Carter Magarey said, “In the North of the Golden Lelay Ocusen of the 82nd Sea, there is a place known as the graveyard of the empires. The name of the nation was Arya. It was a very strong country, but on a random day all of the people of that nation disappeared without any trace. Their arms were scattered around the surrounding nations.”

Carter Magarey added, “That is all you need to know.”

Thrynn tightened up, saying, “Three hours ago…”

Avery said, “What is going on up there?”

Ervon asked, “Yeah, what is happening?”

Someone screamed, “My arm!”

Avery said, “It’s silent everywhere now.”

Ervon said, “I think the fight is over.”

Avery smiled slightly.

Ervon asked, “Why are you happy? You do know that both of us are prisoners on this ship.”

Avery said, “As a real human, I don’t know why I feel like I am from this world.”

Ervon replied, “It is because I coded it like this. As players, we will get more and more like other players.”

Avery asked, “You mean to say that we will forget that we are real humans?”

Ervon said, “Yes, that is correct. We will forget about this and we will become like this for 1,000 years.”

Avery asked, “Why 1,000 years?”

Ervon said, “I did say 1,550 years.”

Avery asked, “Why did you choose this much time?”

Ervon said, “You’re asking too many questions.”

Avery turned her face away.

Ervon pleaded, “Please, I am about that.”

Avery started crying.

Ervon said, “Please, I won’t do this again.”

Avery began cleaning her tears.

Ervon thought, Uhhhh, of course, a damned woman. She is going to be a pain in the butt.

Ervon said, “Okay, so it is this much time because one day has 62 hours in our world. In one hour in real life, it is one year in the Anims.”

Avery said, “So the thing we’re inside is called Animes?”

Ervon said, “Yes, it is.”

Someone kicked down the door.

Mateo dragged Jone and threw him on the ground. Mateo started walking very slowly, looking angry.

Avery said, “He’s scary.”

Ervon said, “Yeah, we should be careful.”

Mateo came to them and said, “You both have been saved. There are only three things you can do here. First, you will follow me. Second, you can tell me who you are to these people. Third is your freedom if you answer me properly.”

Ervon and Avery said together, “Ok, ok, we will answer you.”

Mateo said nothing.

Mateo said, “You, the boy, speak.”

Ervon started to speak.

Mateo kicked the metal bars with his leg.

Ervon said, “I said the boy.”

Avery said, “But I am a girl.”

Mateo said, “Oh, I am really sorry.”

Avery said, “We were captured by these pirates, but we don’t know how both of us got here.”

Mateo said, “Answer my first question.”

Avery said, “We will follow you, but we can’t bear to see people getting killed for that. We will follow you.”

Mateo said, “Okay.”

Mateo turned to Ervon and said, “You tell me who you are to these people.”

Ervon said, “We don’t belong on this ship.”

Mateo said, “Alright.”

Mateo lifted his hand and touched the lock of the cell. The lock turned into dust.

Avery and Ervon stood up and started to leave.

Mateo said, “You don’t know, we are very far away from the land.”

Ervon said, “So… can you maybe help us?”

Mateo said, “Okay.”

One of Mateo’s crew members said, “Enemy spotted! Someone is coming to the ship!”

Mateo said, “We are going to the basement.”

One crew member said, “Caption, it is the Jolly Pirates!”

Mateo said, “No, I am not staying around to get killed.” He threw the key to Jone.

Mateo’s crew members said, “Move the ship as fast as possible!”

Some crew members asked, “Why, Captain? But we’ve got you on our side.”

Mateo said, “No, stop talking and run away.”

Vice-Captain Kudon said, “As you wish, my Captain.”

Kudon said, “We will attack the enemy ship and fight them.”

Mateo put his hands on his head, confused, then took out his sword and stabbed Kudon right in the neck.

Everyone said, “Behind you!”

Before Kudon knew what happened, his head was on the ground.

Mateo said, “If you don’t listen, this will be you next.”

Everyone got scared.

One of Mateo’s crew members said, “The enemy ship we just captured is fleeing.”

Mateo said, “Roll, everyone, start to move the ship.”

Some of the other enemies, known as the Jolly Pirates, had their captain Selava coming out of their mouths, saying, “Uhh, they ran away. Too bad. I am going to sleep.”
