Spirit Warden

???: "Director Jinnai, where the hell is Ryuzaki?"
Jinnai: "He's on his way Akira, you're just going to have to hold them off you know how he is." (A young woman with medium length black hair was seen fighting two dark aura shrouded figures that towered over her as she threw a barrage of kicks at them and proceeded to backflip away from them landing on top of a small fence as they were now dazed.)
Akira: "I'll try my best, but these Wraiths are surprisingly strong today."
Jinnai: "It's a full moon Akira of course they are stronger; just hold out for a little longer he's nearly there."

(Akira dodged a double swipe from them both as she leaped over them and landed with a backflip on the ground as she targeted their legs attempting to take them down as she let off a barrage of punches and kicks before she attempted to sweep one of their legs and suddenly her leg was grabbed by the wraith.)
Akira: "Shit, Boss this may go bad." (Suddenly as the Wraith began to roar and opening its mouth to devour Akira its arm was completely severed from the rest of its limb as Akira hit the ground with a thud and it stumbled back as Akira looked between her legs that were over her head and saw a silhouette of a tall young man with a sword resting on his shoulder.)
???: "Getting sloppy in your old age are we Shiraishi?"
Akira: "So happy you could finally join me you brat, took you long enough Kaito." (Akira stood up as she dusted herself off and Kaito joined in beside her as he thrusted his katana forward and it quickly began to shift from a katana to a long handled scythe as he rested it on his shoulder.)

Kaito: "Sit back and watch your Protégé take care of something you couldn't." (Kaito spun the scythe around his neck as he began to charge in as the handle smacked the charging wraith in the head before he used it like a pole vault stick and launched up as he was now above the Wraith before he began to spin and slice clean through it like a saw blade as it started to slowly fade away as he set his sights on the one with the missing hand. He shifted his weapon once more and it was now a spear as he slowly reared back and took two big steps before launching it at the wraith plunging it through its core as it screamed and followed the previous one.)

Akira: "You always got to one up me don't you kid?" (Akira pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her back pocket as she put one her mouth and lit it.)
Kaito: "Yeah, just to piss you off."
Akira: "You eat yet kid? Of course you haven't you're still in your uniform lets go grab a bite."
Kaito: "As long as you're paying." (Akira grabbed Kaito by the head as she began to walk and he struggled to get his head out of her grasp as she grinned and they eventually arrived at an American style Diner and they sat down as they both ordered and began to eat.)
Akira: "You doing good kid? I know you live on your own and all."
Kaito: "Awww someone's worried about me? That's sweet and of course I'm doing good."
Akira: "See if I ever ask about you again, you're a brat sometimes."
Kaito: "I know but you wouldn't be treating me to dinner if you didn't love me Akira."
Akira: "Guess you could say you're like my little brother, of course you're going to piss me off." (The two laughed as Kaito was already done eating and Akira had finished with what she wanted and she pulled cash out and paid as they left the Diner and began to walk before they eventually stopped at a cross walk.)
Akira: "Well I'm going to go file the report and tell the Director the job is done, go on home and get some rest."
Kaito: "I planned on it, you know paperwork isn't my thing." (Kaito took off running in a seperate direction from Akira as he waved and she shook her head as she began to walk towards the inner of Tokyo.)

(Kaito was laying on a futon in a traditional style Japanese room asleep as one leg was sticking out of the covers and he was drooling before he heard shouting and quickly snapped awake.)
???: "Kaito Get up your lazy ass, you got your first day of school today!"
Kaito: "Shut it you old fart! I'll get up when I feel Like it!" (Kaito got up as he walked to the bathroom as he rubbed his eyes and he splashed water on his face as he brushed his teeth and pulled on his pants as he walked back and put on his shirt as he button up and put on a tie but didn't tighten it as he grabbed a school back and slung it over his shoulder grabbing his jacket and taking off out the door after putting his shoes on.)
Kaito: "I'll see you later Master Kenjiro, I'll be by to grab my stuff as we get our dorm assignments today."
Kenjiro: "Alright, don't be a trouble." (Kaito walked down the road as he pulled his phone out of his bag and looked at the time and sighed as he wasn't looking forward to being put into a dorm with a random person or excited at all for school as he kept walking before just barely catching a train as it was cramped and everyone was squished together as he saw a girl in a school uniform in front of him and avoided looking at her not to be called out for being a weirdo.)

Girl: "GET OFF ME YOU CREEP!" (The girl gasped as Kaito then snapped his head and was worried that she was talking to him even though he didn't do anything before he realized an older man in a suit with a briefcase was drooling while looking at her as she pushed him away and he was coming onto her before suddenly his eyes turned white and he fell over unconscious as Kaito pulled his hand away after chopping him in the neck and knocking him out as the train came to a stop before the girl could say anything and he took off.)
Kaito (Thinking): "I'm already not looking forward to all of this, people tend to create drama and I just want to get this over with." (Kaito looked up as he began to walk through the front gates of the school and looked around at the huge campus as he sighed and walked in and got greeted by an upper classmen.)

