Chapter 6:
『For Me Teleportation Is The Worst Power』
“Wait, why does Nu have more classes than you? I thought you could only have one class?” I asked as I sat down on a bean bag chair.
“A person can have at most three classes, allowing for class exchanges. However, one can only perform a class exchange three times a day,” Elsa replied, sitting on a couch opposite the bean bag chair.
“So, how many classes do you have, Elsa?” I asked, intrigued that I could get three classes.
“Well, I have Archmage and an extra class. It is Grand Summoner, a High Tier Class, which enables me to summon even immortal beings. My last class is something I keep to myself.”
“What about me? I wasn’t told my class at the B.A.G, so I wonder if I could get mine or… is my sole class… being a hero.”
“No, Great Timelord Harald was a Chrono Lord and advanced to Chrono Deity, which is a Kami Tier Class, so that is a great example that you won’t have hero as a class, also you get to choose your class. Most of the time, heroes have the best classes, usually High Tier or greater.”
“Is it a must to start at High Tier?” I asked, hoping to start at a Zero Tier.
“I don’t know the others that well, but, from what I know, you should be able to pick any class.”
“How about we go to the castle to B.A.G’s Class Registration branch? We should be able to register your class, and since you can teleport, we can leave without Boss and Boss Lady knowing,” Nu said excited, but was shut down by Elsa’s death stare.
“Trying to escape again, are we?” said Elsa, flaring up.
“Sister, I just want to do some training on my own.”
“I guess if we ask them, we should be able to visit the Class Registration Branch.” Elsa said, calming down.
Afterwards, we went to meet Chelsea and asked if we could leave to get my class. She allowed us, but on the condition that we would head over to the B.A.G. dungeon to train me a bit more. We agreed, and with that, we took our leave, but I had to carry a dagger for protection if I ever ran out of MP, not that I will.

When we got to B.A.G. C.R., which looked more modern than I thought it should be, guess the heroes’ influence helped in a lot of stuff here. We were directed by the female receptionist to the room to check my class. I was told to place my hand over a crystal, and the most suitable classes would show up. But I told them I would like to get a good view of all classes and register myself based on what I see.
In the end, I chose two Low Tier classes: Sellsword, a jack-of-all-combat trades, and Scout Ranger, a balanced range and melee hybrid. These two feel okay for me since I won’t rely too much on my teleportation, especially since travelling to my specified destination is a one in six chance.
I had a thought of getting a third class, but I decided to leave it. Also, it turned out that I needed to set one of the two as my main job class, so I set it to Scout Ranger, basically because I like it better. After the peaceful excursion to the C.R, we went to the dungeon where I was to train.
*****
“Slimes. They totally ruined my mood.” I said as we reached a little bit deep into the first floor.

After the walk here, Elsa, Nu and I went to the registrar, who is assigned to keep track of people who enter the dungeon. The registrar was a woman with black hair and eyes, and she spoke with a soft tone as she directed us on what to do.
“So it seems you are new here, Mr Irashime.”
“Well of course he’s new, Great Shinta is the hero!”
“T-T-T-THE H-H-H-H-H-HEROOOOOOO!” the registrar said with her face full of surprise, as though she would die from shock. “I-I-I-I am v-very…s-s-sorry, I didn’t know I was addressing the hero with such causality.”
“Sir Hero? Sir Hero? Sir Hero! Sir Hero! Sir Hero! Sir Hero” chanted the adventurers moving from a confused tone to a tone of excitement as they ran towards the boy with crimson hair.
“Wait, wait, I am just here to train a bit like you guys.” I said trying to calm the crowd before turning to the registrar. “I may be the hero but I will prefer you address me like other adventurers so as not to cause a scene.”
“Y-y-yes, I will Master Irashime.”
Talk about a rough start on my first visit to a dungeon. After my registration, we went to explore the dungeon. It turns out a person’s first ten visits to the dungeon are free, while for a party, the first five visits are free. Entrance into the dungeon is worth three silver coins for a person, but for a party, it is ten to sixty silvers depending on the number of members in the group, with a limit iof twenty members.
When we headed to the entrance of the dungeon, there were two doors. The bigger one was the main entrance to Floor Zero, the training ground, similar to a labyrinth I read about in a novel. The only difference is that it has a thousand floors, not a hundred, but Floor Zero was added about two centuries ago to train novice adventurers. Talk about nostalgic, even though I have never been here.
The second door led to the Teleportation Rooms, ten rooms which teleport people to floors they have registered entering. Apparently, you use you adventure card to register yourself on that floor, so if you have not registered, you can’t be sent to those floors, and because this is my first time, I have to start with floor one.
“Nu, do you have the Returns?”
“I sure do! But the line was pwetty long.” She replied with a good sense of fulfilment, but ended up sounding sad talking about the line.
“What are Returns?” I asked as we ventured into Floor Zero and straight to the stairs.
“They are orbs registered with two functions.” Said Nu. “One of them is sending us back to the surface. When we feel like we have conquered enough floors for the day, we set the orbs to take us back.”
“The other function is revitalization or resurrection, as the case may be.” Explained Elsa. “When one dies within the dungeon, they are immediately respawned back at the entrance, but only if they die; if they are still alive even though fatally wounded, they have to use the first option.”
Elsa also mentioned that they can be used within the spherical barrier of the Basilisk Adventure Guild, which covers the entire continent, excluding some places of uncharted territory that no country owns. One of them is the Infinity Dungeon that rebuilds itself ten years after being cleared. Nu added that no one who enters there can leave without clearing it, she also stated that two of Galim’s subordinates conquered it to be the final bosses, and with Galim’s permission. They also rebuilt it, making themselves the boss, those two being Cinderwolf Prime, Theron, and Eternity Serpent, Presence.
“This Galim gu-…girl was a treat, wasn’t she? I wondered how they defeated her. The Six Great Heroes, huh, they were strong enough to defeat her nineteen generals and her within the space of a year.” I said spacing out and thinking, if they were that strong, then how strong am I?
We finally arrived at the first floor, which was fifty meters below the FZ(Floor Zero). Apparently, all floors are that much apart, but every hundred floors they double, meaning that the space between floor one hundred and one hundred and one is one hundred. Double that and keep going every hundred floors.

