Bloody brawl

-PART 1-

In a big lush field it was possible to see a little girl in the distance, she was playing with her ball, never too far from her home or her parents, where is her home you ask? If you looked towards the horizon you would be able to see it, a enormous village filled with houses and people, some of them were cutting wood, some of them were drying their laundry, what was clear was that this was a peaceful village and a safe place to live in... until when suddely the sky was covered by dark clouds, from the clouds descended a dark reptilian creature, it was the size of a grown adult, maybe a little bigger, in the sky the creature spread it's dark wings and flew towards the village, as soon as it could see it, the creature began to spit fire, but, the flames that came out of it's mouth were not some regular flames, they were dark flames, those dark flames not only were burning the little girl's home, but they were also erasing everything they touched, upon seeing this she screamed, cried, and tried to run towards the burning wreackage when the creature suddenly landed in front of her and turned towards her, it showed her a sinister grin, then it started to spit fire in her direction, that was the moment in which Kuroe woke up sweating, she was in some kind of hospital room, sitting beside her bed was Izaya reading a book:

Izaya: oh good, you're awake (puts book away).

Kuroe: where am i?

Izaya: an old hospital, it's one of the properties belonging to Hades, he said we could use it as long we needed.

Kuroe: where is everyone?

Izaya: Hiro and Kaho are in the room on the opposite side of the building, the others are probably on their posts.

Kaho: posts?

MEANWHILE AT THE OPPOSITE BUILDING.

Hiro: we had a meeting while you were unconscious.

Kaho: for how long was i sleeping?

Hiro: one day and a half.

Kaho: THAT LONG!? WHAT ABOUT THE INVASION!? AND THE OTHERS!? HOW ARE THEY!? WERE ARE THEY!?

Hiro: hey hey, calm down they are fine, let me explain

FLASHBACK

Inside the Hospital the group comprised of Hiro, Izaya, Odysseus, Hades, Athena, Siegfried, Juan, Noa, Asuka, You, Akira and Zeira were in the hospital executive office the whole group was seated at a round table reviewing all that transpired so far, after everyone's report Odysseus gave a deep sigh and started to talk:

Odysseus:  ok, let's review what happened one last time, so far almost all of the Twelve monarchs were defeated, leaving only: Hercules, Thor, Freya, Aphrodite, Hera and Zodineus, is that right?

Izaya: don't forget the two freaks who me and Hiro fought.

Hiro nods.

Everyone else (mind): you're one to talk.

Altough the two of them didn't say a word they could feel their judgemental thoughts like a sting.

Odysseus: Ahem, anyways, with this amount of information we can start planning our attack.

Izaya raises his hand:

Izaya: i suggest that we position ourselves in strategic locations in different parts of the city. 

Hiro: yes i agree, i also suggest that a separate group invade the enemy's base while we keep part of their forces away.

Odysseus: yes, i was thinking the same, this way Zodineus would be alone at mount Olympus while Thor, Hercules, Freya and Aphrodite were being held back in the city.

Hades: ok so far so good, so should we assign each one their role?

END OF FLASHBACK

Hiro: the division of the roles were as it follows: Juan and Noa will take care of Hercules and Thor, You and Kuroe-san will hold Freya and Aphrodite.

Kaho: ok, i understand, and the others? 

MEANWHILE AT THE OPPOSITE BUILDING.

Izaya: Ody, Hades, Siegfried, Zeira, Akira, Asuka and You go to the top of the mountain.

Kuroe: wait, what about you and Hiro-kun?

Izaya: well i will attract that freak's attention, while Hiro fights the other one.

???: i see, that makes sense, so that's why we were ambushed on our way here.

Behind them hanging by the window was Shiroki, meanwhile at Kaho's room, Kagami was standing by the window:

Shiroki and Kagami: so, basically me being here was part of the plan, is that right?

In a single moment the Hospital was completely destroyed by a huge expolsion that resulted from Izaya's and Shiroki's clash, in between the falling rubble were Izaya and Shiroki falling down, Izaya had Kuroe in his arms:

Izaya: oh man, look at what you did and worse of all you interruped our makeout session.

Kuroe blushed as they were falling to the ground, she then screams:

Kuroe:  WE WERE NOT ABOUT TO DO THAT!!!!!!

Izaya: oh weren't we?

Kuroe: WE WERE NOT!!!!!!!

Shiroki: oh were you not?

