[CHAPTER-6] “Breast, Blood, and… Void?”

Nurses are going from one bed to another in Infirmary Hall, it’s quite a rush here many students get unconscious after pact of blood is sealed, this happens every year nothing unusual.

Someone is lost in thoughts… Eva is staring at fan continuously.

Those eyes were the same eyes she saw during ceremony, who was that…this question was eating her over and over.

“SNOOORRRKKHHHHkkhhhttttchhhh.” Aqua was sleeping in next bed to Eva, she could have gone to her dorm as she didn’t get unconscious yet choose to stay where her friends are or maybe It’s just the comfy bed…. Valentina and Luna still haven’t regained their consciousness.

Eva started to look around to distract her mind, her eyes glazed over and she saw some cute teddy bears, “How cute.” She thought in her mind.

As she noticed more, Eva realized that they were embroidery on aqua’s panties which were fully visible, Eva’s eyes almost came out, she jumped of her bed and put blanket over aqua and sat on her bed but aqua in sleep remove blanket by her legs, this time Eva tie blanket around her with rope.

“KNOCK KNOCK” sound came from back, Eva looked at the door Lilith was standing there with arms crossed and gentle smile on her face.

“Up for a little night walk?” asked Lilith to Eva.

Eva and Lilith walking under the bright moon, sky was filled with stars today with gently breeze swaying their clothes and hairs as it moves.

“I heard you had a rough day today.” Said Lilith.

“…I just keep seeing it. That thing. Its eyes. I thought I was going to die.” Said Eva.

“But you saved yourself from it right? That means you are already stronger than you were yesterday.” Said Lilith.

“If Lacerta hadn’t stepped in… I’d be gone.” How do I win over this feeling? Said Eva.

“You’ll not win always…no one does, we all start from somewhere with something fragile and weak. You don’t have to run away from fears; they aren’t your enemy… they are a proof you have a long way ahead. Warriors aren’t forged overnight... Said Lilith.

Silence. Air was feeling little less cold to Eva as fire inside her was burning brighter.

“Good. Because tomorrow I’m going to break you all over again in training. And when you drag yourself off the ground cursing me—that’s when I’ll know you’re ready to walk this road.” Said Lilith.

Eva lets out a shaky laugh. For the first time since the summoning, her chest feels lighter.

Eva with determined look, dual sword and a chest Armor was ready to take on Lilith again today. With a blue flame flicker, she charged at Lilith at high-speed aiming to slash throat with her right hand and stomach with left hand in single blow with strong hip movement and stability followed by slash to Lilith’s shoulders, Lilith easily dodges with very little and precise movements.

Trying not to give Lilith any chance to make her move, Eva dashes and aims for Lilith’s eyes and slashes with her right hand at eye level forcing Lilith to bend to dodge slash, at the same time throwing her left sword towards Lilith as a feint and with high-speed dash trying to get behind Lilith.

Thinking she got Lilith in a tough spot, Eva slashes in mid air aiming for Lilith’s back. Lilith twists her upper body and spins around; in mid position she dodges the feint sword and back slash but also grabs Eva’s head throws her straight to wall by using momentum.

“Phew that was some tactics coming from a birdbrain like ya” said Lilith.

Eva lying on the floor with cross in her eyes, spinning stars over her head and a cute little blood fountain over her head. Getting treated by medical assistance women in glasses with black hairs, Erina asked her to stay there during lessons as she can’t trust Lilith.

After Eva regains consciousness she feels spinney in head as after effect of impact, Lilith comes to her says that she is getting better and dual swords suits her so from tomorrow she’ll teach Eva dual sword techniques.

As Lilith ruffles Eva’s hairs, she sees growth and a purpose to look ahead.

Eva went to the class room for next class of weapon and magic fusion by Professor Hana, but there was no one there. Luna and aqua were still in their magic attribute classes.

“It’s still pretty early for class to start I’m going to sleep for a while in class room,” said Eva, sat on her seat and put her head down and doze off.

She heard some noise as if someone is arranging desks, she opened her eyes and saw a woman was leaning over, humming to herself and wiping Eva’s desk with damp cloth, right in front of her—two huge breasts hanging in her line of sight, bouncing with every wipe like they had their own agenda. She was professor Hana.

Bounce. Jiggle. Smack against fabric.

