Chapter 14: Ivore's Victory

Mateo, Ofurd, Kamil, and Luar took out their cards and walked toward the wall.

The examiner said, "Hold your cards to the wall. If you do it correctly a strange looking object will come out. Insert the card and turn it to the left side."

Every player did that. Four strange looking things came out.

The examiner said, "You have to wear a locket and a ring at all times."

Everyone started talking to each other. Kamil said, "What are these things for? What is even going on here?"

The examiner said, "That thing you are calling a bad its real name is Animus. It can take you from one place to another. But your body will still be here."

The examiner said, "Let me explain. You sit inside this thing. When you wear the ring and the chain around your neck you will not be disqualified from this exam. There are about one hundred thousand questions. It will be like a quest. All of you will have to do a certain type of thing and then you will get the question."

The examiner said, "Let me give you an example. If you are inside this thing your soul will go to another body. It can feel pain but your body here will be weak. You will grow up fast like a flashback. Every one of you will be the age of twenty-five. Not a day younger or older."

The examiner said, "Now see that button on the side. If you click it you will immediately fall asleep, get a flashback, and then your adventure starts."

Every player started wearing the ring and the chain.

The examiner said one more thing. He said, "If you lose one of these nothing will happen. But if you lose the second item you die and come back here. In this place you will have the ability to find things to use as lives. They will be called magic items. Even though magic is not real this is like a game."

Every player lay down in the Animus. The examiner told them to close their eyes. Every player did as instructed.

Then all the players saw a flashback. Villages were being burned down. Soldiers were screaming and crying in the name of their land.

Somewhere else in the world Tacrc got thrown against a wall. Enam, Oen'r, and Haare shouted, "What did we even do to you? Why are you doing this to us?"

A man standing there laughed. He said, "Ha ha, you damned fools. All of you have potential. Join me."

Enam said, "We will never follow the likes of you. I am going to kill you. To hell with that!"

Tacrc said, "Enam stop!" Then he turned to the man and said, "We will follow you."

Haare thought to himself, "We will never surrender to anyone. Damn you to hell with that. No matter what it takes we will end all of this."

The man fighting the enemy was named Ivore. It was said that he was one of the strongest men that ever lived.

Ivore said, "There were over two hundred of us strong. But you have killed a lot of us. Yet there are only four of you. It was one versus fifty. But if I let the boss live and he tries to kill us then his men will follow him."

Ivore took a pocket knife and cut off the head of the former boss of the Tacrc Gol Party.

In this battle between the Tacrc Gol Party and the Finger Lease Gang they won.

When Tacrc's head was cut off three of the others looked on in shock and dropped to their knees. Enam had tears in his eyes. His mouth was open. He was crying. He looked at Ivore in pure rage.

Ivore smiled and said to Enam, "I was bored. That is why I killed him."

Somewhere else in the world people were sitting on horses. The commander said, "Our peace treaty is officially over today."

Civilians looked at the commander in fear. Behind him stood an army of ten thousand fully armed men.

A soldier told him, "Mr Arthen Vail. One of the seventeenth royal guard of the Thalven Dominion. The hundredth country in the world. Commander Arthen Vail is one of the most ruthless men to ever walk this world's soil."
