Adventurer's Guild?

(Lucan was running through the woods shirtless as he bounded down a steep hill and kicked off a tree to keep his momentum going before coming to a sudden stop and unsheathing his blade and slowly practicing with it as he then began to breath heavy before he sprinted at a tree and slashed it but was disappointed when nothing happened as he put his clothes and upper armor back on before walking away. As Lucan walked away the top of the tree fell off as he had no clue.)

Lucan: "I'm not really improving any with the blade; you said if I keep at it then I will show promise in only a few weeks. Well its been 2 weeks and I'm tired of the same thing."
Xylos: "Don't blame me for the fact you're an idiotic oaf that can't understand that it takes time to learn how to properly wield a sword."
Lucan: "I think its time I go and find a way to get real experience."

(Lucan was walking down the dirt path as he slowly approached the entrance to the capitol as the guards waved at him as he passed through as he slowly headed towards the Inn he was staying in as he arrived he entered and sat at a table where the waitress brought over a big cup of ale and placed it in front of him.)
Lucan: "Thanks Juliana."
Juliana: "Of course, you pretty much order the same thing each time." (Juliana smiled at Lucan for a few seconds before turning around and walking away as Lucan lifted the cup to his mouth and took a big swig.)

Lucan (Thinking): "I need to find a way to make some money; staying here is burning through the gold that I was paid by Kiyomi slowly, I also need to find a way to gain some experience in real combat and other things." (Just as Lucan was thinking to himself a loud commotion came from the direction of the front door to the Inn as a man covered in thick coated blood crashed through the door and stumbled up to the counter.)

Man: "Please someone help me; I need healing but I'm not sure I will make it."
Juliana: "Oh my you're really injured, let me go get the doctor."
Lucan: "Are you alright sir? What happened to you." (Lucan caught the man as he began to fall as Juliana ran off to get her coat and fetch the doctor as Lucan realized the man didn't have long.)
Lucan: "No need Juliana; I'll get him there myself, he won't last long enough."

(Lucan picked the man up in his arms as he took off out the door and started to sprint down the streets towards the Guild hall of Verdant Hearth as he weaved in and out of people, carts, and stalls as he covered lots of distance with his long legs and eventually got to the front door of the guild hall.)
Lucan: "It's super early, I'm not sure anyone will be here but we can only hope." (Lucan knocked on the door as he waited as a minute passes and the door slowly opens to see a messy haired Gwenlyn holding a candle as her sleepy eyes quickly woke up as she spotted the severely injured man in his arms.)
Gwenlyn: "I see this isn't just a friendly visit."
Lucan: "Sadly not, this man came into the Inn I am staying at and I didn't think he'd survive waiting for a doctor so I ran him here."
Gwenlyn: "Bring him in." (Lucan walked past Gwenlyn as she gestured inside with her arm and she closed the door with a shiver as Lucan placed the man on one of the examining tables as Gwenlyn put on her coat and began to examine him as Lucan sat in a chair against a wall and watched.)

Gwenlyn: "He's in bad shape; seems he was attacked and bitten by a beast of some sorts."
Lucan: "Its a good thing you are here; I don't know a better healer and I couldn't even discern what happened to him."
Gwenlyn: "Now don't flatter me Lucan, we're not that close yet."
Lucan: "I- Uh that's not what I was trying to do Gwenlyn." (Lucan scratched the back of his head as Gwenlyn gave him a little laugh as she then walked over and grabbed a small magic wand and began to wave it over the man as it scanned his body and she determined what she needed as she made a mixture of things in a small cup and fed it to the man. The man shot awake in a fury of pain and flailed his arms and legs around as he hit Gwenlyn and knocked her back.)

Lucan: "Watch out!" (Lucan stood up and stepped forward catching Gwenlyn with one arm as he quickly restrained the man and the Man slowly calmed down before Lucan wiped the sweat from his brow, he looked to see if Gwenlyn was alright when he noticed he had pressed her directly against his body in a hug style hold as she was blushing and he quickly let go and stepped back.)
Lucan: "Forgive me, I did not mean to get so close I just wanted to make sure you were alright."
Gwenlyn: "Thank you Lucan, I truly do appreciate it."

