Karina's Plan Revealed

The room was filled with a dense, almost suffocating air.

Karina's perfume filled the air like a sweet, poisonous mist. Hiroshi and Katamuta gazed at her with fascination and fear, a mixture I knew well.

— You look wonderful. And on top of that, you smell amazing. — he said Katamuta , the voice wavering.

Karina tilted her head, smiling with a hint of vanity.

"I stayed like this just for you," Karina said .

She brought her hands to her own body, slowly undoing the cloak. The fabric slipped to the floor, revealing her fair skin and the otherworldly glow that seemed to emanate from her.

"But... why is Hiroshi here? I thought it would just be the two of us," she asked softly.

" Can't a succubus handle two at the same time?" he teased. Katamuta , trying to disguise his nervousness with humor.

Karina looked up, and her eyes seemed to glow red.

"Is this what you want to test? I hope you don't disappoint me," Karina said .

The tension in the air became almost palpable.

I felt the ground vibrate beneath my feet, and tiny sparks of energy began to dance around the bed.

Katamuta and Hiroshi were kneeling, heads bowed, eyes vacant.

Karina, breathless, smiled with a satisfied glint in her eyes.

"I finally did it... now I can control them for up to fifteen minutes," Karina said happily.

I saw the scarlet marks shining on both their chests, symbols of a pact.

That wasn't just seduction. It was dominance.

"So, my little dog... could you tell me where you got that tool they put on my son's back?" She turned to Katamuta , her sweet voice contrasting with her sharp gaze.

My heart froze.

— I got it from a man in China named Zheng "Peng ," Katamuta replied without hesitation, his voice hoarse and distant.

"I understand... do you know where he lives?" she asked .

"In Shanghai. I have his number," he replied . Katamuta .

Karina calmly extended her hand.

"Pick up the phone," Karina said .

Katamuta obeyed without question. She dialed the number.

A voice replied in Mandarin:

— No hǎo , Katamuta . (Hello, Katamuta .)

Karina remained silent.

— Shuō dian shénme , Katamuta . (Say something, Katamuta .)

She smiled, turning off the device.

Okay, my puppies... you can play in the living room.

Hiroshi and Katamuta stood up, staggering, and left obediently, as if something within them had been lost.

Shouta and I remained hidden under the bed, not daring to breathe.

Karina raised her hand and murmured words in an ancient language.

Luminous symbols floated in the air.

A portal opened before her, and from it emerged a tall figure with silver hair and cold eyes, Elfherinsei .

The ground trembled. His power made the air vibrate.

"I hope it's important to summon me to this foul world," he said disdainfully.

"And you... are naked again. You used your powers to seduce someone, didn't you?" he asked. Elfherinsei .

Karina laughed sarcastically.

"Are you jealous, by any chance?" Karina asked .

"Stop the nonsense and say what you want," he said . Elfhrinsei .

"I found him," Karina replied .

I felt my heart race.

"Were they looking for someone?"

Elfherinsei smiled slightly.

"Did you find... Merlin?!" he asked. Elfhrnsei .

My blood ran cold.

"Merlin... the wizard of legends? Is that real?"

Karina nodded.

"I've found out where that bastard is," Karina replied .

Elfherinsei narrowed his eyes.

"Then let's capture him," he said . Elfhrinsei smiling.

"Not so fast. He's in Shanghai, and we need a plane," Karina explained .

Elfherinsei sighed, annoyed.

"What a tedious human process," he said . Elfhrinsei .

"I'll go there tomorrow. I'll let you know when I get there," Karina said .

Elfherinsei made an impatient gesture.

"Okay. But I hate waiting," he said . Elfhrinsei .

Then, a cry echoed in the hallway.

He turned around immediately.

"There's a child here. Let's kill it and get this over with quickly," he said . Elfhrinsei .

Karina raised her hand.

"Don't be an idiot. If we do that, the police will find traces. I like to kill without leaving a trace," Karina said .

"So what do you suggest?" he asked. Elfhrinsei .

"Let's erase her memory. First, we take her back to the room. Then you make her faint and erase what you saw." His voice sounded cold and methodical.

Elfherinsei nodded.

— Understood. — he said Elfhrinsei .

My body went cold.

She knew we were here.

Shouta 's arm .

"We need to distract her," I whispered.

— How? — he replied softly.

That's when I saw Karina's clothes scattered on the floor.

"Take her clothes and throw them out the window," I said.

"What?! That 's... very embarrassing!" she said . Shouta .

"If you don't go, I will," said Yumi .

I tried to get up, but my body wouldn't respond. The fever was holding me back.

Shouta sighed deeply, gathered his clothes, and threw them out the window. He returned breathless, his face burning.

Karina entered the room soon after, walking calmly.

Katamuta 's notebook and began to type.

"Now that's more like it. I have Merlin's address. I just need to get dressed..." said Karina.

She looked around.

"Where are my clothes?!" Karina asked .

His eyes flashed with fury.

Katamuta 's wardrobe and took out a coat.

"I'm going to put this on and leave right away," said Karina.

But before he could take a step, the television turned on by itself.

On the screen, Hiroshi and Katamuta appeared chained together, looking at her.

Karina crossed her arms.

"So you turned on the cameras to beg for mercy?" Karina asked .

"You're not leaving this house alive," Katamuta said, his voice hoarse.

"You're hilarious, Katamuta ," Karina said , laughing.

That's when the air in the hallway began to distort.

Karina opened the door and found herself in another room, Katamuta 's daughter's bedroom . She went back, opened another door, and fell into the bathroom.

"What the hell is going on here?!" she shouted , angrily.

Katamuta 's voice echoed off the walls.

Karina clenched her teeth.

"Lucky for me... that's where I left you tied up. I'm going to end this now!" Karina shouted .

She fired a burst of crimson energy at the door. Not a scratch.

Katamuta laughed.

"You'll need more luck, my dear," he said . Katamuta confident.

Karina glared at him furiously.

"Luck has nothing to do with it," Karina said .

She noticed Hiroshi fiddling with something in the corner.

"I already threw the device in the toilet and flushed it!" Hiroshi replied , teasing her.

Karina's eyes widened.

"You guys are crazy! How do you plan to get out of here?!" Karina asked angrily.

Hiroshi and Katamuta exchanged glances.

"We didn't think about that!" they both shouted;

And before they could laugh at their own misfortune, a scream pierced the house—loud, feminine, and coming from the living room.

My heart tightened.

"The night is far from over..."
