Chapter 10:

The Battle at the Shore

Tatva- The Awakening of Elements

The roar of the sea drowned the cries of the night.Thunder cracked above Sagarapur as waves tore apart the shore. The Lobster King, Karkotaka, stood like a mountain of armor and fury, claws gleaming under flashes of lightning.
From the wrecked docks, Aryan dragged Kedar’s limp body across the sand, his mechanical gauntlet sparking.Steam hissed from Kedar’s cracked combat suit — his breathing shallow, body motionless.
> “You idiot,” Aryan muttered, voice trembling. “You actually pulled it off… blasted that thing to the surface. But now—”

A deep tremor shook the ground. The sea foamed again as hundreds of smaller lobster minions crawled from the surf, clicking claws like drums of war.
Villagers screamed and ran for cover.Aryan raised his wrist, activating his half-damaged armor. The blue light flickered weakly.
> “So it’s me against an army, huh?”He smirked grimly. “Fine. Let’s see how long a genius can last.”

---
The Clash of Titans
Farther down the beach, Anant and Shakti stood before the raging Karkotaka. Each breath came with fire and exhaustion. The monster’s shell cracked in places, molten lines glowing through the fissures Kedar had made underwater — but its power hadn’t faded. It had grown.
> “You defied the deep,” the beast’s voice echoed in their minds. “Now the deep devours you.”

Anant spun his chakras into motion, twin wheels of golden light cutting through the rain.Shakti’s aura flared, forming a double-edged glaive that shimmered violet-white.
They charged.
Karkotaka’s claws came down like hammers.Anant rolled aside, sending his chakras spinning to slice through one limb. The blow chipped shell but didn’t pierce.
Shakti dashed across the sand, cutting through the same spot — sparks and blood sprayed as her aura burned into the wound.
The Lobster King roared, tail sweeping sideways with hurricane force. Shakti blocked with her glaive, but the impact threw her across the beach. She slammed into a rock outcrop and crumpled to the ground.
> “Shakti!” Anant shouted, running toward her.

She tried to rise, trembling, but her vision blurred.
> “I… I can still—”

Her knees buckled. The glaive dissolved into thin air as she collapsed, unconscious.

---
Aryan’s Stand
Near the docks, Aryan fought like a man possessed. His blades flashed through the storm, each slash accompanied by bursts of plasma.
He ducked beneath a claw, spun, and impaled a creature through the abdomen. Two more lunged — he blocked one, kicked the other back into a burning hut.
The suit’s display flickered red:
> ⚠ SYSTEM DAMAGE — 63%⚠ CORE TEMP — 87°C

> “Damn it… suit’s barely holding together.”

Behind him, Kedar lay unmoving, and beyond that, villagers huddled in the ruins.
One of the lobster minions crawled toward them.Aryan dashed, stabbing through its head just before it reached a crying child.
He panted, clutching his ribs. “Stay… behind me!”
The minions regrouped, circling him.Aryan raised both blades, whispering:
> “C’mon, Vishwakarma… bless your student now.”

He slammed his wrist console, triggering a surge.Overdrive Mode engaged.
The suit screamed to life, plasma veins pulsing bright blue.Aryan dashed forward in a blur, cutting through the swarm in radiant arcs. For every one he cut, two replaced it.
Blood, sparks, and sand filled the air.And then—his power sputtered.
> ⚠ Overdrive Time Remaining: 90 seconds

Aryan dropped to one knee, breathing hard.He looked at his suit — wires sparking, armor dented — then at Kedar’s still form.
> “You always protect us, huh? Not tonight.”

He dragged himself behind a shattered cart, flipping open his toolkit. Sparks flew as he began repairing his suit mid-battle.Every screw twist echoed with desperation. He burned his fingers, ignoring the pain.
> “You’re gonna need me again… and I’ll be ready.”

---
Anant’s Fury
On the far end of the beach, Anant faced Karkotaka alone. He stood over Shakti’s unconscious form, blood trickling from his forehead.
The monster raised its claw to strike.Anant’s chakras whirled, forming a radiant shield. The impact cracked it instantly, sending shockwaves through his arms.
> “You think you can protect them?” the beast mocked.“You cannot even protect yourself.”

Anant’s eyes narrowed.
> “I’m done running.”

He crossed his hands. His chakras spun faster, fusing into a single glowing circle.
> “Chakra Sutra — Divine Spiral!”

The wheel roared to life, slamming into Karkotaka’s chest. The creature reeled backward as its armor cracked.
But Anant fell to his knees, gasping.Blood dripped from his palms — his Prana nearly drained.
> “Come on, Kedar… I can’t hold him much longer…”

---
The Flame Rekindled
The sea was red. The air, thick with smoke and salt.
Aryan finished patching his suit just in time to parry another blow from a minion. His armor hissed, lights dimmed — but it worked.
He turned toward Kedar. The boy’s body twitched, faint steam curling from his wounds.
The air shimmered with heat. The sand beneath him began to glow faint orange.
> “No way…” Aryan whispered.

Kedar’s fingers tightened into a fist.
A pulse of red Prana erupted outward — a heartbeat that shook the entire shore. The steam turned to flame.
His eyes snapped open — bright crimson.
The ground beneath him scorched.
Aryan stumbled back, shielding his visor. “He’s awake…”
Kedar rose slowly, flames dancing from the cracks of his broken armor. His expression was unreadable, calm — yet the storm of rage behind those eyes could have burned the sea itself.
> “Where is he?” Kedar’s voice was low, but it rolled like thunder.

Aryan pointed toward the cliffs. “Anant and Shakti… they’re—”
Kedar was already gone, a blur of fire and motion, tearing across the burning sand.

---
The Return of the Flame
Karkotaka raised his claw to crush Anant. The sky flashed crimson.A fiery punch collided with the monster’s face, sending it skidding backward through the surf.
Kedar landed beside Anant, eyes glowing, steam rising from his shoulders.
Anant looked up, smiling weakly. “Took you long enough.”
Kedar smirked. “You warmed him up for me.”
Behind them, Aryan’s repaired suit powered up again. He raised his blades, facing the regrouping minions.
> “Let’s finish this.”

The three fronts of the battle aligned once more —The flame, the chakra, and the machine —ready to face the king of the abyss.
And above them, lightning tore the sky open as if the gods themselves watched.