(Gwenlyn walked over to the table and faced away from Lucan as he nervously sat back down with a red face.)
Lucan: "Anyway, do you know this man and why he's so injured?"
Gwenlyn: "My guess would be he's from the adventurers guild and he was probably on a quest."
Lucan: "Adventurers guild?"
Gwenlyn: "A guild separate from the Mages Association, they take quests that we don't; you may look into joining them yourself, you'd fit in perfectly."
Lucan: "Maybe I will; I appreciate you helping him, but I'm quite tired so I am going to take my leave."

(Lucan opened the door and waved at Gwenlyn as all she did was stare at him before he walked out and she held herself blushing from the thought of being so close to Lucan before she sighed and shook her head.)
Gwenlyn: "He's far too dense sadly."

Lucan: "So The Adventurer's guild huh?"
Xylos: "So the boy plans to join the Adventurers guild is that it?"
Lucan: "I guess that's the best option for me as of right now; it will allow me to get experience."
Xylos: "Except you bring nothing to the table." (Lucan kept walking as he pondered what he's good at as he stopped to ask someone about the guilds Headquarters as he got an answer he eventually found himself standing outside and looking at it as many interesting people were going in and out of the building.)

(Lucan walked into the building and looked around to see bulletin boards with plaques above them that tell you what rank the correlating quests are for as the building was full of many different types of people that he realized as he waited his turn to get to the front of the reception desk as after 20 minutes he was to the front and talking to the receptionist.)
Receptionist: "Hello! Welcome to the Adventurers Guild; are you interested in posting a quest or joining today?"
Lucan: "I'm interested in joining today."
Receptionist: "Fantastic! Fill this out and we will assign you to a team as soon as you want, of course if a team accepts the request."
(Lucan grabbed the quill and started to fill out the paper as the Receptionist waited and when he finished he handed her the paper as she walked over and looked over it as she then stamped it and put it in a cabinet where it disappears and turns into a badge as she walks back over and hands it to Lucan.)

Receptionist: "Congratulations you are officially a member of the Adventurers guild; you are a C-Rank or to make it more simple a Pebble Rank. I noticed you said on your form that you'd like to find a team immediately?"
Lucan: "Yes as soon as possible would be great."
Receptionist: "We will find you one today, please sit over there and I'll ask some teams about you possibly joining them." (Lucan walked over to a sitting area and sat down as the Receptionist left from behind the counter and started to walk up to different men and women asking them whether or not they would like to accept Lucan as their newest member. She talked to quite a few one after another.)
Xylos: "It's not looking good for you kid, not a single one of them are saying yes; to them you are useless."
Lucan: "Shut up Xylos, someone will allow me to join their Party, and if they don't I'll go out on my own."
(The Receptionist walked over to Lucan with a sad face as he stood up.)
Lucan: "I think I can guess, no one wanted me in their party."
Receptionist: "Sadly not, your lack of experience and skills are what make them not want you."
???: "Hey are you the newbie that needs a party to join?"
Lucan: "That's me."
???: "Hmph, you're quite the big guy; what skills do you have? I see you have a sword can you use it?"
Lucan: "I can somewhat use a sword and I am pretty much well versed in every other survival technique."
???: "I see, well if you're not willing to do much then you can join me and my party, we are gonna go on a long quest and could use someone like you."
Lucan: "I'd be honored."

???: "The names Elara Faelind, I'm the leader of the party and I expect you to do your part when we are out there, Meet us at this location tomorrow morning and be ready for rough work."
Lucan: "Will do, its a pleasure to be working with you and your party." (Elara handed Lucan a map with one of the gates of the town marked as she looked up at him and he grabbed it as she walked away and left the building.)
Receptionist: "Congratulations on your first party! Remember to have fun but also be safe out there."
Lucan: "Thank you, I will make sure to do so."

(Lucan left the guild hall and headed for a specific shop and as he arrived he entered to the greetings of Volker.)
Volker: "Ah Lucan! That was not very long lad, what can Volker do for you?"
Lucan: "Well Volker I just joined the Adventurers guild and a party; we set out for a quest tomorrow and I would like to purchase some throwing axes, a dagger, and some throwing daggers."
Volker: "Of course, that will only be 2 gold coins for you Lucan."
Lucan: "Thank you Volker, and while we are at it do you know where the fletcher is?" (Volker grabbed all the things that Lucan asked for and as he asked for a fletcher he fetched a bow and some arrows and placed it all on the counter.)
Volker: "You're looking at him lad, now for all of this I will make it simple and charge you only 4 gold coins."

