Chapter 3: Nature Junior

Hillary's I Spy Junior Adventure


Mrs. Hubertson felt so interested in letting Hillary's dream of a solving riddles and winning prizes come true and Hillary having a Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 as her wonderful gift. So she decided to start three locations where Hillary would solve riddles in six scenes in each location. "So now, Hillary," said Mrs. Hubertson. "Once you have that little riddle-solving device, I'm going to allow you to use it to solve riddles. So I'll start with the Nature Junior location where you can start solving riddles in its six scenes." And then she asked, "Are you ready?" "Yes!" said Hillary. "Good!" said Mrs. Hubertson. "Let's begin!" "Deal!" said Hillary as she and Mrs. Hubertson gave each other a high five. So Mrs. Hubertson opened the Nature Junior location and gave her a checklist of Nature Junior riddles, a green marker and a magnifying glass. She said, "Let's start with the first scene of Nature Junior." "Thanks," said Hillary. So Hillary began to search the hidden objects and solve riddles. At the first scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a red car, a pile of stones, an orange teddy bear, two pinecones, a leaf, a little toy kitten, a baseball bat and a blue mitten, and she did. Next, at the second scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a school bus, a garden hose, a little red clown, a carrot nose, two pumpkins, a silver key, a fussy scarecrow and the number three, and she did. At the third scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 and a magnifying glass to find a feather, a rocking horse charm, the number six, a busy ant farm, turtle eyes, a letter D block, three yellow buttons and a bug on a rock, and she did. At the fourth scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find two birds, a long yellow string, a tiny black spider, a bell to ring, a squirrel, a green letter C, a silvery spoon and a ball in a tree, and she did. At the fifth scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 and a magnifying glass to find a marble, a bean in a jar, two yellow chicks, a worm, a star, four peas, an eggshell with eyes, a potted plant, a frog and two butterflies, and she did. And finally, at the sixth scene of Nature Junior, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a lobster, a bottle, a duck, a blue pail, a fish, a little toy truck, an airplane, cup filled with sand, a starfish, a hat and a print of a hand, and she did. Hillary was done with Nature Junior. So Mrs. Hubertson gave her a green Nature Junior badge and said, "Well done, Hillary! You completed all six Nature Junior scenes!" Then Mrs. Hubertson took back the magnifying glass. "I guess you won't be needing this anymore," she said. So when Mrs. Hubertson put away the magnifying glass on her desk, she said Hillary, "Now it's time for the Busy Bins scenes!" "Thanks, Mrs. Hubertson." said Hillary.