“What never seen such cinema?” said Hana

“Haven.” Eva said in her mind she still was half sleepy.

“Classroom isn’t a place to sleep but… you can sleep until class start just for today.” Said Hana.

After quite a sleep Eva heard faint chatters of students, she put her cheeks off desk wood and started to clean her drool. She saw classroom is already filled with students, beside her aqua and luna were sitting. In front of her a tall woman with more curvy physique, black long hairs were standing… yes, she is professor Hana.

She walked to the center of the room, heels clicking against floor. “I am here to teach you something most of you will fail at: fusing your magic with your weapon.

It requires you to have basic understanding of your magical attributes, which is Tier 1 called as Novice to call out your raw elements. As you’ll advance through Tiers, performing more than just fusion will be possible. She explained more about tiers.

· Tier 1 (Novice) – Basic conjuration. User can call forth the raw element, weapon fusion possible but weak.

· Tier 2 (Conjuror) – Element responds to user’s will, can form spells of moderate size.

· Tier 3 (Magister) – Element partially fuses with user’s body parts, to get properties of respective elements.

· Tier 4 (Archon) – The user’s presence warps reality around their Domain; battlefield-changing powers.

· Tier 5 (Exalted) – mastery; the user embodies the principle itself, bending concepts beyond matter.

Professor Hana herself is a Tier 3 user of Ignis attribute. She stopped, resting her hand on the sword strapped to her hip.

The students leaned forward.

With a single motion, she unsheathed her blade—a longsword polished to mirror shine. Her free hand followed sword from handle to tip, as her hand moved flame emerged from those parts. The entire sword ignited in crimson fire.

“Control,” she said, lowering the sword. “Without it, you’ll burn your allies before you touch your enemies. With it, you can cut down beasts ten times your size.”

“Now. You all will try. I don’t care if your weapon is a dagger, a spear, or a frying pan—if you can channel magic into it, you will learn to fuse.

Students started to perform this. Let’s see how things going with our girls…

“nnnghhhh” Aqua is trying to focus over a sword and we see a very thin layer of water coming over her sword, water shakes a bit then looses its shape and fall on floor.

Being a Tier 1 Hydric attribute, she was trying to manipulate moisture present in air and get it over her sword, this is not fusion just layering…. But as tier 1 she can’t do much either.

On the other hand, Luna closed her eyes and started manipulating her body heat, swords started to get red from bottom then it was on flame, flame moves from bottom to top. It was burning bright…. Brighter than it should. Luna had lost control over her flames and dropped her sword it was still very red like iron in furnace.

Luna’s body temperature dropped and she felt dizzy but Professor Hana gives her support, realizes that Luna has massive potential but she needs more control.

Valentina picked but a dagger, looking at it and breathing heavily with a smile on her face and she pierce dagger in her other hand palm, her eyes roll back “aaahhhhhh”. She screams and that was not a scream of someone who is in pain…. It was pleasure.

Everyone was shocked but suddenly large amount of blood started to flow over sword from bottom to top and formed a layer of it, dark-red pulsing layer as if it was alive.

Valentine went near a plant which was present close to her and she touched the plant with tip of her sword, suddenly multiple micro thread fibers of blood come out from everywhere of sword and pierced plant from everywhere then retreated to sword…it was a terrifying ability.

Valentina is Tier 2 user of Carnis attribute, not only capable of manipulating blood but also bending it various shapes, density and much more.

She takes out a bottle filled with blood and drinks it in order to compensate for the blood loss.

“Ah I feel alive again. By the way what are you trying to do Eva.” Said Valentina.

We see eva at the corner of room trying to dump her magic into her blade, “Hngggnnn Haaaaaaa.” Popped veins on forehead and biting her lips…. Umm she was just trying to hold her breath, I guess.

Class was over. Students are going back to dorms after another hectic day, Eva was whistling with her hands in pocket, aqua was kind of dragging herself after another loose, luna was a bit airhead after using so much of magic…. But we see something hiding and following them continuously.

“Man, I’m so hungry right now after such a heavy day, I’m gonna eat a ton today.” Said Eva as she opened door of room and enter in. “You always eat like a dog what’s new with that huh?” said luna and started to change her clothes.

“I’m not picking on kids today.” Said Eva lying down of bed.

Suddenly door opens and comes…… Valentina?