(As Lucan dug into his pouch to get out the correct coins to pay him, the door of the shop swung open as a large burly man in armor walked in followed by a young woman with light red hair and a very soft complexion wearing training armor as she had a Rapier on her hip.)
Lucan: "Here you go, 4 gold coins."
Volker: "Thank you lad, What may I do for your this time Miss?"
???: "Why do you always ask this? I come in to have you do the same thing each time and you always ask. I need you to sharpen my Sword you idiot."
Volker: "Of course My Lady."

(Lucan looked back and forth between them as he put the things he bought on his person and slung the bow over his shoulder and went to leave as the Burly man eyed him down and as he opened the door and was about to step out he heard a shout from behind him and slowly turned around.)
???: "Who do you think you are to not address me and simply walk out?"
Lucan: "Uhhhh.... Who are you?" (The Girl looked flabbergasted as anger started to boil inside her as her face got red and she marched over to Lucan and looked up at him with her hands on her hips.)

???: "I am Astrid Graves of the Graves family; the ones that govern this capitol and region and you will respect me and my name!"
Lucan: "Well its nice meeting you; but I got to get going." (Lucan went to turn as she let out an angry grasp and attempted to grab his arm to turn him back around as he swung and she was sent flying to the ground with a crash as the armored man then pulled his blade and put it to Lucan's throat as Lucan looked at it.)
Lucan: "That was an accident, I promise I didn't mean to do that; if she hadn't grabbed me it wouldn't of happened."
Leopold Cross: "You attempted to harm The Lady of House Graves, she will decide your fate and we will go from there." (Astrid got up and angrily dusted herself off as she walked back up and angrily left as she shouted at Leopold.)
Astrid: "Bring that man with us! He shall answer to my father for what he has done."
Volker: "Good luck kid." (Volker was laughing as Leopold took his sword and pulled cuffs from his waistband and cuffed him as he escorted Lucan behind Astrid as they headed for the home of the Graves family.)

Lucan: "I think this is a big misunderstanding, I didn't mean to harm anyone; I was just trying to get some things."
Leopold: "Quite now, Lord Graves will determine whether or not you're going to be pardoned or if you will be severely punished."
Astrid: "Hopefully you're put to death, your good for nothing anyway you big oaf."
Lucan: "Damn you must have a lot of friends with the way you treat people."
Astrid: "That's non of you're business you bastard." (Astrid quickened her pace as Lucan was being pushed along as everyone looked on until they finally reached the front gate of the estate and he was taken in and brought into an office where he looked around at all the expensive furnishings and amazing details as a man with faded light red hair and a well kept mustache stepped in and placed a book on the desk in front of them as Astrid confidently smirked behind him.)

Lord Graves: "So from what I have heard, you assaulted my daughter. Do you care to explain yourself boy?"
Lucan: "Your Lord, I was just in the blacksmiths shop buying some things for my upcoming Adventurers Quest and when I went to leave she confronted me and was basically saying I was being disrespectful for not knowing her and when I said nice to meet you after she introduced herself and went to leave she grabbed my arm to stop me and got flung to the ground."
Lord Graves: "Is this true Astrid?"
Astrid: "No Father, this man is just trying to cover up for himself and get away with hurting me."
Lord Graves: "I see, in that case what would you wish of me to do." (Astrid walked over to her father and whispered in his ear as he shook his head and was a little surprised.)"
Lucan: "So am I dying today?"

Lord Graves: "No lad, my daughter has made a stipulation. She asks that you apologize to start with."
Lucan: "Of course, I apologize for harming you; truly I did not mean too and for what I said you seem like a very nice girl."
Lord Graves: "Her second condition is for you to take her with you on your quest."
Lucan: "Come again?"
Lord Graves: "She wishes to accompany you on your quest for the adventurers guild, she has a license but has never been on a quest. If you refuse she asked me to take your head."
Lucan: "Of course she can come along, it will be quite dangerous."
Lord Graves: "Yes and you will protect her or die." (Lucan gulped as they uncuffed him and gave his sword back as he looked at Astrid with a smug look and he walked over and marked the inn he was staying in on the map.)

Lucan: "Meet me there early tomorrow and we will set off."
Astrid: "You better not get me killed you oaf." (Lucan was escorted out of the estate as he then was standing in front of the gates as he scratched his head out of confusion.)
Xylos: "You got stuck babysitting a Nobles daughter on a quest, how unfortunate; you better hope your party is ok with this."
Lucan: "Not sure they have much of a choice."

