Chapter 6:
Knights & Princess
Pitter patter* pitter patter*
The rain settled down as the pair then made their return. Eleanor gazed at the man, the general, she then grazed her shoulders over and over again as she felt a gentle warmth tug at her.
Something had happened... her heart fell as she shook head internally, no, no, no, this was Vyacheslav... the mighty, honorable general of Ruthenia. If he wished, he would have thousands of women--why must he even...
Eleanor's gaze fell to him again, she then stripped her eyes away before he could look, why must he even spare a glance at her?
Ready to depart? she shot him a look then nodded as they both then began walking along the muddy path.
From time on time her eyes went to him, knowingly or unknowingly, she was awed at how reserved he seemed to be, at how he clutched at her arms and examined her.
Something interesting written on my face...? Eleanor jolted slightly as she looked away.
N-No... it's just that I was wondering how you got into that situation? The raven-haired man hummed as his eyes once again darted to the front. He didn't reply.
Soon from afar, they saw hunts in the middle of the forest as if it was just a temporary camp. Eleanor's eyes widened, her lips parted as she found Olga, walking back and forth with a frustrated look in her face.
O-Olga! Slav glanced at her as Eleanor sprinted. Olga stopped dead in her tracks as she turned.
She too then sprinted to her as both sisters crashed into a loving embrace. Their breaths staggered. Gosh I missed you... Olga murmured, patting at Eleanor's back.
Before she could respond, you made all worried! where were you? she asked, examining her, her eyes then darted behind her sister as it then fell to an assertive man.
Her words instantly caught at her mouth as realization washed over her, C-Commander in chief...? her eyes flickered Eleanor then him.
He nodded and told her the situation of she had saved him. Eleanor shook her head as she told them he was exaggerating at that anyone would have done it in her place.
"Well, you aren't anyone... Eleanor" Olga's eyes fell to her sister, her lips curled at how coy she nodded. The three then made their way inside the tribe as the villagers noticed and invited him with open arms.
