Casual Day

(Lucan awoke from his sleep as he opened his eyes and lifted his right arm to rub his eye and attempted to do the same with his left as he realized he couldn't and looked down to see an arm laying across his chest as he looked to his left and there laid Nyxia as Lucan was confused why this was happening again.)

Lucan: "Nyxia, why are you in my bed?" (Nyxia awoke as she rubbed her eyes and propped herself up on one arm and looked at Lucan.)
Nyxia: "Are you embarrassed? You don't want a beautiful woman in your bed?" (Nyxia Ran her hand across his chest as he quickly grabbed it and tossed it down as he looked weirded out and confused before he stood up.)
Lucan: "You're a freak aren't you? How is someone so powerful as yourself such a freak, you're going to have to stay out of my bed."
Nyxia: "That's not very nice, calling me a freak; don't you find me attractive?" (Nyxia pouted as she sat up and Lucan got a glimpse of her entire body and realized for the first time that she was completely naked.)
Lucan: "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOUR CLOTHES?" (Lucan threw a blanket at her as he looked away and she wrapped it around herself.)
Nyxia: "So you really do think I'm ugly?"
Lucan: "No Nyxia, you're a beautiful woman but we barely know each other and you're my party member WHO IS ONLY 400 YEARS OLDER THEN ME."
Nyxia: "You're no fun, Just because I enjoy sleeping in the same bed as you and sleep naked doesn't mean anything." (Lucan heard a knock on the door as his heart dropped and he froze.)
Nyxia: "I guess I'll get it."
Lucan: "NOOOOO!" (Lucan turned around as he tried to stop her but was too late as she opened the door still with only a blanket around her body as Astrid who was in the middle of knocking with Reya behind looked between Nyxia and Lucan as her jaw dropped.)

Astrid: "Are you sleeping with Nyxia?!?"
Nyxia: "Is that jealousy I hear Astrid?" (Astrid crossed her arms and turned her face.)
Astrid: "No! I just can't believe this."
Lucan: "There is nothing going on between us, this freak just likes to somehow randomly appear in my bed in the middle of the night and sleep in it with me." (Astrid looked a little jealous yet relieved as Nyxia shook her head.)
Nyxia: "He's no fun."
Lucan: "Why because I won't give you what you want?" (Nyxia hmphed as she walked out of the room and to her own room to get dressed as Lucan faceplanted and put on his boots to join Astrid and Reya.)

(Lucan was walking down the road with the four as he wondered what to do with the day of rest they planned for as he realized he hasn't really rested in a while as the other 3 were waiting for him to decide what to do.)
Lucan: "What would you ladies like to do today? I can't think of anything for the life of me."
Astrid: "I would expect you to have a plan for today, you made us take the rest day and you don't even have anything you want to do?"
Lucan: "You guys always follow me and listen to what I say, why don't we change that for today and I'll do whatever you guys want and say."
Astrid: "Can we go to the shops?"
Lucan: "Sure."

(Astrid was happy as she jogged a little forward and started to spin as Lucan looked at her and couldn't help smiling as Nyxia and Reya were dragged along by Astrid as Lucan had to keep pace with them as they stopped at their first stall.)
Astrid: "Look at that pretty necklace, it looks special."
Nyxia: "Its probably a magical item."
Merchant: "You ladies got great eyes, that there is a mana necklace; it can give you double the amount of mana you regularly have." (Lucan walked up behind them as they were looking and looked at it.)
Lucan: "I'll buy it for you if you want Astrid."
Astrid: "No that's fine, I don't want you to spend all your gold on one thing; lets move on." (Astrid and the other two moved on as Lucan looked around at all the jewelry and the Merchant smiled at him as he gave him the amount that was listed and slipped the necklace into his bag.)

(Nyxia stopped at a stall as she was looking at wands and more magical jewelry before picking up a silver bracelet with a sapphire in the middle of it.)
Nyxia: "What a gorgeous piece, I'm looking for something that can help me focus my mana as I can't use my regular magic right now its been too long since I used it."
Vendor: "For 5 gold its yours!"
Nyxia: "Sorry I don't have any." (As she was about to put it down, 5 gold pieces landed in the mans hand as Nyxia looked back and Lucan was smiling as she smiled big and quickly hugged him and he helped her put it on and Astrid looked at them with an annoying look.)
Lucan: "I told you guys I will buy anything you want, this is your day."
Reya: "Can we go to the blacksmiths then? I have been wanting a short sword."
Lucan: "Of course, lead the way."