(Lucan walked back to his Inn and retired to his room as he began to get his bags ready with all the supplies he needed and extra supplies just in case as he had a quick dinner and retired to his bed to get ample sleep before finally dozing off and waking up several hours later as he put his pack on his back and made his way outside to see a carriage as he sighed and opened the front door and was greeted by Astrid.)
Astrid: "Took you long enough, lets get going I can't stand this."
Lucan: "Come on, we have to meet the rest of the party."
Astrid: "There is more?"
Lucan: "Yeah, I'm not even the party leader; I just joined yesterday."
Astrid: "No difference, come on you oaf." (Lucan and Astrid began to walk towards the spot that Elara marked on the map which was just outside the east gate, as they walked Astrid kept falling behind and angrily catching up and as they finally came into view of the meeting spot Lucan spotted the rest of the party and when he did he was shocked.)

Elara: "There you are, it took you long enough. Who's this?"
Lucan: "This is Astrid Graves, daughter of the Lord of this Region."
Elara: "Why is she here?"
Lucan: "I would of died otherwise." (Astrid had her hands on her hips looking smug as she stood behind Lucan and Elara shrugged and walked over to introduce the rest of the party.)
Elara: "Lucan and I guess Astrid, this is Liora Kindred; she is a Wilderkin. (The Girl with Cat ears and a tail quickly ran up to Lucan and grabbed his hand happily shaking it then ran to Astrid and did the same.)
Liora: "Its amazing to meet you! I can't believe we are going to be working together. I love making new friends! Welcome to the party!"
Elara: "This is Riona Nox, she doesn't talk very much." (Riona waved at Lucan and Astrid as she didn't seem very enthusiastic as Elara moved to the final member of the Party.)
Lucan: "Nice to meet you Riona."
Elara: "This is our final and probably strongest member, Isolde Highgate; she comes from a noble family in the east." (A Blonde woman with a fair complexion with white and blue outfit and light armor on walked up to Lucan and shook his hand as she had a serious look on her face.)
Isolde: "Its a pleasure to meet you; I see you have a fine blade are you any skilled with it?"
Lucan: "I'd like to think so."

(Isolde drew her sword and slashed at Lucan as he stepped back dodging it as she pursued and Lucan dropped the pack off his back drawing his sword with the sheath on to block as she kept coming. Lucan blocked and dodged every in coming attack as she pursued with great skill and effort before Lucan spotted a break in one of her moves and took it as he slammed his sheathed blade into her side and knocked the wind out of her before she stumbled back slowly catching her breath and sheathing her blade.)
Isolde: "Very well, I apologize for that I simply just wanted to test you."
Lucan: "I understand, you don't want to trust some random guy to help you and your friends; No harm done."
Elara: "Well now that we all know each other, lets get down to business and discuss what the quest is."
Lucan: "Sounds good, but may I ask; why do you need me if you have Isolde. She is far better then I am."
Elara: "You're essentially here to do the things we don't want too."
Lucan: "Oh alright."
Elara: "Anyways, the quest is a A Rank quest and we are hunting down and returning some precious pelts to a rich family, we will be in the wilderness for at least 4 days so make sure you have everything. You all got two minutes to make sure." (After the 2 minutes passed the group gathered together with all their things as Lucan felt slightly nervous as he just realized he is the only man in the group but he quickly swallowed the nervousness and they set off into the wild.)

Isolde: "So how long have you been adventuring Lucan?"
Lucan: "This is my first time."
Isolde: "That doesn't put much confidence in my head for you."
Lucan: "If it helps, I basically grew up in the wilderness; I know survival like the back of my hand."
Isolde: "It helps a little."
Liora: "So where are you from?"
Lucan: "I am from a small village far from here, it burned down a few years ago."
Liora: "So you're name is Lucan, what's some more things about you?"
Lucan: "My full name is Lucan Vance, I am a trained blacksmith and survivalist. Before this I helped escort a Foreign Diplomat to the capitol for negotiations with the King."
Elara: "You didn't put that on your resume, It would of been nice to know that."
Lucan: "I didn't believe it helped my chances of being chosen, I don't have a lot of skills to be honest and I can't even use magic all that well."
(The group continued to walk as they all discussed different things, Elara leading the way looked into the sky and noticed that the sun was beginning to go down as she saw a clearing ahead, she walked into the clearing and dropped her pack as she stretched.)

