zero dodge and countered every attack effortlessly. The others watched in amazement at how easily Zero had the upper hand against the assailant. The shadowed figure backed off and then summoned more swords that hovered around him. He then pursued Zero with all the swords. Zero fought off the swords as the figure went for his blind spot and went for it. The figure stabbed Zero right in his chest. The figure gave a smile but it quickly faded away. Zero, still defending against the other swords, used his other hand to pull the figure's sword out and wiped the blood off and then started to use it against the figure. The figure was now on the defensive. The figure and Zero battled over and over. Everytime the figure thought they found a way to counter Zero. Zero would counter the figure. Ms. Xander was watching as she Shielded Rykar and Sierrna from stray swings. Sierrna finally shouted.

“I got it. It’s ready.”

The figure immediately went for Sierrna and avoided Zero.

Ms. Xander jumped in front of the blade. She threw up blood and then gave her final breath.

“Please don’t die, kids.”

Sierrna activated the code and suddenly the entire area changed. The classroom disappeared and in its place appeared a big building with a black fence and graves all around. A calming atmosphere. The figure disappeared. The body of Ms. Xander also vanished. Zero and the others were also now wearing formal wear. Sierrna looked around then back at the code. After a while of searching she turned around to face Zero and Rykar.

“We did it, we made it to the church and I don't think that person can follow u- blargh.”

Sierrna coughed up blood and her eyes went lifeless. She fell face first. Zero and Rykar looked around but didn't see anyone. Rykar started to head over to his now dead sister, he bent down and started to cry then stopped abruptly. Zero looked and didn’t see tears falling down but instead, blood as he watched Rykar throw up blood on Sierrna as he fell down over his sister. Zero looked in horror as they lay there lifeless. He then heard the door to the church open. A tall man with black hair and one small fang, holding a black leathered bound book approached him.

“Do not weep for they were not mentioned in my book so I killed them.”

Zero hearing this immediately went to attack the figure with all his might he swung the sword he got from the shadowed figure. The person caught it with two fingers and snapped it. The figure then used his knee to hit the airborne Zero, sending him flying back.

“It’s very rude to interrupt someone while they're talking.”

Zero fell on the ground and rolled a little. He tried to get up off the ground and then coughed into his hand. When he looked at his hand it was blood he had coughed up.

“My name is Jeremiah and I am the guardian of this exit. You will not pass this place, return to the original Scenario or I will send you there myself.”

Zero got back on his feet and now was standing far away from Jeremiah, he then looked up and saw the shadowed figure show up and attempt to kill Zero from behind. Zero didn't have time to react, it was over he lost. As Zero gave up hope the figure just stopped falling towards Zero. It was like he was trapped in the air. He then looked over at Jeremiah and saw he had a hand up. The figure was slowly being brought to Jeremiah, when the figure finally was in the range Jeremiah grabbed him, pointed him upwards and then touched his stomach and whispered something and then sent him flying into the sky. As the figure ascended into the sky Zero could see a black object slowly forming till finally it exploded. An intense wave could be felt, the blast alone made Zero fall and then he noticed everything started to start heading towards the sky. Zero looked at it in horror as he finally realized what the object was. It was a black hole Jeremiah created a black hole as it ripped apart everything in its path as it still ascended upwards it slowly finally grew to the size to over take the sun. Jeremiah then looked over towards Zero with a murderous intent. Zero summoned Demorshia and prepared for the hardest fight of his life. Jeremiah was so fast that in a blink of an eye he was behind Zero. Zero dodged the fist Jeremiah threw but barely. Zero was sent flying back despite dodging and making a cut on his cheek.

What, I dodged? How did I get cut?

Zero can you hear me?

Yes Goddess?

That man uses the power of gravity so despite you dodging you'll still get hit.

Ok, how do I beat him?

You can’t just buy time.

Zero took a defence stance, Jeremiah rushed towards Zero breaking through his stance hitting him sending him flying into the church. Zero flew till hitting one of the giant columns imprinting his body’s impact and then slowly falling onto the ground. Jeremiah gave no time for respite as he immediately followed up and kicked Zero straight through the column sending him flying into another one. With the impact Zero spit up blood. Once again as Zero fell Jeremiah continued his assault of the young boy beating him over and over. Jeremiah hit Zero one last time before Zero finally let go of the sword. Zero fell down and his eyes closed as he fell.

“You did it Zero, you're gonna be ok.”

Zero was confused by the voice and looked over and could only see the silhouette of a figure as he drifted off into a deep sleep. Jeremiah looked at the new figure.

“Who are you?” Jeremiah asked.

“My name is Viltro, and I've come to free them from you.”

Jeremiah chuckled.