Kuroe: WE WEREEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNN'TTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

Shiroki then uses the falling debris as footholds and lunges towards Izaya attacking him with a flurry of punches and kicks, which Izaya blocks while holding Kuroe in his arms, Izaya then delivers a devastating kick that sends Shiroki flying towards a nearby building:

Izaya: ok, this should buy us a moment.

As Izaya lands in the ground he puts Kuroe down:

Izaya: you should go, if this guy is anything like me he will be up after a few moments, go regroup with Kaho, she and Hiro should be close by, every one else is in the nothern side of the city almost a kilometer away from Mount Olympus.

Kuroe: ok, good luck and please try not hurt yourself too much.

Izaya: yeah, leave it to me.

Kuroe the starts to run towards the place that use to be the opposite sid of the hospital, as soon as she leaves Shiroki jumps out of rubble and lands in front of Izaya:

Shiroki: now that she is gone can you focus now?

Izaya: hah, what? Are you the clingy type? Sorry the only person i want clinging to is my girlfriend.

Shiroki: ouch, it hurts to get rejected like this, but, just so you know i also only want two specific girls to cling to me.

Izaya: two huh, well i'm not one to judge, so how about we start this?

Shiroki: yes, let us begin.

As the battle was getting started on Izaya's side the situation was a little different on Hiro's side, Kagami stood before Hiro and Kaho only staring at them, Hiro confused then asked:

Hiro: why didn't you attack us while the building was collapsing?

Kagami: i'm not a hungry beast that cannot wait to devour their prey, i'm a warrior, i didn't came here to kill i came to fight you.

Kagami then assume a fighting stance similiar to a tae kwan do stance and said:

Kagami: Hiro Densetsu i challenge you to a duel.

Hiro was surprised to hear these words:

Hiro: i guess you're not some punk after all.

Hiro assumes his fighting stance and speaks to Kaho:

Hiro: Kaho, if this guy is here that means the other one must be with Izaya, knowing him he probably told Kuroe to regroup with us, you shoud go meet her and go to the northern sid of the city that's were everyone else is.

Kaho: ok, can you take him on?

Hiro: yeah, leave him to me and go.

Kaho then walks away leaving the to alone:

Kagami: still haven't heard a answer to my challenge

Hiro: (grins), i accept your challenge.

-PART 2-

After parting ways with Izaya, Kuroe was on her way to her destination when she saw someone else running toward her on the horizon, it was Kaho who also noticed that the one running towards her was Kuroe:

Kuroe: Kaho-san, i am so happy to see that you're okay.

Kaho: yes, i am also glad to see that you're fine Kuro-chan, the fact that you're here means that Izaya-kun is also fighting right now, right?

Kuroe: yes, that white haired boy appeared out of nowhere, is Hiro-san also engaging in combat right now?

Kaho: yes, the boy that appeared last time appeared in the room and challenged Hiro to a duel.

Kuroe: a duel?

Kaho: i also find that weird, but, that probably means that he will focu solely on Hiro, we should take this chance and go north to stop our targets.

Kuroe then noticed not far from there a presence, in a split second a crushing wave of sound appeared out of nowhere and hit the two girls, the two of them managed to escape in time, Kuroe and Kaho then started to scan the area to find the one behind this attack, Kuroe then spotted two silhouettes at the top of a nearby building the silhouettes belonged to Aphrodite and Freya, Aphrodite then waved at Kuroe:

Aphrodite: heyo~ bunny girl remember me? 

Kuroe: Aphrodite!

Kuroe upon seeing her revealed her wand and lunged towards her, but, she was then stopped by Freya who blocked Kuroe's attack with her mist sword, Aphrodite summoned her microphone and yelled at it sending a shock wave towards Kuroe,but, her attack was then blocked by the trunk of a huge tree, it was Kaho who summoned that tree by stabbing her wand into the ground:

Kaho: Kuro-chan, you can leave the support to me.

Kuroe: Kaho-san, i'm counting on you.

Freya: they're kind of annoying sis, can i kill them?

Aphrodite: leave some to me.

Kuroe and Freya then locked their weapons and begin an exchange of blows, while Kaho and Aphrodite began a shootout.

