Author’s Update!

I wanted to address a major change as we dive deeper into Season 2. If you’re wondering why we’ve shifted the narrative, it’s because we are now seeing the world through Asami’s point-of-view!

I felt it was time to broaden our perspective and truly understand the complexities driving the story—and who better to show us that than the enigmatic Asami?

For a while, you’ll be immersed in Asami’s world while I take the time to prepare some crucial “recipes” (chapters!) that pick up exactly where we left off in Ichinose’s POV. Think of this as a temporary, but essential, divergence.

Once Asami’s story arc catches up to the same moment in time where we left Ichinose, we will both ride the flow and settle back into Ichinose’s perspective.

I hope you like this opportunity to dive into a different side of the narrative.
