The Bunny Kid Who Wants To Become The Strongest: vol 2 noya

It was a school day. The morning sunlight filtered through the big glass windows of Noya High School, catching the faint dust floating in the air.
Tony walked down the hallway, the sound of his bony feet clacking against the tile floor echoing faintly. He muttered to himself, “Okay, Tony, you got the job. Don’t know why they allowed a skeleton to teach, or how they’re not freaked out—but that doesn’t matter.”
He stopped in front of door 906, where a small gold plaque read Homeroom 2-B.
Tony inhaled—well, pretended to—then clapped both of his bony cheeks. “You got this, Tony. Just be normal. Smile. Don’t rattle.”
He slid open the door. “Hello cla—”
SPLASH!
A massive water balloon exploded against his skull, water dripping down his ribcage like rain on glass.
The entire class erupted into laughter.
Tony blinked—or rather, tilted his head since he didn’t have eyelids. “…Huh. I see we’re starting with biology.”
The culprit stood proudly on his desk: Olorun, a dreadlocked boy with warm brown skin, golden eyes gleaming like he’d just achieved godhood. He was laughing so hard he nearly fell off his chair.“Haha! Gotcha, Mr. Bones!”
Next to him, Chiyo, the tan-skinned girl with messy red-brown hair, slammed her desk, snickering uncontrollably.“Oh man! His skull made a clunk sound when it hit!”
Eleo, the white rabbit kid, was rolling on the floor, holding his stomach. “PFFFT—HAHA! HIS FACE JUST—SPLAT! Oh man, that was priceless!” His tall rabbit ears were bouncing like springs as he wheezed out laughter.
At the back, Kenji, the sharp blue-haired boy, leaned back in his chair, smirking with his hands behind his head. “Tch. You idiots are gonna get detention day one.”
Timmy, the tiny 20-centimeter-tall student sitting on top of Kenji’s desk, waved his little arms and squeaked, “Detention? What’s that?”
Kenji snorted. “Something I’m not staying for.”
And then there was Amai, the pale, doll-like girl with silvery-white twin tails. Her big pink eyes shimmered with star-shaped pupils as she tilted her head innocently.“Sensei,” she said softly, “are you… melting?”
Tony looked down at the puddle under him and sighed, “No, Amai. That’s just disappointment leaving my body.”
The entire class laughed again—louder this time.
Tony crossed his arms, letting the water drip off him. “Alright, alright, very funny. Welcome to Advanced Magical History and Ethics.”
Chiyo raised her hand immediately. “Wait, what kind of history? The boring kind or the ‘giant-lizard-ate-a-city’ kind?”
Tony tapped his chin with a bony finger. “Well, considering this is Japan, I’d say… both.”
Eleo shot up his paw. “Do we get lunch breaks early?”
Tony replied dryly, “Only if you don’t throw another balloon.”
Olorun chuckled nervously, scratching his neck. “Eheh… yeah, my bad, teach. Just trying to lighten the mood, y’know?”
Tony leaned in close, his skull casting a long shadow over Olorun’s desk. “Oh, you did. You lightened it very much. Almost to the point of suspension.”
Olorun froze. “…You’re joking, right?”
Tony straightened up and said in his most dramatic tone, “Am I ever joking, Olorun?”
The entire class went quiet for half a beat—
Then Chiyo burst out laughing again. “He totally is!”
Tony sighed, rubbing his forehead. “This is going to be a very interesting class…”
Amai raised her hand again, blinking. “Sensei, what subject is this again?”
Tony turned slowly toward her. “Patience, Miss Amai. That’s the first lesson.”
The bell rang, echoing through the hallways as Tony looked at the group of chaotic students—Olorun grinning, Chiyo already whispering plans to prank him again, Eleo kicking his feet on the desk, Kenji pretending not to care, Timmy balancing an eraser on his mushroom cap, and Amai quietly doodling stars in her notebook.
Tony sighed one last time, his voice dry but oddly fond.“Yep. Definitely the weirdest class I’ve ever had…”
