Chapter 13:
Rudra Singha
“Once upon a time… Adi Shankar,” the Sadhu began.
Rudra interrupted, “Adi Shankar? Oh! I remember him… He was the Master of Chakra!”
The Sadhu nodded. “Yes,” he said, and began the story.
Adi Shankar once thought, ‘Everyone desires the power of the Chakra Stone. I must hide it before it falls into the wrong hands.’
So he broke the Chakra Stone into several smaller pieces and hid them in different parts of the world.
To protect the secret of the Chakra, Adi Shankar created a special bracelet—the Saktra, the Key of Chakra.
This bracelet held the power to transform its wearer into different demon species, depending on their spirit and emotions.
The Sadhu looked at Rudra and said seriously,
“Kid, the bracelet you’re wearing… it’s the same Saktra—the Key of Chakra. So be very careful.”
Rudra’s eyes widened. “Really? That’s amazing! So… can I transform into any demon? That’s so cool!”
The Sadhu shook his head.
“Yes… but you can’t control it yet. In the temple, when you transformed into that monster, you forgot who you were. You lost control completely. You must learn responsibility before you use this power again. It’s not ‘cool,’ Rudra—it’s dangerous. It could cost you your life.”
Before Rudra could reply, the Sadhu vanished in a flash of light.
Rudra looked around the room in confusion. “Where did he go?” he whispered.
He checked the time—it was already late at night. Still tired and confused, he lay on his bed.
“I’ll think about it tomorrow… I have school,” he murmured and fell asleep.
In his dream, Rudra found himself standing in a strange, empty world. Everything was blank and silent. No trees, no houses—nothing but endless white space.
He looked around and muttered, “What is this place? There’s nothing here… It’s like my exam paper—completely blank.”
He shouted, “Mom! Dad! Where are you? Oh, God… I’m tired of walking.”
Then he stopped suddenly. “Huh? What’s that?”
In the distance, shadowy figures began moving toward him. As they came closer, he realized—they were monsters, hundreds of them, rushing straight at him!
Rudra panicked. “No… no! Big, ugly monsters! Run!”
He looked at his wrist, hoping to use the Saktra—but the bracelet was gone. “Where is it?! Not now!”
Before he could escape, one of the monsters grabbed him tightly. Rudra looked up—and froze.
It was Rakshasa, the same demon he had once become.
Rudra trembled. “Oh… hey, you’re a good demon, right? Please… don’t kill me…”
Rakshasa roared and raised his claws to strike—
But before he could attack, Rudra’s alarm clock rang loudly.
Rudra woke up with a gasp. He looked around—he was safe, back in his bedroom.
He sighed in relief. “It was just… a dream.”
He rubbed his eyes. “But… it felt so real…”
The Next MorningAt school, Rudra felt sleepy and distracted. His mind was full of thoughts about monsters and the Saktra bracelet.
“Rudra!” the teacher called. “Answer the question.”
Rudra blinked, confused. “Uh… I don’t know, ma’am.”
The teacher sighed. “Rudra, please focus in class.”
Before anyone could say more, the ground began to shake violently.
An earthquake struck—the classroom rattled, desks and chairs trembling.
“Everyone, get under the tables!” the teacher shouted.
After a few moments, the shaking stopped.
The teacher stood up and said calmly, “Students, don’t worry—it was just a mild tremor.”
But Rudra sat still, eyes wide. That wasn’t normal… something’s not right, he thought.
Meanwhile…Far away, the Black Sadhu stood inside his dark cave, his eyes glowing red.
He raised his hands and said,
“Agni… it’s time. Go, and show the world who truly rules this place! Burn everything that stands in your way… and bring me the Saktra.”
The fiery monster Agni bowed his head, flames rising from his shoulders.
“As you command, Master.”
The Black Sadhu smirked.
“Go now, my creation… The boy cannot hide forever. Hahaha!”
As Agni leapt into the burning sky, the Black Sadhu whispered,
“Kid… it’s time for you to awaken your destiny and protect this town. Let’s see how long you can survive.”
