Chapter 10:
Bottom-Tier reincarnation
Kairo and Mira scavenged for food together, foraging small animals and edible plants. Mira tried to charm him with her cheerful chatter.
“You know,” she said, “I think I could get used to this forest life… if I wasn’t almost dead yesterday.”
Kairo snorted. “Bruh, don’t die first. That’s my job, not yours.”
They shared humor, food, and strategy. Mira was smart, street-wise in her own way, and helped him spot dangers he would’ve missed alone.
Night fell. Kairo slept lightly, alert, while Mira whispered about her family in the commoner city. He realized: people like her made survival feel like more than just rage and pain.
