Suspicion

A few minutes had passed, and they had already arrived at Yamada Naoto and Tachima Kanade's house. There was tension in the house due to the thing that happened a few minutes ago. Kirishima Minoru, who had no clue about what happened, just wore a smug, creepy smirk toward them.

Yamada was the first to speak.

"Umm, so what happened? Did you two argue about something?"

Yamada Naoto asked both of the girls, who were looking at the ground.

Kirishima Minoru interrupted.

"Hmmm, looks like a teenage fight, I would say. Well, it is common for teenagers like them to have some 'girly' arguments. Let me guess, it's about a boy, right?"

The two girls raised their eyebrows because Kirishima Minoru got that right. Yamada Naoto, who noticed that, reacted to both of them with wide eyes, pointing at them.

"Gahhhh! Lady Kanade, is it true? Is it about a guy!?"

The two girls didn't respond; instead, they just looked guilty. Yamada, who noticed that, suddenly lost his balance from where he was standing, as if his soul was released from his body.

Near Kirisaki Tsubaki and Tachima Kanade sat Kirishima Minoru, who was enjoying watching the three of them. A few minutes after, Yamada Naoto, who had regained consciousness, stood up from the tatami mat he was lying on. As he looked up, he was shocked by what he saw: there was a sushi meal on the table and two bottles of juice, and beside that table sat Tachima Kanade and Kirisaki Tsubaki, who were enjoying the sushi. Kirisaki Tsubaki, who was eating the sushi, saw the awake Yamada Naoto and suddenly got shocked and choked because of it.

A familiar voice spoke from their kitchen; it was Kirishima Minoru.

"Oh, looks like you're awake now, Mr. Yamada. I ordered some sushi. Have some food to put your mind at ease for a moment."

Kirishima Minoru said that as Yamada Naoto was still processing what happened a while ago before he lost consciousness from the shock. While he was eating, he was still devastated inside about his beloved lady, Tachima Kanade, already having someone in her mind—not knowing it was all a misunderstanding, and he was the guy both of them were arguing about.

After the four of them finished their food, Yamada Naoto asked.

"So, umm, Mr. Kirishima, what are you doing here?"

Kirishima Minoru answered.

"Oh, I completely forgot why I came here. Well, nothing serious. I just wanted to know about my new student, Ms. Tachima Kanade, since her school profile states that her parents are abroad.

Also, during her hospital days, you introduced yourself as Ms. Tachima's guardian, right?"

Kirisaki Tsubaki was confused about the hospital thing, but the conversation continued...

"So, Mr. Yamada, I have a question for you, or should I say, may I ask something?"

The three got curious about what he was trying to ask.

"Well, Mr. Yamada, some of the school teachers are talking about Ms. Tachima. I explained the part where she was suddenly absent for a few days, but one thing is causing them to doubt..."

"..."

"..."

"..."Kirishima Minoru asked a question that would shock Yamada Naoto and Tachima Kanade.

"Well, from the looks of it, they are doubting your position as the guardian of Ms. Tachima, since from the looks of you, you are between the age of 17 or 18..."

Yamada Naoto replies.

"So?" He said that with a kind of irritated tone.

Kirishima Minoru continues...

"Are you really a relative of Ms. Tachima, or is there some kind of thing you are not talking about?"

That question from Kirishima Minoru made both Tachima Kanade and Yamada Naoto felt panic.