Elara: "We will make camp here for tonight, the sun will go down soon; on each night we will take turn doing different things around the camp, Liora you're in charge of checking the perimeter, Isolde start the fire, I'll gather food and more firewood."
Lucan: "No need on the food part, I'll cook food tonight."
Elara: "If you insist, have at it." (Lucan dropped his pack as he arranged his things and put the throwing axes and knives on his body with bandoliers and grabbed his bow as he slowly stalked off into the woods until he heard rustling and saw a deer eating on some foliage. Lucan raised his bow as he whistled and the Deer's head shot up and he fired shooting clean through its head as he stalked up to it and pulled the dagger he bought from Volker and field dressed it before grabbing the materials and returning back to camp.)

Astrid: "That's a lot of meat, did you kill that yourself."
Lucan: "Yes of course, and we need the meat there is six of us." (Lucan pulled out a rolled up pack as he rolled it on the ground in front of newly made fire as he pulled a pan from his pack and pulled a knife from the sleeve he rolled out as he started to dice up the Deer meat.)
Elara: "You seem handy with that knife, who taught you to cook."
Lucan: "I'm self taught."
(Elara looked a bit shocked as Lucan proceeded to pull some spices from his bag and season the meat that was now cut in strips to enjoy easier as he placed them on the pan and started to cook them as everyone was now gathered around watching him as he did this. After a few minutes he was finished and looked up to see everyone looking as he looked around realizing there was no table.)
Lucan: "No where to eat, give me just a second."

(Lucan stood up, grabbing an axe from his bag and eyeing a big tree, he started to chop it down as it only took a few strikes, after felling the tree he picked it up and walked it back over before setting it down and carefully shortening it to make some stools and eventually a small table which he placed the food on the table after.)
Lucan: "There, plenty of firewood for after and a table to eat at." (Lucan looked at them all as they stared at him in awe before they all sat down and started to eat.)
Liora: "This is very yummy! I can't believe you can cook so well!"
Lucan: "I appreciate that, I'll get whatever is left. I am going to set up my camping area."
Elara: "What do you mean? We already set it up."
Lucan: "I am a man, you are a bunch of women; I can not comfortably sleep in the same camp as you guys. So I am going to go set up a little camp just out of view."

(They all watched as Lucan grabbed his things and walked off as he disappeared out of view. Lucan was then setting up a little sleeping area with a small firepit as he heard something behind him as he acted normal before launching a knife at the noise as the Knife stuck in the tree right next to Elara's head.)
Lucan: "Oh I am so sorry, I'm so happy I didn't hit you."
Elara: "No no I am sorry, I didn't think about sneaking up on you. I was just bringing what was left of the food for you."
Lucan: "I appreciate it." (Lucan stood up from his kneeling position and grabbed the pan with the food as he sat on his bedroll and began to ate as Elara looked at him.)
Elara: "Why do you choose to sleep out here rather then just staying in the camp with is; We don't mind."
Lucan: "I didn't want to make you guys uncomfortable; you may think it won't but there is five of you girls and one guy. It would just become awkward."
Elara: "If you insist, then we appreciate it." (Elara awkwardly turned around as she walked off back to the main camp as Lucan continued to eat before he wiped down the pan and put it back inside his bag fetching a book to read as the night grew darker and colder.)

(Lucan had fallen asleep sitting against the tree that his bedroll was below before he shot awake from a scream as he grabbed his sword and started to sprint towards the camp where one of the girls was screaming where he came face to face with a bear.)
Lucan: "Goddamn it, the smell of the rest of the meat must of drawn it."
Xylos: "You need to cut it down quickly before it has the chance to harm anyone, go boy."
(Lucan Pulled his sword as he charged the bear and dodged a swipe from its paw as he slid on the ground and slashed at it as he slid underneath it as it roared in pain from him drawing blood with the attack before it turned and tried to Bite Lucan as he dodged and came down with a strike from the hilt of his blade before it grabbed onto his armored forearm and stopped him from using his sword. Lucan reared back his fist as he he punched it square in the jaw making the bear stagger and let go of his arm as he then took two steps and lobbed its head off with one big slash as he was now breathing heavy.)

