Chapter 2:
Earth Book 1 : The Light Of Chaos no. 4 [Earth 29]
"Good thing I'm close to King Ace, so Norviel can meet Dylan without any problems," said Alex, who had VIP access.
"That's good. Please teach Norviel martial arts, Alex..." Kaino said flatly.
"Got it, bro..." Alex understood. The next morning, Norviel looked excited, unable to wait to go to England.
"Sister Alex!" Norviel said excitedly.
"Yes, be patient," said Alex, understanding Norviel's excitement. Naki was seen creating a portal to England.
"Be careful," said Naki in his flat voice, which sounded rare.
"Wait, did bro just say 'be careful'...?" Neo asked, confused and feeling like the world was upside down.
At the Alison residence.
"Wow, your house is so nice, Sis!" said Norviel happily, wandering around everywhere.
"Norviel, come here. I'll show you your room," said Alex, walking with Norviel following behind her.
"This is your room..." Alex stopped in front of a spacious room.
The next morning, at the British royal residence.
"Wow, who is this, Alex?" asked King Ace, looking at the small child, Norviel.
"My name is Norviel Lewis Ackerlan," Norviel introduced himself.
"Wow, you're a sweet child, with hair similar to Alex's," Ace greeted him gently.
"How old are you, Norviel?" King Ace asked softly.
"I'm 5 years old," Norviel said cutely.
"Wow, the same age as Dylan," King Ace said gently.
"Father, I'm bored," Dylan appeared, and in Norviel's eyes, Dylan was very captivating. 'He's really handsome...' Norviel thought, staring at Dylan.
"Dylan, this is Norviel Lewis Ackerlan, Uncle Alex's little brother," King Ace introduced Norviel to his son.
"Oh... Norviel," Dylan said, uninterested.
"Dylan, show Norviel around, okay?" said King Ace gently.
"Fine," Dylan said lazily and walked off, followed by Norviel.
"Wow, this garden is huge," Norviel admired.
"Of course it's huge," Dylan said proudly. Suddenly, a pretty girl approached Dylan.
"Hi, Dylan," said the pretty girl.
"Hi to you too, Charlotte," Dylan said with a blushing look. 'Oh... so it's Charlotte,' Norviel thought, with a normal expression, but inside, he hated the girl named Charlotte.
That night, in an empty building. Norviel was cleaning up any traces, washing his hands and his cutter of Charlotte's blood.
"Dylan is only for me, not for anyone else," Norviel said with his obsessive gaze fixed on the thought of Dylan.
"Dylan is only mine, Charlotte," Norviel finished cleaning up any traces to avoid getting caught.
"Hahahhh..." Norviel's laughter sounded insane as he walked out of the empty building, imagining Dylan.
"Where have you been, kiddo... it's still the middle of the night?" asked Alex, annoyed that Norviel had just come home.
"I was out buying food, Sis. A burger, I wanted to try it, but the line was long," Norviel said, showing a photo of a long queue.
"Wow... you bought a burger, no wonder," said Alex, not suspecting Norviel.
"This is for you, Sis," Norviel offered one of the burgers he bought.
"Wow, thank you, Norviel," Alex took the burger and ate it.
In Norviel's room.
"Hmm, I wonder what Dylan is doing?" he said softly, curious about Dylan's activities. Suddenly, an unknown number called him.
"Hello?" Norviel answered the call from the stranger.
"Nor... it's me," Dylan said casually.
"Oh, Dylan... what's up?" asked Norviel, seemingly thinking about something. 'Is it about Charlotte? He must be thinking about the last time Charlotte was with me,' Norviel thought, considering an answer and all possibilities.
"Do you know where Charlotte is?" Dylan asked, as predicted.
"Not sure. Haven't you tried asking her family?" Norviel asked, sounding unsuspicious.
"Her family said she just went out for a little while, but it's taking so long," Dylan explained.
"Want me to help look?" Norviel offered naturally.
"Yeah, please, come with Uncle Alex," Dylan said, worried about Charlotte. 'What is it you like about Charlotte anyway? Her prettiness? Her beautiful hair? Her charming dresses? Or her eyes like a beautiful ocean?' Norviel thought, gripping a glass so hard it shattered into pieces.
"So we'll split up?" King Ace informed them of the routes to be taken. Dylan and Norviel were not allowed to go; they were forbidden because they were still children. Dylan looked worried about Charlotte.
"Dylan, I know you're worried, but you need to calm down first," Norviel said naturally, while acting. 'Come on, act,' Norviel thought.
"You don't know what it feels like to lose someone, Norviel," Dylan said, getting straight to the point.
"Oh? Have you ever felt your mother and two older sisters murdered before your eyes, and you couldn't do anything about it...?" Norviel said, slightly annoyed by Dylan's words.
"W-what?" Dylan asked with a look of pity.
"Listen... I come from a broken family, with a poor economic situation, a father who gambles and drinks. You don't know what it's like to lose sisters killed for gambling money, do you? So I understand why you're so worried about Charlotte. She's very precious to you...." Norviel explained in a natural and sympathetic tone.
"I-I'm sorry, Norviel. I didn't know," Dylan understood and felt guilty.
"It's okay... it's a normal thing," Norviel said understandingly, and was immediately hugged by Dylan.
"She is so precious to me, Norviel. She's everything," Dylan said sadly.
"Huh, I know. Go ahead, cry as much as you want," Norviel said warmly. 'Charlotte is just a snot-nosed kid who only knows how to flaunt her wealth. You don't know her bad side yet. She secretly steals King Ace's money, and her family takes advantage of King Ace's kindness. Just watch... I will expose all of it.... Hmmm... Poor Dylan, I will protect you from anyone. And you are only mine... only mine, and forever you will be mine, Dylan,' Norviel thought, returning Dylan's hug and comforting him with a terrifying grin.
Suddenly, Norviel's phone rang. It was Sister Alex calling.
"Yeah... Sis?" Norviel answered Alex's call.
"Norviel, tell Dylan that... Charlotte is dead," Alex said with a voice that sounded sad.
"O-okay, Sis," Norviel said with a face saddened by the loss of Charlotte.
"Dylan... Charlotte is gone..." Norviel said softly.
"W-what!" Dylan panicked and cried even more. 'Sorry, Dylan, but... Charlotte was in my way,' Norviel thought, still acting, while comforting the crying Dylan.
"You know what, kiddo... there weren't any traces at all at the crime scene. Charlotte's body was wrapped in a large cardboard box, skinned, with her head severed," said Alex, puzzled by Charlotte's murder case.
"Eww, that's disgusting. But how could there be no traces, Sis?" asked Norviel, confused and wanting to know.
"Yeah, the crime scene was super clean, like there wasn't a single stain... I even commanded 11 famous detectives, and they found nothing. There was only the cardboard box containing Charlotte's body parts," said Alex, baffled.
