"There's more of you? No matter, I shall-"

"Shut up," Hinata groaned as he launched a fireball the size of himself at the King. Charlie shouted with effort as she managed to shoot out a fireball nearly equal in size to follow up Hinata's. The King shouted as he deflected the first one, but as he attempted to counter attack, the second fireball caught him off-guard. Charlie pumped her arm as she started to charge up another fireball, making Hinata grin. "So, I heard there was a fucking mutiny! Count me in!"

Lilin created a massive veil of blood, deflecting the rush of projectiles as she divebombed Hinata and hugged him tight. "You made it in time!" she cheered, "Fuck, it was getting tiring to fight like this!"

"Ew, get the hell off of me!" Hinata shouted, shoving Lilin away. "Ugh, whatever. Save it! You know what we gotta do right now!"

"Right!" Lilin nodded, then took to the air as she got as much height as she could.

Annie was completely lost, but she couldn't help but smile at Lilin's antics. This was very obviously the man who taught her to swear, and Annie had never seen Lilin so excited to see somebody. She herself felt her heart skip a beat when she saw Charlie, but she couldn't go to say hi while she was battling. Well, to be entirely honest, she couldn't get up to go say hi either way.

Charlie launched a fireball, and Hinata trailed right behind it. Lilin timed her divebomb with Hinata's approach, the ball of fire blinding the King as he was forced to try and negate it with a slash of his blade. The fireball dissipated, but Hinata dodged the attack. He closed the remaining distance as the King struggled to see anything and delivered a spinning kick aimed at the King's face. He started superheating his leg the moment he felt the King catch the kick, softening the gauntlet and holding his attention long enough for Lilin's kick to shatter two of his horns. He then twisted his body, launching another kick and using the grip on his leg to power it. Lilin covered the second kick by launching a shower of blood spears, forcing the King to choose whether to address one attack or the other. The King shouted as he threw Hinata back, leaping back as well to create distance- only to land on the ice. He slid back much further than anticipated, his back slamming into the wall of earth Euwelyn had created. Euwelyn quickly lashed vines over his limbs, holding him in place as Tobin began to launch a barrage of brutal attacks directly at the opening in his armor.

"WRETCHED CURRS!"

The King's voice boomed through the room, but was was clearly losing. With all four Generals working together now, there was little he could do. He tried to wrestle himself free, but his body was giving out. His Mana had nearly run dry, his sword drained as well. He was furious, betrayed by the people he had recruited solely because of their power. Why had he done that? Why had he trusted his servants? Why had he trusted any of them?? With a furious roar, he mustered up the last of his mana, cutting open the vine holding his sword hand.

With Hrist, Hinata, and Lilin all closing in on him to attack whilst the others were keeping their distance, the King only had time for a single attack. He knew this was the end of his life, but he wanted to exact vengeance on the person who had made any of this possible. The person who had stolen the very Mana he had amassed for so many years, who had taken his gift of life and used it against him, his very flesh and blood.

Time seemed to slow down. As everybody's attacks met their mark, Lilin felt a searing pain in her stomach. Her kick landed, but her leg crumpled. She flapped her wings clumsily in an attempt to stay up, but every movement she made pushed and pulled on the source of the pain. She collapsed to the ground, barely heaving in a breath as she felt her Mana being rapidly drained into the blade of the sword that was now buried in her midsection.

"LILIN!"
Hinata's scream pierced the room as he raced to her side. The King began to laugh, only to immediately be silenced for good by a roaring flame. The world blurred around him as Hinata grabbed Lilin and sat her up. "Lilin! Lilin, fuck, fuck, fuck! Fuck, uh, y-you're, you're gonna be okay! Okay? STAY AWAKE, DAMN IT!"

Hinata screamed at Lilin as her eyes started to close. She was fighting it as hard as she could, but the stupid sword was draining everything from her. Euwelyn recognized what was happening, stumbling towards the two of them and ripping the blade out. Blood poured from the wound, and Hinata desperately tried to cauterize the wound with his flame. Though the bleeding had stopped on the outside, he had no idea if she was still dying.

Annie tried to get up, but it was no use. She felt like she had on that damned hospital bed, helpless as her life was slowly fading. This time, though, she wasn't helpless. She just needed somebody else to be her arms and legs.

"Six," she breathlessly whispered.

Immediately, Six began to emerge from the rubble. She was badly beaten, but she responded without hesitation. She staggered to Annie's side, taking the appearance Annie knew her for. "Y-Yes, Annie?"

"I... Need you... To take me t-to Lilin, now."

"Yes, Annie."

Six lifted Annie, trying to keep herself steady. She knew what Annie planned to do, but she could see plain as day that Annie was mere minutes from death regardless. She carried Annie to Lilin, placing her beside the dying demoness. She hoped that Annie would make the most of her final moments.
