Chapter 4: The Echoing Silent Questions

Blood Moon Harem

As I was dragged down the extravagant halls, my mind raced with questions that couldn't be answered. Where am I? Why am I here? Who are these people? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why-. My thoughts were interrupted by an echoing voice. "We're almost there." Min Hwa-rang's voice echoed endlessly in my mind as I tried to focus on the present and not the past. My Brother, My Mother, My Father. Those people I never knew or saw. Where were they throughout my life?  Honestly, I don't know why I thought this, as I knew where they were. Dead. Heaven or Hell. Either way, I will never see them in my life. Suddenly, Min Hwa-Rang stopped dragging me as we reached a classroom door. "Class 1-A", the bright white sign on the door exclaimed. I got up ready to take my first day, but when the door opened, I saw my classmates....All Male.... with me, the only female.....and possibly the only human. This was going to be a disaster....... Suddenly, a bat flew in, swirling and twirling around in the dim classroom light. " Ah....Min....and who might this be?" The bat spoke, causing me to shriek. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, a puff of Light pink smoke engulfed the little bat. As the mist dispersed, the bat had disappeared, but the window was open, leaving a tall, handsome man with sharp eyes hiding behind a facade of smiles that only I could seem to see through, but his teeth.... Everyone else in this school had sharp daggers ready to take the life of some innocent person.....but this guy....he had normal-sized teeth and he seemed...normal, maybe I wasn't the only human forced to disguise myself behind some fake lie.

How was I meant to survive? Was I even gonna make it out alive?