Elara: "Thank you Lucan, Non of us had our gear and we didn't think we would survive this one; it came out of no where."
Lucan: "It was my fault, I shouldn't of left the meat out; I apolog-" (Lucan turned around to face them as he came face to face with all of the Woman in their sleep wear and barely any clothes on as he became embarrassed and turned multiple shades of red and started to sprint back to his camp before he smacked head first into a massive tree branch and did a complete backflip landing on his face as he knocked himself out.)

Isolde: "What in the world was his problem?"
Liora: "I'm not sure, but he knocked himself out pretty bad; what do we do Elara?"
Elara: "I guess we have to carry him to his bedroll." (All the Girls gathered around Lucan as they counted down and lifted him, struggling in the process as they all slowly shifted towards his bedroll as they grunted and moaned in defeat the entire way there before dropping him onto his back in his bedroll and putting it over him as they all snickered and walked away.)

(Lucan awakened many hours later as he rubbed his head as he sat up and remembered what had happened as he gets red again before shaking it off and standing up with a groan as he spotted Elara walking towards him.)
Elara: "I see you're awake; thought you may have died after that."
Lucan: "I'm alive; even if my head doesn't feel like it."
Elara: "That might of been the saddest thing I have ever seen; why did you run off like that."
(Lucan ignored her as he packed his things and walked past her to join everyone else who was already packed as he examined the bear that he had killed the night before.)
Isolde: "That was some impressive swordsmanship last night, I didn't know you had that in you."
Lucan: "That was just my strength, I couldn't keep up with anyone in an actual sword fight; I'm just a strong oaf."
Astrid: "That's the truth, he's nothing special; He was shaking when my guard had him at sword point."
Lucan: "I don't think I was shaking, and I believe anyone would be scared at sword point if they don't want to die that is."
Astrid: "Stop talking back to me, you're suppose to cater to me or my dad will have you executed."
Elara: "Jeez, didn't know you took orders Lucan."
Lucan: "Only from you as party leader, are we moving out soon? We are burning daylight."
Elara: "Yeah lets go everyone."

(The group started to walk as they covered much ground in a short amount of time until they came to a small cliff side, Lucan climbed it first and helped the others up as they climbed pulling them to the top. Once they were all at the top they continued to walk.)
Liora: "Why did you decide to become an Adventurer Lucan?"
Lucan: "I guess I just didn't know what to do so I decided to try something out."
Liora: "You don't have a dream or goal in life?"
Lucan: "Not really, I just never had one even as a kid."
Liora: "Not even to be like your parents? Are you close with your parents?"
Lucan: "My parents died when I was 7, in a demon attack. I do think about them often, but to be honest I have no clue how they were like its been so long."
Liora: "I apologize I asked, I had no clue."
Lucan: "Don't feel bad, It happens and I lived longer without them then I did with them."
Isolde: "May I ask where you got your sword from? I can't help but notice that it has a Sword masters emblem on it."
Lucan: "It was my fathers, the last thing he left me as I ran off."
Isolde: "I see, he must of been a great man and an even better swordsman." (They all stopped talking as they continued to walk before it suddenly became cloudy and started to rain, Elara led them to a cave big enough to hold them all to escape the rain and set up camp.)

Elara: "That's unfortunate, I was hoping to continue walking for a little longer."
Isolde: "At least we were able to find a place to stay out of the rain, it doesn't look like its going to let up anytime soon; I'm not sure we will be able to get supplies for a fire or food."
Lucan: "No issue, I kept some firewood and the meat from last night." (Lucan dug around in his bag as he produced the meat wrapped in a cloth and a stack of firewood as he made a circle out of loose rocks from the cave and started the fire and repeating the same meal as he changed up the taste with a homemade sauce.)
Isolde: "I'm glad you hired him Elara, he's far more useful then I would of thought."
Elara: "To be honest I just felt bad because no one else wanted him to join their parties, but in truth they missed out."
Lucan: "You guys are talking too highly of me, I am just a regular guy with nothing special; I should be the grateful one."

