Few words from me.

Hello!

I decided to do this some kind of retrospective for fun and maybe do a bit of explaining too. First of all, if for some reason you are even reading this, a big thanks from me. Like seriously. I am not sure if anyone was actually reading it but the views kept going up even when I wasn't uploading so I guess it is possible?

About not posting.. and this whole thing. I started uploading when I was in my first year of high school, in 2022 because I had an idea I found interesting and I wanted to give myself a break from the main project I was working on at the time. Truth is, I started writing this for myself to give me a break. I began uploading this... novel because I thought I would fail at school (fuck you high school math). And I am oh so very glad I did. Because just posting it and giving myself time to work on something to learn and letting my main project go for a while was one of the best things I did for myself. Looking back I can tell I wasn't ready to write something that matters to me much more than this little story.

But to go back to why it took me so long to finish this and why i completely stopped uploading for over 6 months, posting one chapter and disappearing again. This year was my last year in high school and that meant final exams. I had that so that was one reason, but the main reason is that I struggled with this story for some time and eventually I burned out. I just didn't have fun writing it at all towards the end. I stopped liking it. And that isn't a bad thing at all I believe. Like I said, I learned a lot and i grew as a person a ton too I would say, plus this was always just a tiny story, an idea that I decided to put in effort. I don't think this is a good story. Or like maybe a bit. I would not put this on my resume or expect someone to read it, now that I am looking at it now. It more in the moment and I stuck with it and kept writing. I couldn't abandon it because i made certain things important for my main story, my main work. All I will say is both are from the same world. I planned a different ending, but I just wanted to move on so I made this at least. It is very vague but I cant comment on the reasons why. I really wanted to put this behind me already.

I mentioned the main story a few times now. Yes, I do have something else. Something I came up with in 2020, worked on it a bit and then left it. I wrote a prologue and a part of first chapter and after reading it like a few months ago, I am so freaking happy I didn't touch it in those five years and wrote this Dreams novel. It was so bad... xdd. I kept thinking about it, I still do all the time. I am just so glad I took those years to write something else. I stared writing it again in September. Thankfully I didn't write much in 2020 so I didn't have to rewrite much but the difference is crazy. Not only the world building and how certain things work, but I can tell I got so much better at writing too. There is always something to improve but damn.. Now I have a lot of fun writing again.

I want to draw a proper cover for the main story but I don't have the stuff I need for that at the moment and finding a job is no joke. So I don't know when I will start uploading that. Maybe if I wont be able to find a job and buy the tech I need, I might upload it without a proper cover, but I want to have something decent. I really wanna share it but I want to take it a bit more serious and present it in a way it deserves. We will see.

So, if you are for some reason you are still reading even this, when it was uploaded recently or in the future, a big thanks. Again. And I have something very exciting in the works. Compared to what i have shared so far, this small novel, it's like a grain of sand next to the Sun when it comes to every aspect. Story, characters, the world.. everything. The scale of it. I am very looking forward to putting it online as soon as possible.
