This story is about holding hands in a world that tells you to let go. It’s about a crow who forgot how to fly, a ninja too afraid to land, and a girl who screamed for both of them when they couldn’t. Ruruka still doesn’t know if she’s Reina’s protector, lover, or mother figure.

Reina still doesn’t care. As long as Ruruka stays. Haruhi? She’s somewhere smacking sense into both of them with a plush toy that suspiciously looks like me.

And me? I’m watching.

I’m not just a narrator.
