Chapter 17: The Door of Approval

Somewhere else in the real world Arthen Vail saw Malrec.

Arthen Vail said, "Bring the royal family."

When one of the soldiers saw the princess he threw up. Then another soldier threw up. Then another soldier came over and said, "What is going on?" When he saw what they saw he threw up as well.

One of the soldiers that threw up said, "I can't believe a female can be this ugly."

Arthen Vail said, "Bring a bag to cover her face. If she tries to fight all ten thousand of us will lose."

Soldier 4824 brought a bag and put it on top of the princess.

The princess started screaming and yelling, "I am the most beautiful person on this planet!"

Malrec said, "Yeah so you must be the only person on your planet then. Is that right?"

A soldier walking beside Malrec told Malrec, "We killed kids, women, and men. All the women looked a lot better than this thing."

Malrec said, "It is whatever. We have to head home."

Somewhere else inside the Animus Mateo and the whole team got together.

Kamil said, "We are almost at the Elude."

Luar said, "Why are we even here in the first place?"

Ofurd said, "It has been twenty-five hours since we came to this place. We got very hungry. I thought we don't get hungry here but he did say we feel taste."

Mateo said, "Guys we are almost at the Elude." He was holding a map in his hand. Then he looked up. He said, "It is not here."

Mateo tapped the side of his head twice. He said, "Hey IF can you tell me what we are supposed to do?"

IF-41 said, "I can't say that. I can only tell you when your lives are in danger."

Mateo said, "Ok so what can I do about it?"

IF-41 said, "You can actually call something. Every player has a different ability. Tap on your head twice."

A tablet appeared in front of Mateo's eyes.

Mateo said, "Ok."

IF-41 said, "Click Infuser."

Mateo did that and saw four hearts.

Mateo said, "What is that all about?"

IF-41 said, "It is like this. If you die four times one of your items will get broken. Then you can get four more lives if you die again and again. And if you find something that gives more lives you can use that too."

Then Mateo saw something that said No Jumping for 1 minute per day every day until the end.

Mateo said, "Ok it is fine. I am not a rabbit. I don't need to jump every day. I will give up this one."

IF-41 said, "All four of you need to jump together to bring the door up."

Mateo told everyone to jump. But when Mateo tried to jump he couldn't.

IF-41 said, "Were you even listening to what I just told you?"

IF-41 said, "Ok so if you want to see how much time is left tap on your head, find Jump Per Day, and click on it. Then you get a timer."

Mateo did that and saw the countdown. 5… 4… 3… 2… 1.

Mateo told the others to jump as well. All of them jumped together and watched a tree rise up out of the ground.

All four of them — Kamil, Mateo, Luar, and Ofurd — received a message that said SAY THIS WORD: GPF I AM FROM THE REAL WORLD.

Everyone said it. Then a door appeared.

Luar tried to move the handle to open the door. He got a message that said NOT APPROVED.

Kamil tried. It didn't work.

Ofurd tried. It didn't work either.

IF-41 told Mateo, "You were the one who figured out how to find this door. That is why you have to do it."

Mateo stepped up smiling. He said, "I am the chosen one."

Then Mateo tried to open the door.

NOT APPROVED.

Mateo told IF-41, "Hey what is the meaning of this? I thought it would get unlocked."

IF-41 said, "Now you tap everyone one by one."

Mateo tapped everyone. Then IF-41 told him, "Tell your friend to try to open the door. Whoever you touched first."

Mateo forgot who he touched first. He asked everyone, "Who did I touch first?"

Luar said, "First was Ofurd. Second was me. Third was Kamil."

Mateo said, "Ok. Ofurd you go first. Then Luar. Then you Kamil."

All of them did it. Then they got another message that said STEP ONE COMPLETED.

Then Mateo tried to open it but it didn't work. Another message appeared to Mateo that said TRY AGAIN INCORRECT PASSWORD.

Mateo punched the door.

IF-41 told Mateo, "Do it again. You have to wait ten seconds every time you give the wrong password. The timer gets longer every time. With every wrong password it gets higher and higher even for mutual years."

Mateo said, "Not this time. I don't have time for that."

Mateo said, "Ok listen up guys. I am going to do everything again. I think it works like this. First I open the door. Then everyone I touch goes and tries to open the door."

Luar said, "What if you only touch one person? Would that—"

Mateo said, "No it will not work. Four people are needed."

Luar said, "Ok. Tap me first. Then Ofurd. Then Kamil."

Kamil said, "Why me at last every time?"

Ofurd said, "Maybe you got the worst luck ever. That is why."

Mateo said, "Enough talking. Let's get to work."

Mateo tried to open the door. Then he tapped Luar. Then Ofurd. Then Kamil. All of them did it.

Mateo said, "Ok so I think I am supposed to touch the door handle first. Then after whoever touches it it might work."

Luar held the handle. Then Ofurd held it at the same time. Then Kamil.

All of them got a message that said APPROVED.
