Chapter 24:
I Found Myself in another World Living with The Demon Lord
Himari and Duncan had waited a year to be married as both wanted to make sure the economy was booming and they both wanted plenty of time to plan their special day. Himari had also been trying to figure out a way to prevent her from being returned to her previous world and thought she might have found a way, which provided her with some relief. She checked her reflection. Her hair was beautifully arranged atop her head with a few loose curls. The demon culture believed red was a color of prosperity and a happy marriage so most dresses were red. Himari decided to combine her dreams of a white dress with the demons culture and had made a beautiful ball gown with accents of red decorating the bottom and the bodice. She had also worn red drop earrings and a matching necklace and bracelet. Bianca and Joan stood behind her looking stunning in their outfits as Iris danced around them in a beautiful dress that brought out the color of her eyes. They headed to where the ceremony was being held at. They had decided to get married on the beach and to hold the reception at the castle. Himari still couldn’t believe that she was getting married to the love of her life. She pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming and was happy when it proved she wasn’t. Himari looked up to see Duncan looked extra handsome in his suit and Himari for the millionth time that day felt so lucky. Cedric stood beside Duncan smiling happily. Himari and Iris walked towards Duncan together with Bianca and Joan following behind. They all came to stand before all the people who come to celebrate their special day including kings and queens from the other nations. The ceremony passed in a happy blur. At the celebration everyone was dancing, eating and being merry. Duncan pulled Himari to him as they slow danced. Duncan said “Today feels like a dream I never want to wake up from. I am the happiest man in the world to now have you as my wife. No man is luckier than me.” Himari smiled up at him and said “I am the luckiest woman in the world. Being brought to this world and being with you and having a daughter with you has been the best things that have ever happened to me.” Himari and Duncan along with all their future children lived happy lives filled to the brim with love, laughter, and health.