(Reya started to walk as the four followed with Astrid walking with crossed arms and an annoyed look as Lucan was not sure what her problem was and before he could ask they were already there.)
Lucan: "Well that was a short walk."
Reya: "It's a smaller town." (They walked into the blacksmiths shop as all the walls were lined with weapons of all sorts along with stands in the middle of the room on both sides full of weapons as they started to look around before a heavy set man walked out from behind a curtain.)
Blacksmith: "How can I help ye?"
Lucan: "My companion is looking for a short sword, she would like one that would last a while but is very sharp."
Blacksmith: "Let me see here." (The man walked from behind the counter as he looked around and quickly picked a sword from a wall that was chained off before placing it on the counter.)
Blacksmith: "One of my finest works, not gonna find one better then that; No sir."
(Reya looked at it and gestured asking to pick it up as the blacksmith nodded and she picked it up and swung it slightly as she was astonished at the sharp edge yet such a light weight.)

Reya: "It's amazing, I'm not sure I could afford it though how much are you asking?"
Blacksmith: "15 Gold Pieces."
Reya: "Oh that's too steep for me right now, do you have anything cheaper-" (Lucan placed 15 gold pieces on the counter as the man smiled with a big smile and Reya was confused.)
Reya: "Why would you buy it for me? I just joined your party."
Lucan: "Well, you seemed like you really wanted it and exactly I have to make sure my party members have the best gear they can get." (The Blacksmith's smile quickly faded as his eyes landed on the sword that Lucan was carrying on his hip as Reya had a big grin on her face as she grabbed the short sword and its sheath and fastened it to her belt.)
Blacksmith: "Quite a piece of steel you got there lad, where'd you acquire it?" (Lucan looked down and back to the man.)

Lucan: "It was my fathers, he gave it to me before he passed."
Blacksmith: "How much for it?"
Lucan: "It's not for sale, sorry."
Blacksmith: "Ah, what kind of business man would I be if I didn't try; I understand though lad." (The two chuckled as Lucan looked up and noticed a long handled duel bladed Great axe displayed above the mans head behind him adorned with a red handle and gold details with a Lions crest in between the blades. The Blacksmith noticed Lucan looking at it and he quickly grinned as he reached up and got it down placing it on the counter.)
Blacksmith: "Seems you got a good eye lad, this here is Greatfang the Great axe blessed by the sun god himself." (Lucan looked at it as the man offered him to pick it up and the weight felt amazing in his hands as he looked it up and down before looking back to the man.)
Lucan: "How Much?"
Blacksmith: "150 Gold pieces"

(Lucan looked disappointed because he had enough but would only leave him with 50 gold pieces to travel with and he started to hand it back before the noticed the three staring at him and he quickly became nervous.)
Astrid: "You clearly want it why not buy it? It's not like you're very good with a sword anyway."
Nyxia: "I know you want to treat us, but that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself; we can always take quick work if we need more coin."
Reya: "You'd be stupid to pass that up." (Lucan pondered for a second before resting it on his shoulder holding it with one arm as he dug out 150 gold pieces and handed them over to the man as he handed over a back sling for it as the girls helped him put it on and he put it on his back and ducked out of the door way as they followed him.)
Lucan: "Would you ladies mind if I go test this thing out?"
Astrid: "Not at all."
Reya: "I actually want to see if you are any good with it."
Nyxia: "While we are out there, we should start you with the basics of magic."

(Astrid, Nyxia and Reya were sitting on top of a rock as the sun beat down them on the dawn of spring as they watched Lucan grab the axe off his back and begin to swing it around with minimal difficulty as he was effortlessly swinging it around like it was nothing but a stick.)
Astrid: "So how does it feel? Will you finally be able to fight better since you have a weapon that suits you now?"
Lucan: "Haha, I get it that I'm not really a sword guy. On the other hand this axe is amazing, it feels like a paper weight in my hands and its insanely sharp." (Lucan quickly swung it to the left and charged up a massive right swipe and targeted a tree in front of him as he crashed the axe through it completely demolishing it as the three looked on in awe.)
Reya: "Man, you got some power behind those swings; I'd hate to be on the receiving end of that."
Nyxia: "Why don't you try to harness your mana into it? It may have a special enchantment."
Lucan: "Good Idea Nyxia."

(Lucan held the axe out in front of him as he focused and began to pour Mana into it before a sharp pain shot into his arms and down his body as the axe engulfed in flames and it felt like his entire body was in flames as he let out a scream.)
Nyxia: "Lucan, you need to cut the flow of mana before it kills you!"
Astrid: "What the hell is that power? It's so immense and yet so calming."
Reya: "Who knows, but it's going to kill Lucan if we don't do anything." (The three jumped down before Lucan shouted at them.)
Lucan: "DON'T GET CLOSER, THIS IS UNSTABLE." (Lucan closed his eyes as he fought through the pain and eventually his grimoire snapped open and began to swallow up the aura around the axe before his arms slowly untensed and he dropped the axe as he began to breath heavy and his arms twitched before he got a flash of a image of a man in his mind before his grimoire appeared in front of him no longer fully black. His Grimoire now had orange details on it and a sunshine logo in the middle as he it was surrounded by a golden aura as Nyxia was in shock.)

