Chapter 9:
Hillary's I Spy Junior Adventure
In the preschool auditorium, Hillary and the other preschool students sat down on their seats and waited for the puppet shows to begin. The preschool auditorium announcer, Mr. Jockspod, came onto the stage, wearing a straw hat and a red necktie with yellow polkadots, and announced, "Hello, boys and girls, and welcome to our preschool auditorium puppet show! Our first puppet show begins here! It's The Bouncing Ball!" So when Mrs. Jockspod ran off the stage, Hillary and the other preschool students clapped in applause. The curtains opened apart and the Bouncing Ball puppet show began. And when Hillary pointed her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 straight at The Bouncing Ball puppet show play, she began solving riddles while watching The Bouncing Ball puppet show. So while Hillary started watching the first scene of the Bouncing Ball puppet show, she used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a red and white ball, a steep slide, four letter blocks, a duck to ride, a clock tower, a bright yellow sun and a girl with a ball, ready for fun, and she did. While Hillary watched the second scene of the Bouncing Ball puppet show, she used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a circus tent, a bright blue car, a yellow school bus, a small blue star, an airplane, a clown on the truck, a barking dog and a rolling duck, and she did. While Hillary watched the third scene of the Bouncing Ball puppet show, she used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find four flags, a juggling clown, a hot air balloon, a bear that's brown, an elephant trunk, a green bowtie, a ball on a nose and a dancer up high, and she did. And finally, while Hillary watched the fourth scene of the Bouncing Ball puppet show, she used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a dinosaur tail, a green hat, a little box, a wooden bat, a ruler, a red car, one cent and a ball that came in from the circus tent, and she did. So when Hillary finished solving riddles in the Bouncing Ball puppet show completely, it was the end of the Bouncing Ball puppet show play. And when the curtains closed together, Mrs. Hubertson gave Hillary a red Bouncing Ball Puppet Show badge. "Thanks, Mrs. Hubertson," said Hillary. "You're welcome," said Mrs. Hubertson.
