Chapter 6:
Three Worlds, One Choice
“What the hell was that, Yokugama!?”The crowd erupted as the announcer’s voice echoed through the massive arena.“His opponent didn’t even have time to react! Someone who barely knows how to use Natura Ki properly—defeated in just three seconds!”
In the stands, two students whispered, wide-eyed. “Hey, isn’t that the X family’s son? I heard he’s got great control over wind-type Natura Ki.”“Yeah, but… Yokugama just flattened him in one hit! What kind of monster is that guy!?”
The Nature of Natura Ki
Natura Ki—the life energy flowing through all living beings—can be manipulated to strengthen the body or alter its properties. However, true mastery requires imagination and cellular control.
A teacher’s voice explained through the academy broadcast:“The human body is made of countless cells, each with hidden potential. Normally, the brain limits how much of that potential we can use. But with Natura Ki, you can bypass those limits.”
“Imagine your cells changing shape—adapting to the nature you desire. If you wish your hand to be as hard as stone, visualize every cell transforming into rock. The clearer the image, the stronger the result. It’s slow at first, but with training, it becomes instant.”
When the match began, Yokugama closed his eyes and focused.
He imagined his body light as a feather—his leg muscles strong as a rabbit’s.Then he moved. In a blur, he shifted his stance, pushing off the cracked arena floor with one reinforced leg—his knee hardened like stone. Before the X family’s son could even react, Yokugama’s strike connected cleanly with his gut.Three seconds. The opponent was out cold—embedded into the wall.
“Unbelievable! The 190th match ends in just three seconds—a new world record!” the announcer shouted.“We’ve witnessed history twice today!”
In the VIP section, Principal Daigo Tenshiro turned to the gathered noble families.
“What do you think? A genius born once in a thousand years?”One of the family heads smirked.“Maybe so. But we’ll see if he’s useful beyond raw power.”
The Final Match — Hoshizora vs NPC Senior“Now, the last match of the second-year division!”Representing the great House of Hoshizora—Hoshizora herself!”“Her opponent, a second-year senior—step forward!”
.Hoshizora stepped into the arena, her long hair fluttering with the energy around her. She exhaled slowly—Natura Ki pulsing through every vein. Then—her back began to glow.Feathers of pure energy unfurled. Wings.
The Power of Cellular Division
The narrator’s voice deepened:A human body’s cells can divide about 35 times in a lifetime—a process known as the 2ⁿ division. But Hoshizora… she can manipulate that process at will.”
“She can accelerate or reverse her own growth, shaping her body however she wishes. By controlling cellular division and structure, she creates organic wings from her own flesh and Ki.”Light as air, she lifted off the ground, hovering gracefully. Her wings adjusted with every motion, guiding her with perfect precision. This was only half of the true potential of Natura Ki.
Second Phase — Focused Natura Ki“When Natura Ki is focused into a single point,” explained the announcer, “it can manifest elemental energy—depending on the user’s imagination.“If you picture fire, it burns. If you visualize water, it flows.”
Hoshizora raised her hand. Her veins pulsed blue.A swirling sphere of water appeared in her palm—rotating faster, compressing tighter—until it formed a water spiral nut.She hurled it forward.
The senior student tried to block the attack, but his control was weak. The blast smashed through his defense, knocking him out of bounds. Two minutes and thirty seconds.
“And that’s it! The second-fastest victory in the tournament!”Hoshizora wins!”
Cheers filled the arena as her wings slowly dissolved into particles of blue light. From the crowd, Yokugama watched silently, a small smirk forming.
“So that’s her,” he whispered. “Hoshizora… the girl who manipulates her very cells. Interesting.”
The tournament stage trembled under the weight of their presence.Everyone could feel it—this wasn’t just rivalry.
It was destiny preparing for collision.