Nyxia: "That's...... Solar Eclipse magic...."
Astrid: "Solar Eclipse? What the hell is that?"
Nyxia: "It's a legend, said that only those with pure darkness in their heart and that of the dark grimoire can harness and capture the power of The Sun God's magic and turn it into their own; and it would seem..... Lucan has done it." (The three stared at Lucan as his eyes began to flicker open and shut and his breathing slowly fastened as he fell on his butt out of exhaustion from holding in such power before he laid back and fell asleep.)

???: "Rise boy and face the Great Sun God." (Lucan rubbed his eyes as he awoke in a silk bed as he looked around at room adorned like that of a nobles chambers as he got up and he was suddenly wearing golden armor as he ascended stairs and suddenly as he topped them they vanished and he was now standing in a throne room.)
Lucan: "Who are you? Where am I?"
???: "Stay calm disciple of Rulthagar. Your judgement has not been cast yet, but we must have a talk."
Lucan: "Disciple of Rulthagar? The Demon was simply using me to do his bidding and I have not heard from him in some time, I wish to forget him."
???: "Interesting, well to answer you're questions I am Ignis The Sun God and you are in my inner domain, you are still asleep but much like when you probably spoke to Rulthagar I am here to speak to you."
Lucan: "You're a god? Why am I here and what do you want with me?"
Ignis: "You're a very get to it type of guy aren't you? Not much bravado or confidence in you. I was amazed that you were able to harness my power even if such little was given, I want to make you my champion."
Lucan: "What? Why would you want me as you're champion? I'm nothing but a simple man that comes from no where." (Ignis laughed a big laugh as Lucan said this and realized he was serious before speaking once again.)

Ignis: "You're far from normal or simple, but that is not my place to tell you that for you will have to find that out yourself. As for why I want you as my champion is because you carry that dark grimoire and despite that you have a heart full of love and compassion not hate and anger."
Lucan: "I carry the will of my parents with me; they raised me to always take the world head on and to never let the darkness in."
Ignis: "Wise parents you had, I am going to grant you my power as my champion and there will be other perks you will notice when you awaken. I don't expect you to do well at first but I am going to lock your dark magic for a time, your companion will stay unaffected and will gain her magic back temporarily as you are blessed with the power of my sunshine. Now get back there before you worry them anymore."
Lucan: "But I have so many questions-" (The Sun god flicked a ray of sunshine at Lucan as he was shot back and he suddenly awoke in his bed in a sweat as he looked around and recognized his room at the inn as he rubbed his head and couldn't believe it as he stood up and banged his head on the ceiling.)

Lucan: "What in the world? I don't remember the ceilings being this low." (Lucan looked down at his body and quickly realized that he was a lot bigger than before as he looked around and quickly grabbed his shirt and attempted to put it on before it was now too small and was almost skin tight on him as he crashed around the room before the door flung open and came in Nyxia who was worried of the noise before she ran face first into Lucan as she began to fall before he grabbed her waist and pulled her back up.)
Nyxia: "Oh- It's you Lucan; thank you for catching me I didn't mean to barge in I was just worried I had thought you were hurting." (Lucan held onto her as he looked her in the face and she actually became a little nervous as she blushed.)
Lucan: "It's quite alright, we wouldn't want you getting hurt now would we Lady Nyxia? I am flattered that you were so worried of me but I ensure you that I am quite alright." (Lucan let he go as he turned around to pull his boots on before busting through the sides with a big sigh.)

Nyxia: "Did you get larger? You're so much taller and more muscular; I'm so confused on how this could happen. Not to mention I have regained my ability to use my magic!" (She displayed a ball of darkness in her hands as Lucan looked at her and he quickly summoned his grimoire, but what came was not the black one they all knew what had come was a completely golden grimoire with a sigil of that of the sun on it as it gave off a soft glow.)
Lucan: "How interesting, it would seem that I've been blessed by the Sun god Ignis. He had spoken to me in my dreams but I had believed it was simply something I was imagining."
Nyxia: "His blessing granted you such physical changes and even a different grimoire? Exactly how powerful is he?"
Lucan: "I'm not sure, but he didn't seem to be malevolent so I guess I'll just roll with it; although I believe I need new clothes now." (Lucan rubbed the back of his head as his clothes were very tight and ripping as he took off the torn up boots and tossed them aside as he and Nyxia stepped out of the room.)

