Vol.3 Afterword

Wooo! Finally complete with another Volume! Rejoice, yaaaaay!To be honest, this was one of the arcs I was most worried about, since it tookplace almost entirely in a single Dungeon. I didn’t think I’d be able to write alot about it, but it seems my worries were unfounded. The cast this time wasalso completely different, with Lune being put in a situation where he doesn’tknow a single person present!The theme for this Volume was “What if nothing went Lune’s way?” so Iintended to make every single party member extremely selfish, ill-manneredor just unreasonable, which would lead to Lune losing his temper and beingput at his wit’s end a lot. That being said, I (much like Lune) grew to likethem quite a lot, so I couldn’t bring myself to make them out to be unlikeable(also, it wouldn’t make sense in a story sense).Here’s another fun fact: in the original draft for this Volume, no one apartfrom Lune survived, but I saw the potential of having someone like Marinaaround to be way too large to just discard, so I ended up having her live aswell. She’s just a bright ol’ ray of sunshine in this damp environment ofSibirus, and I can’t wait to write about all sorts of anecdotes about her in theother continents and such.Speaking of characters who are more rarely mentioned in this Volume,Lemmy and Lee have been shunned from the bandits. It’s a bit of a shame inits own right, since they no longer have a place to call home, but who knows,maybe we’ll hear more about them in the future?Now that I think about it, I’m already at Volume 4 of the story… Geez! That’sa lot of words, damn! I’m actually kind of getting ecstatic about thisrevelation, and the best part is I’m not even a fifth of the way there! I wonderhow I’ll feel like when I finish the last Volume… Crap, now I’m sad.Gahh! Melancholy thoughts, begone! This is a moment of bliss, so we shouldbe happy! Thank you all so much for reading this far into the story, I’mgladdened to hear there are people who get to kill time by picking it up andreading for a bit!
