Pandawa - Chapter 2(4) - Test_

Utophilisia: The Beginning

“Dru, Dru! Looook!” Gitarja whispered excitedly, tugging on my sleeve.

“W–what? Which one?”

She pointed frantically toward a direction I could barely make out.

“The man wearing the totopong! The one with the black and yellow armor!”

Ah. That man?

“He’s so handsome. Totally my type!”

Well . . . she wasn’t wrong. He was quite handsome.

Just as Gitarja described — square jaw, firm expression, and from the way his muscles flexed beneath his arms, it was obvious he was a seasoned warrior. His strong grip alone told me he must be an expert archer.

Out of all the contestants, I had a feeling he’d be the one to win.

Enggon suddenly pointed at another participant.

“I’d bet on the man from the Tengger tribe. If I recall, his name is—”

“No, no, no, Enggon! I’m sure the one with the totopong will win!”

“The totopong guy? Oh, Cakradhara? Please, not a chance.”

“You’re underestimating my analysis, Enggon.”

“Analysis? You mean your crush?”

“What did you say?!”

Gitarja and Enggon immediately locked horns, arguing like fire and oil.

The heat between them was palpable—

but I decided not to intervene. This kind of chaos was… normal.

“I doubt anyone’s going to win,” Bongol muttered, eyes fixed straight ahead.

“You’re all just pretending to know,” Gitarja huffed. “Enggon, Bongol, Liwung—whatever! I’ll trust Drupadi’s answer more than yours!”

Sora turned to me with a half-teasing smile.

Why am I suddenly dragged into this?

Now both Gitarja and Enggon were staring at me.

Ugh, this is annoying.

“Hmm, I think— Ow!”

Without warning, a metal pot came flying straight at my head, landing with a loud clank! that nearly made me see stars.

Rubbing the sore spot, I turned to see who dared—

“You all, be quiet! You sound like children! This is a sacred royal ceremony, not a market!”

Arya Tadah’s furious face glared down at us.

We all froze instantly.