???: "Welcome! I'm Hana Tanaka and I'm a second year, I will be your guide for the tour and your first day it's great to meet you!"
Kaito: "Yeah, I guess it's ok to be here." (Hana handed Kaito a pair of indoor shoes as he switched out of it and put them in his locker and she then handed him a pile of papers.)
Hana: "These are all your schedules and everything you will need to know as well as your dorm assignment and your key."
Kaito: "Thanks."
Hana: "Is there anything you would like to see first? Possibly our classrooms or our clubs?"
Kaito: "To be honest it doesn't really matter, I just need to see where my classes will be and that's it." (Hana looked a little disappointed as she walked and gestured for him to follow as he followed and she should him each classroom he will be studying in each day in the order he will have to be there for as they came to the final classroom.)

Hana: "Anything else Mr. Ryuzaki?"
Kaito: "You can call me Ryuzaki, no need for the formal stuff Tanaka."
Hana: "Alright, well is there anything else you want to see? There is no classes today they all start tomorrow."
Kaito: "Not really, I'm going to go head off to my dorm and go to sleep; I appreciate your help." (Kaito walked off as he waved at her and he disappeared down the stairs as she sighed and slouched her shoulders out of annoyance.)
Hana: "Of course I got stuck with the slacker."

(Kaito walked out of an elevator as he looked at the paper with his dorm number on it as he walked down the hall and came to the door pulling out his keycard to get in as he used it to open the door and opened it. He stepped in with one foot and peered in as he saw a guy and a girl arguing aggressively as he blinked and left as he closed the door.)
Kaito: "My bad, wrong dorm I guess." (He looked at the paper and realized that it was the right dorm as he got a little irritated and slammed his head against the door over and over before opening it once again with his head bleeding as he walked in and took his jacket off before opening both rooms doors and checking for the one without anything in it before he found it and he waved at the guy and girl staring at him now as he closed the door and laid in the bed attempting to go to sleep.)

(The Door opened as Kaito looked up from the pillow and noticed the guy looking at him.)
???: "Who the hell are you?"
Kaito: "Kaito Ryuzaki, seems I'm your dormmate."
???: "I'm Ren Kobayashi, and what do you mean dormmate? This isn't my dorm."
Kaito: "Then who's is it? Because I was definitely assigned to be in here." (He tossed the paper as it fell to the ground and Ren picked it up as he read it irritated.)
Ren: "This won't work out, there is no way you're going to be sharing a dorm with my Girlfriend!"
Kaito: "Oh, she's my dormmate? Didn't know they had mixed gender dorms here, how inclusive of them." (Kaito began drifting off.)
Ren: "You're going to request to change, this isn't gonna work buddy."
Kaito: "Honestly dude, it's not my issue and I'm not some weirdo if you're that insecure I can see why you were arguing."

(Ren walked over to Kaito and stood over him angry as Kaito looked up from his pillow and realized he was closer before the girl was standing in the doorway as she watched.)
Ren: "I'm going to kick your ass and make you change dorms."
Kaito: "I don't feel like fighting, just take the L dude; nothing is going to happen." (Ren grabbed Kaito by the shirt as he ripped it a little and raised his fist before the girl wrapped around his elbow to stop him before he shoved her back and threw the punch as Kaito dodged it and slipped away from his grip as his shirt tore more.)
Kaito: "Are you going to pay for my shirt? Also it's kind of rude to hurt a girl dude, didn't your parents teach you better?"
Ren: "What would you know, you seem like a loser." (Ren squared up as he walked towards Kaito as Kaito looked confused at what he was trying to do before he swung and Kaito kicked his unbalanced leg before kicking him in the face and delivering multiple strikes to his body before he stumbled and fell back as he made an attempt to get back up and couldn't)
Ren: "Why the hell can't I move?"
Kaito: "Not sure to be honest, I kind of just wailed on you; might have hit a pressure point." (Kaito stepped on his stomach as he stepped over and stood over the girl before offering his hand to help her up as she took it and he walked past her and into the kitchen as he poured a glass of tap water and drank it.)

Kaito: "What's your name?"
???: "I'm Riko Watanabe."
Kaito: "Watanabe, I am going to assume this guy is your boyfriend; do you want him here? He seems to be an ass."
Riko: "To be honest, He's different then I thought, more aggressive and he kind of scares me."
Kaito: "You heard the lady, man." (Kaito put his cup down as he picked up Ren and opened the front door as he tossed him onto the floor and closed the door.)
Kaito: "I'm going back to my room, enjoy your day Watanabe." (Kaito disappeared into his room before he drank the rest of his water and got back into his bed and fell asleep.)