Lucan: "I guess I need to purchase new clothing, I can't go around like this."
Nyxia: "Sounds good." (Lucan walked down the hall as he had to now slightly duck his head and he saw Astrid and Reya as he descended the stairs and they were quickly confused as they rushed over to him.)
Astrid: "What in the world happened!? You're bigger then you were and your clothes are all torn and where are your boots?"
Reya: "Seriously, what happened to you dude?"
Lucan: "It's a long story, I'm going to go buy some new clothes all three of you are welcome to join me." (Lucan stepped out into the chilly morning and proceeded to walk down the street barefoot towards the same seamstress they had gone too previously as he when he arrived he pulled open the door and the Seamstress looked shocked.)
Lucan: "I require new clothing, would you mind helping me today ma'am?"
Seamstress: "Oh my, were you always this big? I remember you being quite large but not to this extent."
Lucan: "It's a long story and I don't quite have time to explain, we are on a schedule and I just need new base clothing to go under my armor; something black."
Seamstress: "Of course, I'm not sure I have anything that will fit you comfortably but they should fit." (The Seamstress quickly grabbed a shirt and a pair of pants designed to go under armor as she handed them to him and he went behind the curtain to change into them before putting on new boots.)

Astrid: "Nyxia, Why were you two together again this morning; did you attempt to sleep in his bed again?"
Nyxia: "No! I know better then to bother an injured man, I had heard a loud noise and as our rooms are close I ran to make sure he was alright."
Astrid: "Sure..." (Astrid had her arms crossed as she gave Nyxia a look and Reya just shook her head as she didn't see why they were so intrigued by Lucan.)
Lucan: "Thank you ma'am here is the gold for all of this, you have a wonderful day now." (Lucan stepped out as he handed the woman the payment and they saw him in an all black long sleeve stab proof shirt and black pants of the same and black boots that were still quite snug fitting as the definition in his arms shown.)
Lucan: "Let's get going, retrieve your things and meet me outside the Inn; we are moving on from here."
Reya: "Alright."
Astrid: "Heard!"
Nyxia: "As you say Lucan."

(The four split as Lucan set off for the carriage house as he retrieved their wagon where all his things were residing before he quickly hitched the horses and arrived at the Inn and marched upstairs wrapping his father's sword and sticking it in his pack as he realized that his armor no longer fit before a sensation of light surrounded him and he quickly felt his body get heavier as he quickly looked at his reflection as he now wore gold armor with a similar sigil that adorned Greatfang as he didn't even dare to ask questions.)
Lucan: "I guess this is just my life now; I guess its better then the giving relationship as the disciple of a demon." (Lucan quickly put the axe on his back as he grabbed his pack and arrived outside to see the three women who were all quickly wide eyed and amazed as they circled him.)
Astrid: "Lucan, where did you get such quality and expensive armor!?"
Reya: "Seriously, were you holding out on us when shopping?"
Nyxia: "...."
Lucan: "No, this armor is apart of my title as Champion of Ignis; it's a long story but to put it short the axe allowed me to meet the Sun God Ignis and he named me his champion and it made me bigger and granted me this armor. Also I have something for you Astrid."
Astrid: "Something.... for me?" (Lucan put his pack down as he dug through it and produced the necklace that Astrid had wanted that he had purchased the day before as he walked up to Astrid.)
Astrid: "Is that the necklace that I had looked at yesterday? You seriously didn't have to purchase that for me."
Lucan: "I had purchased something for both Nyxia and Reya, so this is only correct. Besides such a beautiful woman needs something that matches her beauty." (Astrid Blushed as Lucan kneeled and unlinked the chain of the necklace as he avoided her hair and put it on her as their eyes met and she looked away quickly as she blushed even more and he grinned a little.)
Lucan: "Come on lets get going everyone; we must be on our way."

(Reya was driving the wagon as Astrid and Nyxia played a card game and Lucan was studying his Grimoire, he quickly realized that his grimoire was full of spells and he wasn't sure how to use them; he started to memorize the names of them as he looked at his party and grinned before suddenly the wagon stopped as Lucan stood up and looked out past Reya as he saw a group of people blocking the road amassing at least 20.)

???: "STOP RIGHT THERE!"
Reya: "What is this about?"
???: "YOU'VE BEEN UNFORTUNATE TO HAVE A RUN IN WITH THE CRIMSON CUTTERS! NOW GET OUT OF THE WAGON AND HAND OVER EVERYTHING YOU HAVE!"
(Reya dropped down as Astrid and Nyxia stepped out and they stood side by side with each other as they were looking at the men.)
Astrid: "Don't worry about this Lucan, we got this; you just stay put."
