A Week Talk #22

I'm going to open today's AWT with...

I LOVE MY LIFE RIGHT NOW!

Like holy moly, I've been away making content to let my mind a bit loose, and I got more hours playing Skullgirls Mobile, Shin Megami Tensei Dx2, and PvZ Reflorished again. It's such a great feeling.

Now, before people misinterpret my point, I want to be clear. I love writing stories, but it has its own time. I'm not like the other who can just write so much in a short period of time. I mentioned in my TTD semi-hiatus note that I create a story in a bundle, meaning I write several chapters' worth of content, then upload it whenever I want. It's not like I don't like creating stories; it's just that I have my way of making them. That's why I get that blockade sometimes that prevents me from writing.

Anyway, let's move on.

PvZ: Replanted.
What a disaster that was. I mentioned it in my YouTube post, but if you haven't seen it, I'm just going to say to you...
I am refunding the game. I would rather watch people who are really okay with a game that disrespects the OG creator than pay for those MF who disrespect the OG creator.

I'm tired of EA and PopCap burying this franchise 10 meters deep underground. Like, the fan literally had to make their own fan-game/modded game to prevent the franchise from dying. That's how much we fans love this franchise.

Speaking of PvZ, holy fricking freak. I was mind-blown.
You know why?

If you know your Black Butler or JoJo sh*t, you know who this guy is.

My god, I couldn't believe it! I haven't been catching up with his content, but when he played the original PvZ game, I was like, "YOOOOOOO!!"

And then some day this week. Forgot when. He played the second game.
But not just the second game, he played the mod! The Reflourished mod.

Holy.... I couldn't wait, like I couldn't wait for him to reach Big Wave Beach and Jurassic Marsh, the two rage worlds in the original game. I'm so excited.

Next up!
I finally... finally playing Hollow Knight. Yes! I was hesitant to play it because it would take me ages to finish it, but I was like, "Meh, I played Lego City Undercover in between my school day and still managed to finish it. I think I could play this while at my after-work hours, like I did with LCU."

Don't expect me to finish it faster, though. 😂
I'll be finishing that and then reviewing it here. So, please wait for it.

Next one, we got Comic Frontier.
Have you heard about it? That's an Indonesian exclusive (I think) convention. I will be there for two days. That's right! I'm finally going to meet my Twitter/X group friends, I'm so excited.

Oh, I almost forgot. There will be another contest in HoneyFeed, huh? And the themes are... Hmm...
Urban Fantasy and Spotlight Romance.
Should I... join? I have a story with Spotlight Romance themes. It's called "Iya, kami pacaran. Kenapa...?" or in English, "Yes, we're dating. So...?"

The story tells about two young artist getting together, and their fans are not happy with the relationship. Both parties are always harmful towards each other, making the main couple stressed. Even the media pressured them to always be in the spotlight because it there chance to get money out of their story. That's the baseline of the story.

Again, I have sworn not to make a story for any kind of contest, but it's actually intriguing. I could join it and maybe have fun making it. I don't know, though.

K-manga, I've decided to rewrite the whole chapter.
Yeah, I know, it's so stupid. I don't know why I'm like this. 🙃
I'll make it for sure. Don't know when it will be done, though.

Judging by the time I spend on Anime, Manga, and games, I might finish writing it in the last month of Autumn. Lol
