Chapter 5 (Volume 1)

CHAPTER 5 V1 

45 minutes ago... 

A group of jocks walk down the school hallway, laughing and and making crude jokes, but one of them turns down a different hallway.

"Later." He says with a wave. 

"See ya Tadashi" The others say while they continue walking. 

The jock, Tadashi Meyers, walks down the hallway with his hands in his pockets, whistling. He reaches his locker and takes out his bag and football helmet. 

'I don't have a game until Saturday. Good thing too. Doc is having some sort of meeting with a student tomorrow.' He thinks in his head. 

'What should I eat for dinner-' Tadashi's thoughts are interrupted by the sound of gunfire ringing throughout the school. 

He doesn't see the gunman, but he heard it loud and clear. Then the sound of screams quickly followed. 

He quickly shoves his bag and helmet back in the locker then kicks it shut. He hears footsteps nearby and looks in the reflection of the window to look around the corner. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. 

"What's General Dyma doing here?" He mumbles to himself.

"If he sees me, I'm dead."

After a quick scan of the area he climbs up the lockers and pushes the ceiling up and climbs in, placing down the panel just in time before they come around. 

"If Intel is correct, she should have a mark underneath her right jaw shaped like a sun." The general says sharply. 

The men walk away, their voices fading. And when Tadashi is sure they are gone, he opens up the ceiling and jumps back down. 

'Sun mark? But if I remember correctly that girl...' Tadashi puts a hand on his chin. 

He smirks. 

"Oh yeah... I bully that girl." He mumbles. 

'But what did she possibly do to get one of the twelve generals to come after her? General Dyma works directly under King Oshina...' Tadashi groans. 

"Best thing to do is leave it be." 

Tadashi crosses the hallway and opens up the window, putting a leg up to hop out. But he stops before he could slip out and groans. 

"Ugh... I forgot doc." He closes the window and starts walking towards the stairs with hands casually in his pockets, ducking out of sight when someone approached. 

He enters the science class but frowns when he sees Mr Yuri (Doc) dead on the floor. He sighs then grabs a couple things out of his jacket then bends down to his dead body. He puts some gloves on and takes out some scissors and cuts some of his hair and puts it in a little bag. 

Then he takes a little sponge-like object and it absorbs up his blood. He then places in into a small container. He takes out his phone then takes a photo of Mr. Yuri's dead face and body then puts it back into his pocket.

"Don't mind me doc..." Tadashi rips a piece of paper from Mr. Yuri's notebook and grabs a pen and scribbles down some notes. 

He chucks the pen over his shoulder and folds the paper and tucks it away into his pants. 

Tadashi takes off his gloves and shoves it in his back pocket. He's looks out the window to see a great amount of soldiers running around. His eyebrow twitches. 

"Crazy how one day can change so quickly." He says to himself then walks out of the class. 

He hears more gunshot and several people running not far from his location. He rolls his eyes and calmly walks into the Janitor's closet. 

He sits there listening. After listening for a little, he could decipher what he was hearing. Three or four big adults he assumes are soldiers and a small student. 

'Since I'm such a nice guy..." He thinks as he quickly opens the door, grabbing the student and covering her mouth, yanks her in, and closes the door silently. 

'Might as well play hero.'