(They all ate as Lucan looked around uncomfortable as the rain didn't look like it was going to let up as the chill of the still wintery days was creeping in before he picked his stuff up and was going to set out into the rain before he was stopped by all of them.)
Elara: "Are you really going to go into that cold and rain just to make us feel more comfortable when we don't care?"
Isolde: "Seriously, if you get sick you will be nothing but extra baggage we don't need."
Liora: "Who will cook if you get ill!"
Astrid: "Not that I care, but you're supposed to protect me and If you fail I'll kill you." (Lucan gulped heavily as he turned around and reluctantly dropped his bag and made a camp the farthest from all the girls as he sat on his bedroll once again and read his book.)

Isolde: "It sure is cold this night, I wish we had a bigger fire."
Elara: "We have work with what we can, just bundle up or get closer to make more heat."
(The 4 women got closer around the fire with a blanket over their shoulders as they start to warm up and have satisfied looks on their face with the warmth they are getting before Astrid quickly joins them. Lucan looks up from his book as they are all still shivering and he shakes his head.)
Isolde: "I don't think any of us are big enough to give off the body heat we need to truly warm up."
Liora: "Its better then it was before but not by much."
Elara: "If only there was someone bigger here that gives off more heat.-" (They all slowly turned and looked behind them. Lucan felt multiple eyes on him as he put his book down and when he did they were all standing in front of him.)
Lucan: "Can I do something for you ladies?"
Elara: "I believe you can."

(Lucan was extremely red as he now had a blanket around his shoulders and all 5 of the women were curling up next to him next to the fire as he was dragged over and they are now content with the heat he gives off as he kept his cool and just sat there.)
Isolde: "Why are you so tense, this is nothing but us trying to get warm and you happen to be the biggest one who gives off the most warmth."
Lucan: "I'm not tense because I think this is going to lead to something, I just don't want to hurt any of you by accident by moving the wrong way."
Elara: "Yeah sure, don't get any ideas from this we just want to stay warm."
Lucan: "No, I respect you ladies too much, but as you allowed me into your party to do the things you cannot do I have no issue with this." (Lucan spread his arms out and pulled them all in closer as they all slightly tensed up and began to blush as his arms were not around them all in a hug style hold. Their bodies began to become very warm in this situation as the night burned on.)

(Lucan slowly awoke from this slumber as he stepped from his bedroll and noticed that all the girls were still sleeping together as he left them last night and he smiled slightly.)
Lucan (Thinking): "I expected them to get up and go to their own bedrolls, but I guess they were all to comfortable to wake up." (Lucan slowly moved around the cave starting to pack everything up and put his armor on. After he was done packing everything up Elara was the first to awake as she rubbed her eyes and was confused.)

Elara: "Why are we all sleeping under the same blanket?"
Lucan: "Uh, you all fell asleep together after I took my leave to my bedroll."
Elara: "I see."
Lucan: "Yeah I guess, you guys were quite warm and comfortable."
Isolde: "You guys are being kind of loud, and so what if we did all fall asleep together."
Elara: "Its.... Kind of embarrassing."
Lucan: "Not really, you are all women and you all looked quite cozy and cute together; so there is no real harm done." (Elara and Isolde quickly flicked their heads away as they were blushing and extremely red before they both walked off as Elara went to wake the other two and Isolde was putting her armor on.)
Lucan (Thinking): "Did I say something wrong?"
Xylos: "Maybe you are just an idiotic oaf."

(The Group were all ready to go as the ground was still wet from the rain the night before with a slight chill in the air, Lucan was walking in front of them all as they were now closing in on the area where the beasts they were hunting are known to inhabit.)
Elara: "Keep your eyes peeled everyone, we are looking for beasts with elegant red fur; they are massive and look like boars."
Liora: "Alrighty!"
Isolde: "Will do."
Astrid: "Whatever."
Lucan: "Like that." (Lucan pointed at a beast throw a few trees that was grazing on grass as Elara quickly jogged ahead to look and got giddy when she realized that it was indeed the beast.)
Elara: "Yes! That's it, now lets get ready everyone!"
Lucan: "Wait."

(Everyone had dropped their packs as Lucan raised his hand to stop them as the look on his face was now serious; suddenly the beast that was a few feet in front of them roared in pain as Lucan looked on and its head came flying at them and he pushed everyone out of the way and caught it.)
Lucan: "Someone is here."
???: "Well, that was no fun. I need to find a real challenge soon-" (The Man standing in front of the newly killed beast began to smirk as he sniffed the air and suddenly Lucan pushed Elara out of the way as he pulled his sword and clashed blades with the man struggling to hold him back.)
???: "Ooooh I think you'll do just nicely."
