Chapter 29:
The time when Isakai comes to your world.
With this cliff angle in the Yadav's story, Vibhi's emotion broke into pieces. Yeadav himself can't resist stopping his tears. Vibhi held her emotions tightly and asked Yadav," What happened next? How did you become like this?"
Yadav replied to the question with a question. He said," What will you do, if you see yourself close by dying in front of you and you can't do anything? What will you do?" Vibhi kept silent for a while, she replied, " Ii.. Don't know, what I will do?"
Yadav said, " You don't know, what a foolish answer. When all those thing happens, your answer flashes right in front of you." He stared at Vibhi and said in pain from his operation," Look at my eyes, are you able to see those answers. Aaaa...!" Vibhi said with her eyes down," I am not ready enough to witness the answer directly. But still, I want you to continue." Yadav said," Well! As you wish."
Yadav continues with his story, and he restarts narrating his story from where he left off. Again from now on, all words are from Yadav. After a few hours, I was able to move my body. From that blast, my body got polarised for a few hours. When I woke up, I tried to stand but with my condition, I was barely able to stay upright. As in the pain from my injury, my losses were not enough.
What I saw was even more haunting than that. Everything which we built, that we cared about, that we loved all was now turned into ashes. This took out my heart from my soul. The village head saw me and quickly came to support me to stand. I with difficulty in my speech asked him, Where is Sandeep? Sandeep Mishra. He was not with us in the field to fight. Where is he, I am not able to see him or his family. Village head replied to me," I haven't seen him today. We thought he was with you all in the field.".
I shook my head and asked the village head, Everyone else is fine. He replied with a disappointing silence, this silence said clearly. Most of us had lost someone, mostly an elder of their home. But a loss like this can't be measured by age or gender.
The next thing I remember after that is, I was lying on a hospital bed. My half of the body was not severely burned but had enough burns. When I looked around, I saw my wife and daughter waiting for me. I closed my eyes and again looked, but they were not there. I was all imagining them. It shook up my heart. Tears were falling from my eyes, I cried.. I cried aloud. After that for a few days, I was in despair. I was literally turned mad, my mind was repeatedly showing me the flashes of death of my family.
But, after a few days in the hospital. My villager came to visit me. They told me some info that I should have never heard. My brain regained its control, my blood was boiling as much like lava was running in my veins. I screamed aloud, with anger hidden inside my heart for that long. They had told," Yadav, it was long. We know whatever we say, it will not bring your family back. But this will give you a reason to live. We had managed to capture the traitor, who betrayed our village. We want you to punish the culpable. That's all."
Following these sentences they left me in my room. Within two days I was discharged from the hospital. Many people of our village, who had lost someone in the conflict had come to get Justice. They took me to the same place of destruction. Within the very place where I lost my family, they had captured the culprit from us. One of the people standing nearby handed me a sickle. I went near him and asked a simple question," Why? Why did you betray your very own people?" He replied," I was scared and want my son to be safe. They were offering me a lot. I didn't know that they would go this far." I again questioned him," Is that so, then why did you kill Sandeep and his family? Village head."