-PART 3-

The city shakes uncontrollably as buildings start to fall one after the other, as they fall a giant dust cloud rose from the ground and from it emerges Juan and Noa who were already locked in battle with Hercules and Thor, Hercules was in his nemean lion form, while Thor was in his Heiti form, Thor was sending down several lightning bolts towards Noa, who was dodging them at the last moment by jumping at any building still standing, mean while Juan was giving his all to try and damage Hercules, but it seemed that nothing had an effect on him, Hercules them swings his claw at Juan that dodges the attack by crouching, he then grabs Hecules outstretched arm and spins around while holding him, Juan then launches Hercules towards Thor making them both crash at a nearby building, Juan the jumps away to create some distance and to meet with Noa at the top of a nearby building:

Juan: (out of breath) okay, this is getting stupid now.

Noa: agreed, they're tough opponents.

Juan: on the bright side it's a good thing we intercepted them when we did, if not for us Hiro and Izaya would have to deal with all six of them.

Noa: yes that is true, by the way did you get stronger hon?

Juan: what? Oh yeah, Hermes-san gave me a weird plant to eat during one of my fights and i think my body absorbed some of its power.

From within the rubble a massive torret of electricity surges forth, destroying everything around it, out of it emerges Thor and Hercules with no apparent damage to be seen: 

Thor: interesting, i would say that those two are worthy adversaries do you not agree brother?

Hercules: i agree, let's crush them with everything we have.

After confirming that their enemies weren't down for the count Noa and Juan engage into their fighting stances, Juan then sighs:

Juan: (sigh) ¡Dios mío!, this is gonna be a looooooong night.

Noa: indeed, but this won't be our first time being up all night.

Juan: (chuckle) i wouldn't compare this to an all gaming night at Hiro's place.

Noa: (chuckle) yes, i would say those are harder than this.

-PART 4-

Meanwhile the group tasked with invading the palace was running through the staircase that led to the top of the mountain, on their way towards the top the group was fighting off several rank 2 low tier Zeus and Odin copies that appeared to stop them in their tracks:

Odysseus: let's keep moving we are almost there.

Akira hits a Zeus clone in the stomach making it crouch, he then uses the crouching Zeus clone as a stepping stool to jump high in the air and starts to kick ten other Odin and Zeus clones into each other making them dissapear:

Akira: so, Zodineus made inferior copies of his two halves to guard his palace?

Ziegfried: seems like it, although they are his clones they aren't very strong.

Ziegfried slashes through several of the Odin clones, but, some of the Zeus clones appear behind him to attack but suddenly they stoppe upon hearing Asuka's commad:

Asuka: stop.

Asuka then activated his Dean armor and started to punch several of the clones sending them flying far away from there, You was seen flying in the air with wings made of armor, she then sends a torrent of iron feathers towards more clones, while Athena launches her spear with a massive amount of mana focused on it's tip, upon contact the spear unleashes a huge explosion enveloping most of the night sky, on the back Zeira and Hades watch as the group fights off their enemies:

Zeira: it doesn't seem like they will stop coming anytime soon, maybe i should-

Hades: nah, save your energy i'll clean up house, (inhales) HEY, I'LL UNLEASH A BIG ATTACK, IF YOU GUYS DON'T WANT TO GET INVOLVED GET BEHIND ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!

The group heeding Hades warning rushes behind him, Hades the creates at the palm of his hand a small ball of green energy, he them points his palm towards the clones:

Hades: soul burst.

A massive torrent of power is then unleashed erasing all the clones that were in the blast's path, as the dust settles the group was stunned to see that all that never ending flood of clones was erased without leaveing any trace behind:

Asuka: thank goodness you're our ally Hades-sama.

You: (noding) hm hm.

Siegfried: that Hades-sama for you.

Odysseus: yes, but i don't think this will last.

Athena: agreed let us leave before more of them appears.

The group then resumes climbing the stairs, as they climb Akira notices that Zeira was pouting as she was climbing:

Akira: what is wrong Zeira-nee? Why are you upset?

Zeira: i could've done that too.

Akira: i'm afraid that in your case, you would have blown half of the mountain by accident.

Zeira: that is just mean, i'll have you know that i have learned to hold back a lot, in the worst case i would have blown only the whole staircase by accident.

Akira, You and Asuka (mind): the scary thing is  don't think she is too far off. 

Zeira then stops climbing the staircase, ASuka notices this and stops:

Asuka: is something the matter?

Zeira:....... you guys go up ahead.

You: what? Why?

Zeira: i felt some weird mana from the left, i will go check that out real quick them i will be back.

Zeira then Jumps up towards a rocky formation left from there, the group look at each other and proceeds to climb the stairs eventually reaching the main hallway of the palace, their advance continued until they encountered a woman wearing a long dress standing in front of the door leading to the throne room, she was wearing several ornaments on her head, Hades face tensed up upon seeing this woman:

Hades: Hera.

