Chapter 12:

Chapter 12: Hidden chamber Exploration

To be Grandmaster

"I'm here on orders. The Emperor of Weiren sends his regards." He says, bowing mockingly. They seemed to know each other, but how? The girl began taking off her uniform; she had another set of clothes underneath, consisting of black, baggy pants, a black shirt, and an erivis cloak. They were Kraianth. Or at least they were part of it. Elisa took a few steps back carefully, but the girl noticed and grinned...She smelled familiar. Elisa moved closer to her, her fear replaced with the need to know why this girl was tugging at her brain. Lost in thought, she grabbed the girl's face and turned it side to side...Nope. AH, it's her! "You're my roommate!" She said, stepping back and pointing at her, her "roommates" expression moulting from confused to shocked, "HOW did you even put two-and-two together, we've never actually seen each other until now??"

" Your smell." This response prompted her roommate to sniff her arm,

" I mean, the dorm smells like a certain perfume, you smell like that. Plus, I have seen you before, just the back of your head." She elbows her friend as he had turned away to hide the fact that he was trying not to laugh. The Grandmaster clasped his hands loudly, getting everyone's attention,

"As nice as this is, I think it'd be best if we all worked together to get through here. Uncharted dungeons are dangerous, plus you two need to get back to your class before they decide to leave." He said, pointing to Elisa and her roommate. "Very well, but when we reach the final chamber, our alliance ends," The other guy says. With that settled, they proceeded into the dungeon. So far, they hadn't run into anything, just a boring, empty tunnel.

"Allia,"

"Huh?"

"MY name is Allia. I already know yours, so there's no need to introduce yourself. The big guy is Edward." She said, pointing to the dude walking a few steps behind the GM. "What about you, Mr.Grandmasster?" Allia called out to him, who was ahead of the group. He glanced back, said nothing and turned his attention forward again. "Theo," He responded after a long silence. Allia seemed pleased. The girl leaned her head a little too close to Elisa's face as they walked, " So why are you here? It doesn't seem like you came with the Grandmaster?" Allia asked, scrunched her brows, mimicking the face someone makes when suspicious of another, which was annoying. Allia had a well-rounded face, and her eyes were really nice. Elisa wasn't used to being around people her own age, especially not someone like Allia. Her eyes wandered elsewhere while she spoke. "I saw you two sneaking off and thought something fun was going down, so I followed..." That last bit came out quieter than the rest. When she peered back at Allia, she was smirking. She would continue to tease Elisa until they reached the next open chamber.

The four of them walk into a larger chamber than the first, with four branching paths. Edward and Theo walked ahead, discussing which one they should take. Elisa walked over to roughly where the middle is, drawing Irakami slightly from its sheath and closing her eyes. From there, she would let Irakamis' energy leak and flow through the four tunnels, only drawing them back when they react to something. "This one," She says, standing in front of the middle left tunnel. Theo trusted her as he proceeded through, patting her on the shoulder as he passed.

"How'd you know? From what I know, your Ego doesn't let you do anything with sight, and neither do your swords...unless they can see?" Allia asked, inspecting the sheathed Irakami. "It needed to breathe for my energy to branch outward. I knew it was this one cause I felt something collide with my energy, something foreign." She explained,

"Your sword needs to breathe?"

"...Not in a literal sense."

This continued for a while; they made their way through the stone corridors. Once they passed the fourth one, enemies began showing, which were dealt with swiftly by Theo and his gravity Ego. The next chamber only had one way forward, and a series of murals painted onto the wall. They depicted what Elisa interprets as a battle and sealing.

"Thats E'ier, an Ego God who had been killed years ago by the Relic bearer. To think his Ego was here this whole time," Theo explained as he examined the paintings. They could see the man-made doors at the end of the corridor; through those doors was a Divine Ego, and it was also the end of this alliance. "Who's the Relic bearer?" Elisa had gotten closer to Allia so she could ask in a lower tone of voice. She smirked at her again before answering. " The Relic Bearer is someone who supposedly made most of the divine relics," She explained as they proceeded with caution; there was no telling whether traps lay in wait.

"It's said that this mysterious person had killed and sealed Egos within certain items; nobody has actually seen it happen, nor have they seen who the Relic Bearer is, so it's all just a tall tale." She said," This story got her riled up for whatever reason, Elisa wasn't gonna push it. What she was gonna push, however, was the door to the final chamber, which opened with ease. Sitting in the middle of the vast room was the relic; it floated on top of a pedestal. A small cut prismatic gem. The chamber itself was more refined than the rest of the hidden dungeon; the whole place was carved to look like an arena. Elisa ever so slightly bent her legs, carefully she moved her hand so her fingers touched Irakami, with a direct connection, she was able to let out 30%. She launched herself forward, yanking the relic from its resting spot, her feet skidding against the ground as she bumped into the wall. "You damn snake!" Edward yelled at Theo, but his focus was on something else; he extended his right hand as a longsword appeared. To Elisa's right, a large monster breaks itself free from the wall. It was almost as tall as the chamber; the thing was built, and its dark red body loomed over them. Four horns sat on its head, but its eyes bore into Elisa. Eyes, yes. It had two normal eyes and one in its forehead. All three are looking right at her.
