The week passed without me even noticing, the results were being posted the next Monday where I didn’t do that bad.

“You are below the 50th places, that’s not bad, Ren”

“And you are above the 5th places, that’s a lot, Yuki, guess your studies pay off for me”

“I don’t want to make excuses but I for sure can get it better next time”

We nodded to each other and left for the cafeteria and started eating.

“Has Yoru told you anything?”

“No, it’s been a bit quiet, but I had Tatsu help me with looking a proper trainer, they stuff you planned and I along with the help of Tatsu is good but I need to get stronger and had a better technique if I want to get into the championships”

“How is that site holding out?”

“Is going okay, I’m still missing but I had a few more fans, think one of them is a really cute girl?”

“C’mon, you think girls watch this stuff?”

“Hey, you never know”

“In any case, are you going to practice today?”

“Yeah, I need to stretch, I don’t want to be rusty just after my first match”

A few hours later I met with Yuki at the entrance and we took our way home, I received a message from Tatsu telling me to go in a specific direction.

“It seems I had a trainer now”

“That place is not really that far away, we should get there in a matter of minutes”

“Yeah, let’s grab some food for later and go as fast as we can”

Yuki nodded and we passed to a convenience store and grab some onigiris and green tea, we went to my house and changes clothes then we leave to the bus station until we reached our destination, when we get out of the bus, we look at the place Tatsu told us and we entered.

There were a ton of people training already, but they were normal people, it was a gym but with a ton of ways to practice, they were ones practicing karate, others boxing and others just doing free styling fighting.

Then we saw Tatsu.

“Tatsu, yo!”

“Oh, guys, welcome”

“What’s with this place?”

“You read what I sent you too, right?”

“Eh? Oh yeah, don’t worry, I won’t mention it, but how is that going to help me out?”

“It seems this is the guy, right, Tatsutsu”

“Tatsutsu?”

“Is just a dumb nickname she gave me”

“Who are you calling dumb?”

The woman let her hand touched the entire head of Tatsu, this woman has huge, she was taller than Tatsu, curly long brown hair and a face that would scare more than one person, wearing a white tracksuit with some yellow parts on it, I look at her with a bit of dread and excitement.

“I’m Ren Kazeki, pleasure to meet you, miss!” I bowed after I said that.

“Haha, it’s been a while since someone called me miss, I’m Misaki Aoi, you have your modals established boy, I like that, and you?”

“I’m Yuki Arima, nice to meet you ma’am”

“Not bad, not bad, who is the one I’m training?”

“You are going to train me, miss?”

“Disappointed?”

“No, I’m looking forward to it!”

“Alright, then come with my boy”

We followed Miss Aoi to one of the doors that lead to a basement, there she turned on the lights and I saw a ton of equipment, weights heavier than the ones that were upstairs, a big arena, it was the same as upstairs but with upgrades.

“Hope you are ready to break your body in half boy, because I am making you man in this field”

I smiled a bit nervously and looked at Miss Aoi's direction.

“Bring it on!”

She smiled at me and she took out her jacket and put herself on the field.

“Don’t worry about it, this room is soundproof, you can let it out in here”

“You mean…”

“Yes, your power”

“So, you were aware of it”

“Of course, she is, you think I was bringing you to a normal trainer?” —Tatsu said.

“But that place looks normal…” —Yuki said.

“You can ask me any question after I’m finished with this boy, come on”

“What power do you have, Miss Aoi?”

I took off my clothes, wearing only my shorts with some straps in my feet and fist.

“I don’t have any”

“Eh?”

I was about to take a step into the arena and stopped.

“Huh? Are you saying you are worrying to hurt me because I don’t have powers? Don’t get ahead of yourself, boy. Give me your best punch”

I got hesitant and turned back to look and Tatsu just nodded at me, I stepped in and charged my fist with wind and punched Miss Aoi in the abdomen, but she didn’t flinch she just smiled.

“Is that all? You didn’t put all your strength on it”

Miss Aoi kicked my leg and grabbed my arm and pinned me down against the floor.

“Don’t underestimate people with no powers, how do you get out of this one?”

My entire body was submitted to the floor, this woman had a ton of strength, I tried to put air below me but she kicked my other leg and crossed my other arm putting her feet in my head.

“REN!”

“Easy, she knows what she is doing”

“Hey, hey, break out of this boy, you cannot? I’ll not train weaklings, you know?”

I groaned and concentrated on the wind in my body then I let it out but it wasn’t enough, a ton of equipment shackled for it but this woman was still on top of me.

“Was that just a breeze?”

“Heh…”

I turned my head as I could and smiled at her.

“A small one…”

I made that explosion of wind let out cover one thing, the wind in my legs, the moment I hit the floor with them my body went upwards and I could feel how my arms were being stretched for it, but then I went flying across the room alone, Miss Aoi let out of me.

I hit myself against the wall and dropped on the floor upside-down.

“You are a crazy bastard, boy, I like that”

Miss Aoi was smiling and went for me, carrying me with one hand.

“Were you conscious about what you were about to do?”

“Ripping my own arms, yeah”

“You are really crazy, but you must know something else right? You are not the first wind user I train”

“I felt it, when I try to create with to lift my body, that’s how that occurred to me and, even my legs are still shaking a bit”

To create a wind explosion like the one I did for my legs, I need to put a ton of pressure in the part that I am doing, and to do that I also need to have a way to make it work, meaning that when I was pinned against the floor, I couldn’t hit it since I needed to hit floor back with the wind I accumulate.

Also, the wind is not of free use, it hits against my body, if I do it without too much caution, I could break my bones just from the hit.

“Excellent, seems that you are quite the clever one, that will solve some issues”

She took out her phone and started to look at the screen and she saw me with a smile.

“You won in a three battle with a majority of points, your stats are good… yeah, you will be a good trainee boy”

“Thanks… haha…”

I sighed and sat on the floor, I looked at my hands and closed them with excitement.

“I’m looking forward to becoming stronger, Miss Aoi!”

“That’s the spirit! You two! You are not just to show, you better start working out as well! Especially you, snowflake!”

“Snowflake?”

“I mean, you look kind of weak, Yuki”

“Don’t you dare to take it as an insult, but your body does need work, with some training you are going to pass from a snowflake to an avalanche!”

Miss Aoi started to laugh and I got up.

“What do I do next?”

“I need to go check back to the rest of my team, so you stay here and start with… these”

Aoi gave me a pair of dumbbells, the moment I grabbed them I felt the weight on them, they were heavy.

“You are just a regular human after all, the power you have doesn’t make a superhuman, but it does give you more resistance than the average person, with strength and stamina you will get stronger, do this a 1000”

“A 1000?!”

“See you later”

Miss Aoi left me and the others, and I grabbed the dumbbells.

“I better start now…”

“Isn’t that a bit too much? That seems super heavy”

“I had too… this is just the start after all”