Hera: well if it isn't my dear brother-in-law Hades, how are you babe?

Hades: good, so, i take it you're the one guarding the throne room? Is it asking too much for you to let us through?

Hera: sorry, no can do.

Akira, You and Asuka then stand before Hades and Hera:

Akira: Hades-sama, leave her to us, meanwhile, you, Siegfried, Odysseus and Athena-sama go to Zodineus.

Looking at them Hades sighs:

Hades: (sigh) ok (turns back) let's go.

As Hades and his group starts to walk away:

Hera; oh no, you won't.

Darkness envelops Hera's body, from the darkness emerges six other Heras, but, unlike the original one those Hera clones had no face.

Hera: attack.

All the clones run towards the group, but they were stopped by a flying kick from Akira, two rockets from Asuka and a punch from You's gauntlet:

Asuka: leave her to us.

Odysseus: ok, we're trusting you.

You: mm, leave it to us.

Hades, Odysseus, Siegfried and Athena, kept running towards the door leading to the throne room, leaving the three youths to deal with Hera and her clones, the clones started to relentlessly attack the three, but, all of the clones were getting wiped out by the team, Akira was parrying every blow of the two clones attacking him, he then hit one of the clones with an one-inch punch sending it flying towards the other one defeating it, Asuka kept the two clones at bay by shooting missiles at them, when one of them got close to him he stabbed the clone with his sword, he then lunged at the other one cutting it in half, You was blocking every attack that the last two clones were unleashing at her, She then kicked the two with her zebra shoes, the kick was so strong that the two clones passed through the walls in the hallway, Hera seeing this raised her hand and yelled:

Hera: REVEAL HERA!!!

All her clones then turned into dark mana that floated towards her, enveloping her body, when the darkness faded her white dress was gone in it's place was a black short-sleeved shirt on her body and a black shorts on her lower body with black boots on her feet.

-PART 5-

Hades, Odysseus, Siegfried and Athena finally arrived at Zodineus throne room, in there Zodineus was sitting at his throne which was at the center of the room, waiting for their arrival, as soon as he noticed the groups arrival he started to speak:

Zodineus: you know nii-san, the final day of that war was a curious one to say the least.

Hades: what do you mean?

Zodineus: allow me to shed some light on a mystery that hasn't been answered to this day, let's talk about my origin.

Hades: your origin? You mean the time you became a rank 3?

Zodineus: yes exactly, when Zeus and Odin were about to face each other at the top of the mountain, something curious happened, they regained their sanity, they where questioning themselves on why they were fighting in the first place, that's when something caught their attention, there at the top of the mountain there was a temple.

As this was happening Zeira had finally reached the peak of the mountain, upon reaching there she encountered an old temple ravaged by time, in the entrance of the building there were two statues one of a creature with reptilian features and the other a knight with his head missing:

Zeira: what is this?

Zeira then decided to enter the mysterious building, returning to the palace's throne room:

Zodineus: the design was kinda creepy, with winged snakes through the wall in the hallways and statues of draconic creatures, but, the creepy part was not the design of the building, no, the creepy sensation was caused by something more instinctual.

Meanwhile, Zeira was entering the corridor of the temple, as she walked she couldn't help but notice the drawings of snakes on the walls and the statues of draconic creatures:

Zeira: this place is starting to creep me out, which is saying something since i'm not easy to scare, what is this presence that i'm feeling?

As she walke through the long corridors, Zeira saw a door leading to a chamber

Zodineus: a dark presence was there, the same presence started to call them, against their best judgement they entered the temple, after a seemingly eternal walk through the halls, they found a chamber, what they saw in there answered all their questions, why are we fighting? Why are our worlds combining as we fight? What is this place? If this is a temple what was being worshipped here? If not worshipped then what is being sealed here? All of those questions where answered when they saw him.

Hades: him?

Once entering the chamber Zeira was surprised by what she had found, in the center of the chamber there was a creature chained up, it looked like the reptilian creature from the entrace, but, it was thinner and weaker, it looked barely alive: 

Zodineus: yes, him, a dragon, he was not gigantic, in fact he was sealed by chains, he was thin, it seemed that he was on the verge of dying, when he opened his eyes, fear ran through their bodies, Zeus and Odin yelled at him, demanding to know who he was, he only said his name.

Hades: what was his name?

