CHAPTER TWO: SOLVING PHANTOM DECREE

Phantoms....

Ｔｈｅｙ ａｒｅ ｓｏｍｅｔｈｉｎｇ．．．．

Something that could cleanse the world.

"Oh, Niku what's....happening to you..?" I asked, trying to keep my cool... But deep inside, I was scared.

Why am I scared?!

Ｂｕｔ ｓｈｅ ｗａｓｎ＇ｔ ｓｏｍｅｔｈｉｎｇ Ｉ ｃｏｕｌｄ ｌｏｖｅ ａｎｙｍｏｒｅ．

She growled at me like a predator, claws raised, ready to strike at any moment. Out of fear, I threw scraps at her and fled away. 

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!"

Something I noticed while facing the inevitable was the rapid blinking of Niku's eyes. 

"A Morse code?" I thought to myself. I looked again at the tall figure.

I realized.

"PHANTOM LORD, PHANTOM VESSEL, PHANTOM LORD, PHANTOM VESSEL." She delivered it by blinking.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I muttered, all of the sudden. She chased and swinged her claws at me. I had barely time to react, so I got hit and stumbled towards the light post. I clutched my bleeding face as I looked at her.

"Ｗｈａｔ ｔｈｅ ｈｅｌｌ ｉｓ ｔｈｉｓ ｃｒｅａｔｕｒｅ， Ｉ－Ｉ ｎｅｖｅｒ ｓｅｅｎ ｓｏｍｅｔｈｉｎｇ ｌｉｋｅ ｔｈｉｓ ｂｅｆｏｒｅ！" I internally screamed. I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the inevitable

Suddenly...

SHING!! SHING!!

I heard the sound of a katana slicing the flesh. I slowly opened my eyes. 

I saw a handsome man with glasses.
"Who are you?" I asked. He smiled. "Are you okay?" The person helped me stand up. I glared at him

"Hey answer me! Who the hell are you?" I hollered at him. Suddenly, my vision started to fade. 

"Ughhh, what's happening to me...?" I looked at my arm, he injected me with a syringe as he looked at me with that smile.

"Ｄａｍｎ ｙｏｕ ａｓｓｈｏｌｅ．．" I managed to spit out before I lost consciousness


Ｉ ｗａｓ ａ Ｐｈａｎｔｏｍ..

A few hours later, I woke up feeling drowsy.

"What the hell?" I murmured, I pulled my arm it was shackled on the bed frame.
"HEY WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!!!" I hollered as I thrashed around trying to break free, suddenly someone opened the door. A woman stepped in with high heels, examining me. I gritted my teeth. 

"Hey woman! What's your reason for kidnapping me, huh?!" I asked defensively, then several people came in, looking at me.

"Oh! So is this the vessel huh? He looks....weak.." A person with his eyes closed mused.

"HUH? WHY THE HELL IS THERE A FUCKING PHANTOM HERE?!" A guy with mean features hollered.

"Don't be like that, he has potential." A woman said. 

"Hey Kurugame, when's the next extermination?" Another woman asked the orange haired guy.

"Alright, stop yapping, you're giving the vessel a hard time!" The annoying guy from earlier joked. 

"Hmmm, what's your name?" The lady asked, I scoffed. 

"Why'd you wanna know?" I rebuked. Her eyes narrowed.

"Seems you're confused because of your surroundings, very well. I'll introduce myself." She coughed and said.

"My name is Anri. Shoujisha of Health, director of Phantom Exorcism Insitute And you my dear..."

A Phantom.

"What do you mean? And who are those people behind you?"  I asked again, she smiled. 

"My dear, those are Shoujishas, some are Kisoushas, which wield weapons embodied with Sou." Anri answered. That got me more confused
"Huh? What the hell is Shoujisha and why am I a Phantom?!" I thrashed out, all of the sudden, the person with mean features snapped. 

"ARE YOU FUCKING DUMB, YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT?" He screamed out. I gasped in shock. 

"Heh, Shidoichi is getting mad for no reason!" The girl laughed about it.

"Silence, everyone.....silence..." Anri scolded. 

"You want to know what you are?"

"Very well then."
