Chapter 9:
Hillary's I Spy School Adventure
Mr. Forbirinto took away the Oops Hoops game when completed and said to Hillary, "Here's the last game you're ready to play: The Balloon Popper! This Balloon Popper machine is where you can use the boot to kick the marble and let it hit anything to cause this big red balloon to pop!" "Wow!" said Hillary. "How many red balloons will I pop?" "Three red balloons to be exact," said Mr. Forbirinto. "I inflated them for this Balloon Popper machine I've built because it has three tracks to make the red balloons pop. But there're missing pieces to find and fix it and make it work well." So Mr. Forbirinto put one inflated red in his Balloon Popper machine and said to Hillary, "All you ought to is find missing pieces for this Balloon Popper machine and make it work in all three tracks." And then he asked her, "Are you ready?" "Yes, Mr. Forbirinto! Yes!" said Hillary. "Then good luck," said Mr. Forbirinto. So Hillary began to find missing pieces for the Balloon Popper machine. First, Hillary opened Balloon Popper Track 1 and picked up a little shopping cart and put it on the green slide. And then she used the boot to hit marble and let it hit little shopping cart down and it hit the plane and it hit the Russian clown doll and it caused the dominos and dice to fall and they made the car hit the baseball and it bounced on the clothes pin and landed in the bucket of sand and the caused the toy acrobat to push the red balloon to the sharp pencil and let it pop. Balloon Popper Track 1 was complete. Next, Mr. Forbirinto put the second inflated red balloon in his Balloon Popper machine. So Hillary opened Balloon Popper Track 2 and used her Object Finder 2,000 to pick up a soccer ball and a bucket, as missing pieces, from Chalkboard and Nature and put them on the yellow cone and a pulley string. And then she used the boot to hit the marble and let it hit the blue toy gate thingy and it hit the soccer ball into the Ferris wheel seat and it caused the yellow Ferris wheel passenger to hit a white marble and let it roll right, down, left and into the bucket and it lowered down and hit the dominos and they hit the little blue ball onto the merchant scale and it caused the ballerina to turn clockwise and made the sharp pencil move to the red balloon and let it pop. Balloon Popper Track 2 was complete. And last, Mr. Forbirinto put the third and final inflated red balloon in his Balloon Popper machine. So Hillary opened Balloon Popper Track 3, the final Balloon Popper track, and used her Object Finder 2,000 to pick up a roller skate, a pinwheel, a yellow crayon, red and yellow spoons, a wheel barrel and a thread spool, as missing pieces, from Wood Block City, Chalkboard and Nature and put them behind the toy air blower, in the little blue lidless box thingy and under the dinner fork handle. And then she used the boot to hit the marble down and let it hit the baseball down onto the toy air blower and it blew the pinwheel in the roller skate forward and they pulled the string and the xylophone mallet off and it caused the hammer to hit the ball and let it roll on the xylophone and landed on the yellow spoon and the red spoon let go of the green rectangle block as it made it fall onto the dinner fork prongs and the dinner fork handle pushed up the wheel barrel and it poured the thread spool out of it and it finally caused the toy acrobat to push the red balloon to the sharp pencil and let it pop. Balloon Popper Track 3 was complete. And then after that and finally, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a yellow toy ladybug for the twelvth and final time and she did. When Mr. Forbirinto's Balloon Popper machine was fixed, all three Balloon Popper tracks were completed and the yellow toy ladybug was found all twelve times, Mr. Forbirinto gave Hillary an indigo Balloon Popper Badge and a pink Find the Yellow Toy Ladybug Twelve Times badge. "Thanks for two badges, Mr. Forbirinto," said Hillary politely. "You're extremely welcome!" said Mr. Forbirinto. And when Mr. Forbirinto took away his Balloon Popper machine when fixed, he finally said to Hillary, "For solving riddles in Nature, Wood Block City, Chalkboard and Craft Projects, playing Code Breaker, Oops Hoops and Balloon Popper and finding the yellow toy ladybug twelve times completely, you won the Show-and-Tell!" So Mr. Forbirinto gave Hillary a golden Show-and-Tell badge. "Thank you, Mr. Forbirinto!" said Hillary in tears of joy. "This is the best day ever!" "You're so very welcome!" said Mr. Forbirinto happily. "I hope you had fun solving riddles and playing games."