Zodineus: Tenebrae the dark dragon.

A wave of fear washed over Hades, Odysseus, Siegfried and Athena when they heard the name, they could not understand why, but, the mere mention of said name filled their hearts with fear.

Zodineus: they felt the same you're feeling right now, he told then that the worlds collapsing on each other, our bloodthirst, everything that didn't made sense to us, was so that he could gather enough power so he could free himself, he was using the lives of all of those who died during the war to weaken the chains holding him back, the only thing that he was lacking at that moment was a herald whose mission was to sacrifice more lives to him, he them used the little power that he had to forcefully fuse both Odin and Zeus and thus giving birth to me.

Hades: so you're saying that you're not the mastermind, but, just another puppet being pulled by the strings of the puppeter.

Zodineus: yes exactly, now then, story time is over, come at me!

Zodineus slowly rose from his throne, as he was getting up the group felt the pressure of his power trying to crush them underneath, as for Zeira the creature before her began to pulse; the pulsations grew stronger with every passing second.

-PART 6-

Back at the hospital site, the bloody brawl between Izaya and Shiroki had begun, it started with Izaya punching his opponent through several buildings, Izaya then stomps at the boy who rolls to the side dodging the attack, he then kicks Izaya's face causing him to bleed, but, Izaya grabs his leg and slams him to the ground causing him to cough up blood, Shiroki then kicks Izaya's face also making him cough up blood, Shiroki then jumps to his feet and follows up with a punch directed to Izaya's face, he then stops the punch by headbutting his opponent's fist breaking Shiroki's arm and making his forehead bleed, not giving in the two then engage in a slugfest by trading punches with each other, each punch sending shockwaves throughout the city destroying several buildings in the process.

Meanwhile Hiro and Kagami slowly approached each other with their hands outstretched towards their respective opponents, the moment the back of their hands touch the two engage in a exchange, at firs they started slow and  with light blows, a attack, a parry, a counter, repeat, but, as they repeated this cycle they were starting to get faster and stronger, their blows started to hit harder and harder, it reached a point where which parried attack created enough wind force to destroy their surroundings, Hiro then unleashed his flames, but, Kagami did something similar by unleashing dark blue flames to counter Hiro's, surprised, Hiro then aims a punch towards Kagami's stomach, but, Kagami gently redirects the boy's attack to the ground with his left foot and with his right foot delivers an axe kick toward the back of his head, but, Hiro escapes the attack by spinning his body sideways and hits Kagami's face with the back of his fist, launching his opponent towards several buildings that were in the direction of mount Olympus.

Kagami ends up hitting the side of the mountain creating a crater, not long after Izaya and Shiroki fall from the sky landing exactly by Kagami's side, Hiro also have arrived at the same spot:

Shiroki: (huff), (huff) you guys can feel it too can't you?

Izaya: (huff), (huff) what?

Kagami: (huff), (huff) there's something sealed away at that mountain, something we don't want to deal with.

Hiro: oh yeah? (huff), (huff) And what might that be?

Kagami(smirks): that's.....

Suddenly the mountain exploded, the shock from that sudden explosion made all the ongoing fights in the city cease momentarily, not far from there Kuroe, Kaho, Aphrodite and freya watched as from the mountain a fireball came falling down before the four boys that were at the mountains foot, from the ball a creature emerged, before them stood a creature they never saw before, a reptilian looking man? With white scales covering it's body, it had long limbs with very sharp claws on it's hands and feet, it was hunched over, over its back sits a cloak? Wings? Or perhaps a piece of cloth and to top it all of, a huge tail protuding from its behind, in any case the creature didn't see very concerned with the people standing before it, actually it seemed to be stretching? 

As the creature was doing it's stretches Hiro and Izaya were paralized, they felt instinctively that any wrong move they'd make would eventually lead them to death, so they decided to invest all of their focus solely in the creature, as Izaya was focusing he noticed a sudden movement, a move so subtle that it was hard to be perceived by the naked eye, but it seemed that Izaya was the only one who took note of it, the creature's tail was lunging towards Hiro, Izaya then screamed at the top of his lungs:

Izaya: GET OUT OF THERE YOU SCATTERBRAINED HEROOO!!!!!!

He then kicks Hiro away taking his place, in a moment, Izaya's body was pierced by the tail, Hiro and Kuroe could only watch in horror as that happened, desperate Kuroe let out a huge scream:

Kuroe: IZAYA-KUUUUUUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
