OVERVIEW OF BBV

  "From the files, we got the information that says the BBV is a bacterium that forms and takes root in the body. In the flu stage is where it is most contagious . It can spread through sweat, saliva, and intercourse . It is untraceable outside the body. But a key sign is a flu with a high fever.

Stage 1, also known as the false flu:
Symptoms include a high fever that reaches up to 39.5°C and higher , coughing and congestion , dry cough, and upper respiratory symptoms. The host often feels fatigued and experiences extreme exhaustion along with severe muscle and joint pain.
The virus rapidly replicates in the host's body, causing a shedding of fluids through saliva, sweat, and other bodily fluids. It's quite a miserable feeling for the host.

Stage 2, also known as the crimson warning :
This lasts from 2 days to a week, depending on the host. It causes the host to feel internal burning , indicating that the virus has moved into the bloodstream and is beginning to spread. The burning is mostly felt in the internal organs and abdomen.
With that comes petechiae, red or purple spots around the chest, arms , and face. The spots are a sign that there are tiny bursts of capillaries just below the skin's surface, indicating that the blood vessels are damaged.

Stage 3, also called the sanguine breakdown :
The host is now in a life-threatening crisis, and the victim is degrading rapidly. Blood begins to seep from all mucous membranes. This also has the side effect of mental fog.
With that comes what I would call the crimson mask. The body is covered in massive patches of bruises and internal bleeding. This may occur on the face and torso as larger blood vessels hemorrhage just beneath the skin. After that, the liver and kidneys are rapidly failing. The virus has fundamentally compromised the vessels, making them brittle and porous. The blood itself is losing platelets and clotting factors, creating a lethal combination of a burst pipe and a broken repair kit.

Stage 4: the blood burst.
Symptoms: the final, catastrophic stage leading to death."

From what Tama said, this virus is worse than anything that was ever recorded in my past life. But what shocks me more is the level of intelligence Tama's dad has. I wonder if he transmigrated here and was some great doctor from my world. He may have been Japanese as well. Tama learned a lot from him. If it wasn't for her, I would not understand half the stuff written there. I died before finishing high school, so I'm not the best in terms of biology.

       "He used to go out a lot. He was what you'd call a traveler. Mom used to worry, but Dad used to come home. When I was growing up, he seemed to have put a lot of information in my head regarding his work. I was invested in it as well. My mom was the one who taught me how to cook. After staying with us for 30 years, Dad said he wanted to go on one last trip. That time, Mom went with him, and they left me here. Dad was friends with Silvaren, so he accepted me as a maid. A few years later, it was discovered that they died in a snowstorm."

" I'm sorry for your loss."

        " It's fine . After all, I have you to live for."

Rukito finally received word about the foreigners. They sadly died after returning. The king sent word saying that someone contaminated the water supply on that side. Due to the royal family having a different source, they were safe. But the country is now in a panic. They suspect that someone purposefully did this and apologize on behalf of the foreigners, as they never intended for the virus to spread here. If they had known, they would have never sent them, but the king caught wind of the virus too late. Rukito sends a letter back saying it's fine. He tells the king that he will offer the cure if he agrees to the vassal state proposal.  

At this moment, we are doing our best to prevent casualties, but the death rate is still not going down. Children are having it worse, as their immune systems are much weaker. The cure can only treat people who are below the 3rd stage, as past stage 3 is a no-return road to death. Thankfully, all my servants get treatment. But this is affecting the humans more. There have been 50 deaths in total, and 45 were kids. Even with the mask law, some people are ignorant; all I can do now is pray that the people recover fast.

6 months later, most of the virus is gone from the country. Tama, along with a few others, came together to develop a vaccine that has become mandatory to take. This vaccine strengthens the cells and antibodies to prevent the virus from spreading. It also lowers the risk of future infections. Tama speculates that in a year's time, the virus should fully die down in the country. With the cure Tama's dad made and the vaccine they created , 80% of the population was saved.

After the investigation, they found that someone had spread the virus. Upon interrogation, the culprit self-destructed. It is suspected that the perpetrator was a demon that took possession of that human. It is unclear how the demon got there , but this is a bad sign.   

From the report , this confirms that what I did loosened the seal. One escaped now and caused such a mess in the world. If we can't find and strengthen the seal, the world may once again be in chaos. Silvaren should know the location of the seal. With that , I may be able to put another seal on it, but I'm not confident it will last long; however, it should give us enough time.
