Promise

' In the middle of the night, under the full moon in the grass, Children promise each other, to stop living in a mess. '

"One, two, three, four, promise you won't breathe more!"- The little girl spoke.

The boy was still a little embarrassed. They had locked pinkies, but only the girl moved her hand up and down as she spoke.

"What? Come oon!"- She shouted, laughing afterwards.

"I... Don't think this is right..."- The little boy murmured under his breath.

The girl stared at him for a few seconds before leaning in and giving him a kiss on the cheek.The buy turned completly red in embarassment; his eyes widened and his finger almost slipped out of the lock.

"Stop worrying so much! Just say it with me."

She cleared her throat.

"So..."- tightening the grip with her little finger -"One two-"

"Three.. f-four..."- The boy continued after her.

"-Promise not to breather more!"- She smiled at him.

"...five, six, seven, eight, life is just an endless weight."- He continued.

"...nine, everything is just a lie... Ten-"- She said, before stopping to synchronize their pace.

"...We promise not to live by then!"- They both finished, together.

Then they lightened their hold on each other's fingers and let go.

But he didn't want to. She just watched as she lets go of him and her image drifts away... deep, into an endless hole... To complete darkness.
