Chapter 35:

A Silent Vow

The Emotionless

As soon as Hiroshi left the courthouse, he saw an immense crowd that was there wanting to come to him, but he wasn't interested, so he disappeared from there by getting into his carriage and leaving.

Hiroshi didn't go to his hotel because he knew Rania would be there waiting for him, and he didn't want to meet her. Not because he didn't like her company, but because he had too much to think about still and couldn't allow distractions.

So the entire time he stayed in his carriage, driving around the city without meeting anyone.

The next day.

The king did everything Hiroshi had said.

Hiroshi's arm had been replaced with a robotic one that worked with magic. Basically, it could do the same things he did with the original one, but it was obvious that no one could beat the original, given that what was created by perfection was perfect. Then we humans are imperfect, and consequently our things are also imperfect.

The reality is this: perfection cannot be acquired because we are not capable of doing this.

General Wilhelm had been released and had been sent to the place where Hiroshi had said.

Now only the third wish's fulfillment remained.

Hiroshi was in his carriage when a soldier came to him and gave him a paper.

Hiroshi knew what could be inside, and indeed there was written the location where the wedding would take place.

For this moment, Hiroshi dressed properly, put on perfumes, fixed his hair.

And like an elegant man, he went to his wedding.

The location was in a small house distant from the others. The house itself didn't seem to be in great condition, but who knows, perhaps the king didn't want anyone to know. Well, it's obvious: who would ever want their people to spit in their face because they gave the queen to another man.

Hiroshi got down from the carriage and began to proceed straight inside that little house there.

Inside too there was a bit of darkness, there was no light, there were only the sun's rays entering through the windows and the cracks.

Hiroshi entered inside, and saw that there was a priest and the queen and that's it, no one else.

"Why so few people? I honestly expected more."

No response came, total silence.

Hiroshi continued. "Queen, that's not good eh, it's your wedding and you're so silent, you should be happy that you're getting married."

"Well, I don't see the old man and that's a disappointment, but let's continue with what we're here for."

So Hiroshi went forward and stood next to the queen. The queen's height was noticeable, and how.

A pure true fear for a normal person would make their heart stop, but not for Hiroshi since he didn't feel fear.

He saw that the queen still had her face covered, he didn't ask the question because generally he didn't give a damn.

The priest was about to start saying the wedding vows when Hiroshi stopped him.

"Before we proceed, I want the queen, if we say correctly ex-queen, to show me the divorce papers and the related documents."

No response.

Total silence.

Then the queen without saying anything gave a paper to Hiroshi. He checked it carefully, without missing anything, he made sure of everything, since preventing is better than curing.

"Good, the papers are ok, thanks for this inconvenience," he said.

Then again the priest began to say the wedding vows and was stopped again by Hiroshi.

"Wait again! Before we go forward, I want my future wife to sign this magic contract in which it's written that she under no circumstances can attack and kill me, or manipulate me. If we say in few words, she cannot harm me in any way, either mental or physical. Because if she does, the same thing happens to her too. So if I die she also dies, if I am in full suffering she will also suffer and the pain will be calculated. For example, 20% of my body hurts, the same thing will happen to her too, her body will also hurt 20%.

This is for my safety, I hope you don't mind and I look forward to seeing where she will save me because being my wife she is also my guardian since she is stronger than me.

Now take this pen and sign. Thank you."

No response.

Silence.

...

..

.

Then at a certain point the queen spoke and said in a low voice before signing: "You are a demon in a human's face."

Hiroshi answered. "Fine, think what you need to think, but please sign the document. Thank you."

Once the document was signed, Hiroshi thanked the queen, put the paper in his pocket and said to the priest: "Now you can begin, thank you."

The priest said the wedding vows and began the procedure for the marriage.

Hiroshi had already had two rings made previously.

"Queen, here is your ring," he said while putting the ring on her finger.

I can feel just by touching the queen's hand, that she is extremely angry right now so it's better that I don't do things that provoke her further.

And so he put his ring on by himself.

Then there were the promises, both said them in a low voice.

And then finally came the moment of the kiss. Hiroshi quickly asked: "Is it mandatory to do it?"

The priest answered him no.

"Fine, it's better we skip it since it's not the best moment."

Thus concluded the wedding ceremony, nice gloomy and silent.

* * *

Hiroshi and the queen were at that moment in a carriage alone, while the carriage went around the city streets, there was an absolute and imaginable silence.

...

..

.

"Do you want to eat something?" asked Hiroshi.

But he received no response.

"Fine, do what you want, I don't impose anything on you, and rest assured that tomorrow we will leave this city and go where people don't know you."

Again no response.

And there was only the noise of the carriage and nothing else.

...

Then at a certain point the queen asked: "Why did you marry me? I want to know the reason. And don't lie."

Hiroshi answered her directly in an icy manner. "Because the POPE wants you for this."

The queen confused asked: "What do you mean?"

"The POPE and I made an agreement that in exchange for his help I must bring you to him."

"And why?"

"I don't know this either."

Silence appeared again.

Then the queen in a low voice asked: "So you're giving me to him?"

Hiroshi didn't respond.

And the queen understood and said in a very low voice: "So you're giving me to him," in an affirmative sense.

* * *

The two checked into a hotel.

The time was evening.

The queen was sitting on the bed, Hiroshi was looking out the window and while looking he asked: "Why did you marry that old man?"

The queen stayed silent.

A few minutes passed.

Hiroshi still looking at the view outside the window said: "You don't need to say anything, I know very well how that old man is, you'll have your reasons so I won't force you to answer."

Saying this, Hiroshi turned and saw that the queen had removed the covering and her face could be seen.

Pale white skin, thick eyebrows, sharp eyes, well-formed face, even though she was a giant with that appearance she could seduce any person in the world except our MC who couldn't feel these things.

"Why this revelation?" asked Hiroshi.

"Didn't you like it?" she said.

"I don't feel emotions," Hiroshi's dry response.

"Eh? How is that possible?"

"I don't know."

"Hmmm fine."

Silence again.

...

..

.

Then Hiroshi in a low voice asked: "What's your name?"

"Trixia."

"My name is Hiroshi, Hiroshi Nakamura."

Trixia remained confused and asked: "And then what about Alistair Vassair, what is that?"

"It's a long story, I'll tell you one day. But before that I want to ask what powers you have."

"I'm a succubus, I have three main powers: 1) sucking mana which gives me regeneration. 2) I can use seduction magic to manipulate. 3) I can use pure dark magic."

Hiroshi listened and thought for a while and then said: "Good, get ready because I need your third ability soon."
