Prologue

The age of war is over. For decades humanity has lived a peaceful life... or at least, that is what we chose to believe. The world has rebuilt itself from ashes, civilization hums once more with life, and the old songs of grief have been buried beneath laughter

But peace is a fragile thing.
When men ceased to fight one another, something else stirred in the quiet — something ancient, something patient.

Long before history could remember, there were those who guarded the balance of the world – beings of light and flame, born from the will of the earth itself. They watched over humankind, shaping their destiny from the shadows.

For every guardian born, a reflection was cast. A creature not of malice, but of imbalance. In time, those reflections became what we have called demons, spirits, or curses. The names changed with time. The danger did not.

The age of war is over...

but the war for the soul of the world has only begun.
