Case #4: Warehouse

"WE ARE FINALLY HERE!" Haruno exclaimed, stretching her body out, after sitting in the very uncomfortable carriage as it bounced up and down with each passing turn. "Now then, what is behind the mystery door?" she asked, while Lars & officers attempted to unseal the magic barrier on it. 

"Any luck?" Haruno asked, walking up to Ana as she watched closely. 

"No, the magic seal is written in Ancient Elvish. Unsealing is taking a long time," Ana answered. "Can you decipher it?" she asked. 

"I can read it, but deciphering is another story," Haruno said, smiling as she walked over to the magic barrier. "I really don't have time for this," she stated, punching the magic barrier with her fist as everyone quickly ran to hide.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!?!" Lars yelled, picking up Haruno and running into the forest, "IF YOU ATTACK THE MAGIC BARRIER, IT'S GOING TO REBOUND AND HURT EVERYONE NEARBY!" he explained, waiting to hear a rebound shockwave. "What's going on?" he wondered, looking at the warehouse with nothing happening. 

"It's only going to rebound if the barrier spell is intact," Haruno explained, standing up and dusting her clothes. "All I have to do is shatter the barrier spell to prevent it from rebounding, she smiled as she pulled open the warehouse's wooden doors. "Let's go!" she yelled, waving to everyone still hiding in the forest. 

"I know that feeling," Ana said to Lars, "The feeling where things you were taught made no sense around Haruno," she explained, walking out with Lars's ear turning red. "Are you coming?" she asked, with Lars quickly standing up. 

As the group entered the large warehouse, they found rows of wooden boxes stacked on top of each other, covered in a thick layer of dust. Lars began to pry open the nearest boxes and reveal a stack of M4 rifles on top of each other. 

"Someone has definitely been fired for losing all these," Haruno stated, with Emila laughing,  "There must be thousands of these!" she yelled as her voice echoed. 

"I-I-can't believe this!" Ana yelled, picking up the heavy rifle, "Why are there so many of them here?!?!?" she questioned. 

"Something is weird about these rifles," Haruno muttered as she picked one up and headed outside. She proceeded to check the magazine where the bullets were a weird color and had an extremely irregular shape. "EVERYONE, COVER YOUR EARS!" she warned, before switching off the safety and firing a single bullet, watching it stray off course. "Let's try it again," muttered, firing another three rounds, before switching burst rounds, and then switching the safety on. 

"What did you find out?" Emila asked, with her ears still ringing. 

"These weren't made on Earth; these were made here, "Haruno deduced. "Someone has taken apart Cedric's standard US military rifles and managed to make a knock-off version of them," she stated. "We need to destroy them before anyone gets their hands on them," she warned. 

"How do you plan on doing that?" Ana asked, seeing the large number of rifles. 

"Leave that to me," Haruno stated, as she quickly requested Lars to pull everyone back. "Let go!" as she quickly pitched a small glass orb into the warehouse, with a bright pulsing energy ball appearing as it quickly expanded outward. 

"HARUNO, WHAT DID YOU THROW IN THERE?!??!" Ana asked, "IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS BIG?" 

"Takane gave me an Orb of Destruction as a gift before we left," Haruno yelled, "He mentioned it'll help eradicate anything I find unpleasant." 

"DID YOU SAY ORB OF DESTRUCTION!?!?!?" Ana yelled, "WE NEED TO GET FURTHER AWAY NOW!!!" as she quickly notified Lars, and the group escaped from the warehouse area. 

As the Orb of Destruction continued to expand, the remaining surrounding forest was also swallowed whole, leaving only a giant crater after ten minutes of activation.  

"Now then, in what manner did you think to take a name Orb of Destruction as a simple tool?" Ana scolded Haruno as they returned to the crater. "THAT ORB YOU USE IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ARTIFACT THAT WAS USED TO ERASE KINGOOMS!!!" she yelled. 

"I'M SORRY!!!" Haruno apologized as she was kneeling. "On the bright side, we found a mitihril vein?" she smiled, looking at Lars staring into a blank space from seeing the precious vein in front of his eyes. 

"THAT BESIDE THE POINT, YOUNG LADY!!!" Ana yelled, with King Eldrin placing his hand on Ana's shoulder. 

"This should be enough, Anastasia," King Eldrin stated, trying to calm her down. "What has been done is long past, and we need to look into the future now," he smiled, after completing the inspection of the large open mithril vein,  sneaking in a thumbs up toward Haruno.  

"I'm going to tell mother, by the way," Ana stated, brushing away her father's hand and walking over to Emila and embracing her. "Am I wrong for scolding Haruno?" she asked. 

"Well, someone has to," Emila answered, "Otherwise, we might see more of this inside the Kingdom walls," she warned, as they watched King Eldrin and Haruno run down the slope, with a pickaxe in hand, ready to mine for some mitihril. 

Back at the castle, Haruno was lying on the bed, all sore from mining the extremely hard vein. 

"Did you really think you could mine the mithril with regular pickaxes? Ana questioned her reason behind it. "Who gave you that idea?" she asked. 

"Grandpa," Haruno answered, "He says we should be able to if we struck it correctly, they should break out. 

"*sigh*, he truly spoils you, huh?" Ana muttered, seeing how ridiculous her father has been acting lately. 

"Hey, Haruno, how did you know those rifles were not made on Earth?" Emila asked, "You only fired a few rounds and immediately knew that you weren't, how did you find out?" 

"Hmmmm....secret," Haruno answered, with Emila placing pressure on her sore muscle. "STOP IT, EMILA!!!" she requested. 

"COME ON, TELL ME!" Emila demanded, shaking Haruno even more. 

"<Need Not To Know>" Haruno answered in English, with Emila stopping immediately. 

A single phrase from their favorite Detective Movie that will prevent the other from asking any more questions, as the answer will end up hurting them.

"Okay," Emila stated, before jumping into bed. 

"What did she say?" Ana asked, "Why did you all remain so quiet all of a sudden?" she asked. 

"It's nothing," Haruno stated, as they oddly slowly drifted off to sleep.
