A cold voice sliced through the clash between Nokia and Walker, halting their fight mid-breath.

“Tsk…” Walker groaned, lowering his weapon reluctantly.

“There’s thousands of aura on the line. This is beneath you.”

From the shadows, a man with an icy presence emerged, placing a steady hand on Walker’s gun as it dipped.

“Cyro,” Walker muttered. “So you’re here.”

“We can’t let this guy farm off us,” Cyro said, as he spoke his voice was cold like ice cracking on glass. “It’ll only do us more harm than good.”

“Farm off of us?” Walker turned, confused, glancing at Nokia.

“…So he knows,” Nokia thought, locking eyes with Cyro.

Through Cyro’s piercing white eyes and frigid blue hair, Nokia felt an eerie aura that was both calming and suffocating. A sinister malice that wrapped itself in ice.

“Let’s not say any more in front of his chat,” Cyro added. “We’ve already given him enough clout for today.”

“Nice, I leveled up!” Nokia thought.

But before he could scroll further, Cyro’s gaze landed on him.

“What the hell…?” Nokia gasped.

Frost began forming on the tips of his hair, the chill seeping down his scalp. His fingers trembled involuntarily.

“This guy’s so cold…” Nokia thought. “Even just looking at him applies a debuff? And he knows about my aura farming? Just what the hell is with this guy’s eyes?”

“You there… Level 3.” Cyro’s cold voice echoed through the cavern. Without even turning his body, his eyes shifted toward Nokia.
“Or should I say… Level 4.”

“Yeh,” Nokia replied evenly, meeting his gaze without hesitation.

“I’ll be very interested to see what you can do in there,” Cyro said, his tone calm but edged with menace. “I have no grudge against you… but if you get in my way—”

He clenched his fist.

CRACK!

In the distance, players froze mid-sip as the drinks in their hands turned solid, ice crawling up the glass. A second later—

SHATTER!

Every cup in the venue exploded at once, shards scattering across the air like frozen fireworks.

“I’ll kill you.” Cyro’s words hung heavy, but Nokia’s expression didn’t waver.

Cyro turned and walked away, frost trailing in his wake. Walker followed behind him, pausing only to glance back at Nokia.

He raised his gun playfully, faking a shot before lowering it again sending Nokia a message.

The duo vanished into the cavern’s shadows.

Nokia glanced at Dodo, voice calm and steady. “Big wigs like that just walk around here?”
“That’s right,” Dodo replied, summoning a glowing interface with a flick of her hand. “There’s even a leaderboard.”

A translucent screen unfolded in the air, names and levels scrolling in dazzling neon.

“Kaiyra …” Nokia said, scratching his chin. “Interesting.”

“He’s a Level 30 Influencer,” Dodo explained. “Pretty well known around here.”

“And the lowest level?” Nokia asked.

Dodo hesitated. “That’d be me… followed by you.”

Nokia studied the glowing leaderboard. “Hmm. Lowest besides us is Level 10.”

“That’s right.” Dodo nodded. “And there’s a reason for that.”

“Why?” 

“Level 10 is when an influencer unlocks their class.”

“Class? Haven’t seen that anywhere on the system.”

“That’s because classes aren’t displayed next to an influencer’s name. They’re combat roles — separate from branding. Once you hit Level 10, your aura decides what class you awaken.”

“My aura decides?”

“Exactly. The way you act, the way you fight, the energy you attract — it all draws a certain resonance. That resonance awakens into your class. And once the streaming community certifies it, you gain the right to use its features.”

“And if they don’t certify it?”

“Then your class stays locked. Forever.”

“They can do that?”

“Of course. Otherwise we’d have influencers running wild with unchecked powers. It would be chaos.”

Nokia smirked faintly. “True enough. That would be insane.”

“Well,” Dodo said with a small smile, “Once you hit Level 10 — and you will — your class will reveal itself.”

“Class…” Nokia said calmly, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the leaderboard. “I wonder what mine will be.”

Nokia was drifting into thought when his mind was interrupted by a thunderous boom.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Nokia squinted his eyes, looking around to find the source of the commotion. It sounded like a crazy 808 drum bass was booming throughout the entire stadium.

“Do you guys hear that sound?” one influencer said. “There’s no way it couldn’t be.”
