Chapter 7:

Volume I. Chapter 7. I met a friend

Welcome to my lost Jungle🪴

Chapter 7. I met a friend Thick clouds floated over the towering trees. Walking alone, the girl sat on the yellow swing again, occasionally creaking on them. Loneliness didn't bother her at all, but head was a mess. Today, the leaves were waving in a different way..as if..somebody..was here. "I need to defend myself somehow, it's time to make a bow." While walking through the forest, Kasye collected hard sticks and tree fragments. She found old pieces of cloth and plucked bright purple flowers. Soaking the cloth in water, which was in a small old wooden barrel inside of there seemed to be an ordinary bucket, adding purple flowers, the girl immersed the cloth in the solution and it was colored. Gluing the sticks together with thick juice, the construction looked more and more like a military weapon in her hands. Before this stray falls apart, we need to find and tie it up with a couple of vines. After jumping through the trees, with skinned knees and abrasions on her thighs but with a smile on her face, she brought the missing parts. "It's almost done!" thought Kasye. The girl saved the hardest, thinnest wand for the arrow. Picking at the stones, she finally break it correctly! The arrow was ready. An ordinary feather was attached to the back of it colored in the same way as the purple cloth, only in a green shade from marsh plants. The bushes still didn't seem to be themselves. Coming out of the woods, someone was sitting on the swing. She had short hair, a cute ponytail and orange-colored clothes, or maybe it was just the bright sunlight that made her look like that. Big boots and a bright long rainbow sock with a red bow shimmered in the sunlight. Watching the sunset, the bunny turned around and noticed how someone abruptly ran away, slightly merging with the surroundings. Without even having time to think, someone pushed her in the back, turning around, the setting rays of the sun blinded her eyes but they were covered by the girl's body hanging from top to bottom, held only by a pair of vines wrapping around her legs. Her hands were accurately holding the bow directly aimed at her. Leafy raised her arms up, took a step back, fell to her knees. At the same moment, the vines that held Kasye broke off, but she managed to fly up and, without changing the position of her arms, was able to stand on a swing at sunset like a heroine defending her territory. Noticing that her opponent was unarmed, she lowered her bow and began to examine her, for she was saying something.. Kasye Peach has lived her whole life alone and has only heard voices recorded. The bow immediately disappeared in her hands and girl began try to make out her opponent's speech. Lost in thought sitting on the swing, bunny sat down next to her.Lf-heeey, do you understand my speech?~Looking at her, bunny asked in a calm tone. Surprisingly, Kasye nodded. Lf-is something wrong with your voice? Can't you talk? At a loss, the elf looked in different directions...It turns out that Kasye Peach doesn't know how to talk at all. Maybe she do not have a voice. "Bats do not have sharp eyesight but they have good hearing, and when flying they emit sonar that reflect off nearby objects, which helps them navigate in space." We could say that Kasye has something similar. When trying to interact, she emits something similar to this, and if you learn how to understand these waves, you can understand the very principle of language! The girl had already heard the conversations of others, for some reason she understood them, but could not answer. Perhaps due to not learning how to use your vocal cords.  Lf-you don't have a voice at all? Bunny looked at her with interest, asking a question. With gestures, the elf indicated that she generally did not know what it was..to talk. Lf-mmh. You understand my speech which I say, so you have ears. You're reacting to my actions, so you have vision. But why can't you talk?.Try to open your mouth and say "haaa"Ks-... A- Lf-it almost worked! Strain your throat moreKs-aaaaammLf-well done! Thus, the girl learned a few words.. Lf-LeeeffyyyKs-LeeffiiiLf-LeafyKs-Le-LeafBut still, they were talking through gestures. Leafy Citrusses brought a couple of fruits, which she shared with her new friend. They talked for a while, so the bunny quickly left her. Continuing to walk through lonely days, on one of the most ordinary boring days, Kasye met this girl again. Leafy Citrusses said that she came to this world because she fell asleep. In the physical world there are different villages and towns on the map, inhabited by beings of different races. They are not afraid of each other, because everything is punishable by death. Everything except humans has an innate ability. Sometimes there are two of abilities, sometimes one, and sometimes you also own a combat weapon. There are fictional threshold worlds among the physical world map. It's like going beyond this physical world. If you look around in it, everything will look about the same as in the ordinary, physical world. But sometimes, in the middle of a field where yellow flowers will grow, they will not all have leaves. Megapolis. Huge buildings and roads, but absolutely no cars which are so common and easy to find in it. It's like an ordinary world, but there's something wrong with it. And it's hard to call it a world, it's just a part of the territory that is somehow fenced. In these worlds, there is absolutely no life, nothing develops. It's just full of memories. Getting into threshold worlds is not easy. It is necessary to find a charged artifact belonging to this world and later through a dream or falling out of reality you can visit such worlds. The latter is a kind of blackout, a journey through your thoughts in your head..Welcome to my lost Jungle. Something's not right here.. Why are the seasons completely different? Why is it possible to find trees from an ordinary forest among the canonical jungle trees? What's going on here anyway? Where did these columns come from...? Anyone who has ever been to the threshold worlds has spoken of a constant feeling of anxiety, loss, and memories. They could see themselves as children running past them. Sometimes, they recalled moments from their childhood, but they don't remember if it was really true. Do you often fall out into your own consciousness?Leafy told how she lives in the Citrus world and her innate ability is a high jump. She also travels a lot, so she was glad to learn something new in her life. Kasye doesn't really like to communicate, so bunny came to her quite rarely and brought her fruits, porridges and cereals from her world so that she wouldn't be so lonely. One day, she told me how accidentally got to the edge of the Arcades. Huge blackberry bushes blocked her path and the sky and what was behind them were all white. Empty. Leafy got scared and so she quickly left the end of the world.
