Chapter 9: Side Stories

The girl with pink hair, or perhaps the princess, was lying on a comfortable bed, her breathing even, still sound asleep.

"Princess Rose wasn't seriously injured."

"That's fortunate."

The two of them left the room, slowly closing the door behind them.

"So Akazuha stayed there and fought Emilia?"

"Yes." Sakura nodded. "I think it'll be fine; I think he can defeat her anyway."

"What we need to worry about now is Princess Rose. The R.E.D. Robot Army has found the whereabouts of the resistance and wiped out almost all of them." Hibaki walked to a bookshelf, pulled down a book, and the bookshelf transformed into a computer.

"If they find the princess, their plan to take over the entire country will succeed."

"By then, the entire population of this kingdom will have been turned into biological weapons," Sakura said.

"Hmm." Hibaki nodded slightly. "Therefore, we need to take care of her until the princess wakes up, then we'll go meet the lucky Revolutionary Army members who managed to escape."

Hibaki pressed a few commands on the machine.

Outside the house located in area 011, a space-bending barrier surrounded the house and shifted it into another dimension.

Below the city of Impact, an important meeting was taking place between the most outstanding individuals of the R.E.D organization, including the seven founders of the organization.

Level 11 – Anxiety Disorders

Level 16 – Major Depressive Disorder

Level 13 – Traumatic Stress Disorder

Level 11 – Borderline Personality Disorder

Level 2 – Somatic Symptom Disorder

Level 1 – Adjustment Disorder

Level 13, Traumatic Stress Disorder, with a displeased expression, crumpled the newspaper and threw it into the corner of the room.

"Damn it, we've lost 5 A.H.M. in just one day."

"How on earth could that guy possess such overwhelming power?!"

While Upper Thirteen was still fuming, Upper Eight – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Upper Nine – Eating Disorders whispered something to each other.

"So, 001's reality-overriding ability is getting out of control?"

"Probably."

"Today's events were a real mess. From what I've observed, some of the personalities and powers of those five specimens have been drastically altered."

"Yes, and somehow, Akazuha was able to easily defeat them, even though in this overridden reality, they were invincible."

"Do you think she's aware that her brother is here?"

"No, 001 is being held captive within a 3D space separate from our 5D universe; it's impossible for her to be aware of him."

"Initially, we used her to create a simulated world to revive Kamikaze-sama, but now, creating a 5D space is causing it to spiral out of control."

Upper Fourteen – Compulsive Disorder, who had been eavesdropping on the conversation, turned and asked, "Are we being affected by her abilities?"

Upper Eight, who didn't seem too surprised, turned back and whispered, "Just a little. Almost some of our subordinates are having their personalities and forms altered."

"The only one capable of stabilizing her is specimen 002, Rose Vanhala."

"She's quite something. She's taking advantage of her current role as a princess in this story and has formed a resistance against us."

"Even so, we still have plenty of ways to deal with her, but the more important thing now is to try and control specimen 001." Upper Nine then walked towards Upper Thirteen and slashed at his neck, causing him to fall unconscious.

"Take him to the medical area, we'll end this meeting here for now."

"Hahhh... it's so cold tonight."

Akazuha, having lost his wallet, couldn't rent a room, so he and the robot he found had to camp on a mountain in City 019.

He and the robot sat opposite each other, Akazuha sighing as he looked at the flickering campfire, occasionally shooting out small sparks.

"I've lost my money, and I can't find it anywhere. I've searched all over the place, even used search magic, but I still can't find it...Sigh..."

Akazuha looked up at the sky dejectedly, lost in thought, but what he was thinking about wasn't the wallet, but something else.

"I have a feeling... this body isn't even mine..." He looked at his palms and lay down tightly.

"Well... today has been too tiring for me, I'll go to sleep first and think about it tomorrow."

He stood up and walked into his tent, not forgetting to wish the robot goodnight.

Akazuha was having a strange nightmare. In his dream, he saw a black suit of armor kneeling before an old man in a white robe, muttering in a strange language, but strangely, he could understand it.

"Are you aware of the sin you have committed, O GOD OF DESTRUCTION?"

Some information that isn't very useful:

5-Dimensional Space: Sometimes, people in Akazuha's world or other worlds mistakenly think the term "world" refers to the universe or any planet within it, but in reality, it's a collection of five layers of space, each completely superior to the others.

The first dimension is just a tiny speck in space.

Two-dimensional space is a flat plane.

Three-dimensional space is the universe, a three-dimensional spatial structure with infinite dimensions, where living beings usually reside.

Four-dimensional space is a bit more special; this is the dimension of the gods who can manipulate time, an infinitely vast library containing moments including the present, past, and future.

In the five-dimensional space where the gods, representing the order of the world, reside, they view each dimension below as a book, much like an author; they can manipulate the dimensions below as if writing a book.