“Slimes. They totally ruined my mood.” I said as we reached a little bit deep into the first floor.
“What do you mean, everybody loves killing slimes, and they are the weakest after all.” Nu said
“Well, can’t blame me,” I replied bringing out my dagger. “It’s just my favourite manga character, no character as a whole is a slime.”
With that, I sped past the slimes and killed them in a single hit, which makes sense since their stats were one at best in each category. Scan is pretty useful, I guess; knowing when the opp is powerful or weak can be useful.
“Is there a way to bypass Scan?” I asked as we went deeper.
“Why the qwestion?” asked Nu
“Just to know I guess, I have seen stuff about concealing one’s strength mana and faking weakness, so I just want to know if that is possible here.”
“Fake technique. Reduction technique. Those two are the only skills that can do so.” Elsa replied to my question. “Fake helps make your stats look higher or lower than it is, but does not make you stronger or weaker; meanwhile, Reduction only helps temporarily reduce your stats to make you weaker.”
“Can anyone use it?” I asked.
“Nay, only those who are level hundred or above can.”
“Meaning I can’t use it, huh?” I said, pondering before we reached the next group of slimes. Coming forward to fight them. “Is there a way to bypass Fake?”
“Using Scan on top of Scan until all Fake layers are removed, but consider your fatigue meter doing so.”
“Thanks.”
*****
“Well, that was good enough for one afternoon.” Elsa said as we left the dungeon.
“Sister, you said that well. Great Shinta, how much XP did you get?”
“Fifty XP, that is good enough for day one. How about you guys?” I asked, turning my head back to both of them.
“We got twenteen-five each. You got the most XP because you killed them; party members only get half as much if they were in the battle at the time.”
“Guess I will increase my stats when we get back. Either way, I forgot to ask about this earlier, how one can upgrade their class.”
“Class Upgrade and the Class Upgrade Festival. The former is done after reaching level two hundred and the next at four hundred up to level one thousand. The latter is done every year by adventure guilds, countries, and the Dynasty. It is held for each category in a tournament, and the winner for that category can get a Class upgrade and at times, people can change classes.”
“I got the chance to change from Mercenary to Assassin during the event.” Added Nu.
I guess class upgrade is harder than I thought, when we get back, I need to research more on this world. Mr Jakins would love to hear about this. I should even write a web novel on this. This progression feels more like I am a shonen protagonist but in the end I am in a parallel world, I wonder what happened to Galim in the end, she sounded like power could rival the gods of the multiverse, such a threat existed well glad she isn’t my problem.
“Also, just so you know, you can only upgrade to the next level above, meaning that a Low Tier can only move up to Mid-Tier, either at the festival or every two hundred levels.” Elsa said.

The door to the library opened, and as usual, the magic-powered lamps illuminated the room. As it did I walked in towards the white soft board at the left-hand side of the door and looked for which shelf had the books about levelling up and stats, which was shelf seventy-seven.
*All About The Classes.*, *The Seven Steps About Levelling Up Fast.*, *The Rules of Levelling up.*
“The Rules of Levelling up written by Okubo Daisuke. English Version. Translated by George Friedman. This is the book I have been looking for.”
*****
The first thing to know about levelling up is that it is just like a game known as Tower Wreckers, a very popular game from my childhood during the 2010s. I was quite good at the.
“Wait a minute, this guy was registered as the first hero, Alex told me about all the heroes every summoned, is there some kind of lore behind this?”
There is a possibility that there are multiple versions of earth in the multiverse, which could explain why those great heroes named the world based on that. But I need more information about whether this is a fact or if there is a different lore like the Earth resets after some time.
“Either way, I need to continue reading.”
There are six main categories in which one needs to level up in, those being the attack, defence, MP, strength, speed, and IQ. Each of the categories starts with five for each heroes and person born, and they start at a level of thirty; they can later on develop on these categories as they so see fit for their classes or strengths.
For heroes levelling up they need two hundred XP to level up once either on attack, defence or the other four, while for sole inhabitants it is one hundred and fifty XP needed for the same action, the main level up is similar but different for heroes a total XP of one thousand added from the six categories, while for the born inhabitants of Fellpath doing the same action needs a total XP of nine hundred.
The upgrading of the categories solely depends on the adventurer. I was a type who mostly focused on my physical stats, that being my attack and defence, after those were my strength and speed, before my IQ and then MP. In the next chapter, I will write about the monsters and races, their average stats, excluding the powerful members of their species, and the XP that can be gotten from killing them.
This is my first time writing a book, so the chapters will be short. I hope the future heroes or those who pick up this book will bear with me.
*****
“So, is that why this book looks like a small Make Today Count, but a way smaller version? I guess I can read it in my free time.” I said, closing the book and leaving the library with it. “I wonder when my real adventure will start.”
Fifty XP, I will put it all in my attack, making my attack fifty-five; defence, strength, speed and IQ five; and my MP twenty thousand. My power level is eighty, but my main level is still at zero; my green game-like system is just floating before me as I walk down the corridor to my room.
