Extra 2: Numakawa's big brain evenings

Syouma Numakawa, age 18. Occupation: third-year high school student. Birthday: June 13th. Favorite piece: the queen. 

A studious man obsessed with science, he'd begin his days with coffee packed to the brim with caffeine, all to ensure maximum alertness in school. He always enjoyed answering all the questions right, but hated answering a question wrong, as it often earned him the mockery of his classmates. 

He'd be one of the last students to leave school, often having to be physically dragged out due to not wanting to leave the science lab behind. Rather than head home though, he'd hop on the train and head to the nearest university in order to continue study in their lab. He was often kicked out by staff on grounds of trespassing. 

On weekends, he'd often find himself at the police station, usually for trying to break into a closed science lab to conduct research. Eventually, one university just allowed him to come and go, which was to their benefit as his research was beneficial to humanity as a whole. 

Numakawa was a prideful man, believing his intellect was the most superior in the world. Yet following his loss to Okisato and subsequent performance at the Knightlife Classic, some say he became more egotistical. Of course, with how he already was, it was hard to tell the difference.