(Kaito heard a knock at his door as he awoke some time later as it was now becoming dark outside before he rubbed his head and got up opening to door to Riko.)
Kaito: "What?"
Riko: "There is a man at the door with your stuff."
Kaito: "Oh, ok thank you." (Kaito walked to the door and opened it as Kenjiro had 3 boxes sitting next to him as Kaito stepped out and picked them up barefoot with a tank top on.)
Kenjiro: "Settling in good Kaito?"
Kaito: "Yeah I guess."
Kenjiro: "Didn't know they had mixed dorms here, that's going to be interesting."
Kaito: "I had no clue either, anyways thanks I'm going to head back to bed." (Kaito Nodded to Kenjiro before he started to walk off and Kaito walked into the dorm and put the boxes into his room before sitting down on the shared couch in the living area still groggy.)
Riko: "You never told me your name." (Kaito looked over his left shoulder as Riko stood there.)
Kaito: "Kaito Ryuzaki."
Riko: "Thank you for earlier Ryuzaki." (Kaito got up as he walked past her towards the door and put his shoes on as he grabbed his stuff and put it into his pockets and began to leave.)
Kaito: "Don't mention it, anyone would of done that."
Riko: "Where are you going?"
Kaito: "Convenient store, there's no food here; you're welcome to come along if you like."
Riko: "Give me a minute."

(Kaito waited with his hands in his pocket as Riko then came out of her room with her purse and dressed as she put her shoes on and they set out for the convenient store.)
Riko: "So why did you come to this school?"
Kaito: "That old man asked me too, the one that dropped my stuff off."
Riko: "Is that your father?"
Kaito: "No, he is the man that pretty much raised me though."
Riko: "I see, well I'm glad you're not a creep. I know I'll be alright in my dorm."
Kaito: "Sure." (They kept walking as Kaito kept his hands in his pocket as they were now exiting the dorm building and heading up hill towards the convenient store, they summited the hill as the Convenient store was only half a mile further before they stopped at a stoplight.)
Kaito: "You got a lot of friends going to this school?"
Riko: "Yeah, most of my classmates from Junior High are going to our school. You?"
Kaito: "I don't have any friends."
Riko: "Really? You seem like a popular guy though."
Kaito: "That's nice of you to say, but I know you're just being nice; I look like a loner."
Riko: "Not really, you're kind of handsome actually." (Riko realized what she had said when it was too late and quickly hid her face as she blushed as Kaito didn't even blink and kept walking.)
Riko: "Sorry-"
Kaito: "Why? You just spoke your mind, I couldn't care although I guess I appreciate it."

(They arrived at the convenient store as they split up, Kaito began picking out food and putting it in his basket as Riko did the same. Riko finished first as she got into line and waited her turn to pay before two men got in line behind he as it was quickly her turn and she paid and stepped outside to wait for Kaito before the two men came out a minute later and they began to smoke cigarettes as they eyed her up.)
Guy: "You got to that school down the way don't you?"
Riko: "Yeah."
Guy: "That's a lot of bags, how about I help you carry them back?"
Riko: "No thanks, I can do it myself."
Guy: "Come on don't be a buzz kill, we'd love to help you." (The two men were now standing next to her as she became uncomfortable as they were much bigger then her and she began to back away before the chime of the doors came and Kaito walked out with a blank look on his face.)
Kaito: "You ready to head back?"
Riko: "Yeah." (Riko jogged a little to fall in beside Kaito as he looked at the two guys.)
Kaito: "You know them?"
Riko: "No, they were just having a conversation with me." (The guy walked over as he looked at Kaito and his friend was standing next to him as Kaito looked confused.)

Kaito: "Can I help you with something."
Guy: "Yeah, I want to know what a guy like you is doing with a girl like this; she's way out of your league."
Kaito: "We're just friends, I barely know her to be honest. We share a dorm and I just offered her to come along when I went to buy food."
Guy: "I see, so you wouldn't mind if I hooked up with her."
Kaito: "As long as she wants that, do you want that Watanabe?" (Kaito turned his head back and she shook her head.)
Riko: "Not really."
Kaito: "Well this isn't really my business; sides your breath smells rancid from those cigarettes." (Kaito turned to leave as the guy got annoyed as him and Riko began to walk before the guy flicked the cigarette at Kaito.)
Kaito: "Littering is a pretty serious thing, don't think you should be doing that." (Kaito stopped and turned around as he picked up the cigarette and put it back in the guys hand before the guy got angry and crushed it in his hand before he attempted to swing at Kaito as he stepped away and he smashed his hand into a metal pole before his friend attempted to do the same and punched the other guy in the face as Kaito and Riko casually walked away.)

Kaito: "Weird guys."
Riko: "Did you mean to do that?"
Kaito: "Do what?" (Kaito looked at Riko confused as they were now down the hill and crossing into the property of the school as they walked into the dorm building and got into the elevator.)
Kaito: "I'm going to go shopping for food tomorrow, since we got an entire kitchen.
Riko: "I can buy my own."
Kaito: "Nonsense, we are roommates at the end of the day; we can take turns buying groceries and doing other things. Just because we are a guy and a girl doesn't mean we can't be regular roommates."
Riko: "You're quite friendly for someone with no friends."
Kaito: "Just because I don't have friends doesn't mean I don't want any, people just tend to find me weird or scary."
Riko: "Well today you made your first friend."
Kaito: "Sounds good." (Kaito extended a fist as Riko fist bumped him as they reached their dorm room and they each unpacked their things and made their food as they sat at the table and enjoyed their meals before both of them retired to their bedrooms for the night as Kaito immediately fell back asleep.)
